This was a small hole in the wall place at liberty station. Chicken was cooked fresh, and you got to pick the sause. I got teh BBQ as it seemed like a safe bet. The meal was ok. It wasn't bad but nothing really made it stand out to me. Maybe a bit salty. It was ok for the price, and libnerty station seems to be a bit expensive for what you get in general no matter which place you get lunch at.

We stopped by FC inside Liberty Public Market to grab lunch. I'm not sure of the allure of LPM. The food at FC was mediocre, and the other eateries did not look appealing. The chicken and fries were bland. Secondarily, I asked for hot sauce as one of my free sauces. I was given Cholula: Palm to face. Lastly, I put S & P, and Cholula on the fries and they could not be rescued. Fries should be seasoned straight out of the fryer. The service was fast, and the woman who served us was nice. All the eateries at LPM don't have their own seating. You find a communal place to sit and eat. In this case we found a bar, and I grabbed an overpriced beer. All in all, a ho hum experience at LPM and FC. I will not return.

Great spot! Welcoming, friendly service. Right inside Liberty public market. From the main entrance by the outdoor patio seating, head straight. You'll see the communal table seating, turn right and it'll be on the right hand side. Tap to pay. Choose your spice level & dipping sauce. Luvd the light, airy, crispy, fluffy battered chicken all tucked inside a toasty bun with butter pickle, house sauce and coleslaw on the side cuz I want my chicken extra crunchy. There's a lot of choices here at the market this is one to definitely visit for a good chicken slider. It's just the right size so you can have room left over for dessert.

Stopped by in Liberty Station since it was next to Slurp and my son had the buffalo fries which he really enjoyed and Josie was a pleasure to order from.

We wanted to visit Liberty Public Market and I found a chicken restaurant inside. First the Liberty Public market was fantastic and eclectic and had a ton of different eateries and shops inside. So glad we stopped by. I found Fluster Cluck And saw the happy hour jumbo slider and knew I had to try it. The house sauce was great. The heat was good (I chose mild and I think my wimpy tastebuds could have even handled medium) the slider was very large for a slider so the portion was quite generous. The chicken was quite good and the breading had a very good satisfying and lasting crunch. I was so pleasantly surprised about the great taste of this chicken burger that it has made it up to #4 on my list. You gotta give Fluster Cluck and liberty public market a try.

It was ok. We ordered tenders with fries and piece of toast. We asked for mild and the chicken tenders were well seasoned. However, the fries had no flavor whatsoever. You had to use the dip or else you're going to feel like you're eating cardboard. You get two sauces per order anymore is extra. We ended up using the sauce for the fries.

Can't go wrong with some fried chicken. This spot was delicious and the portion of fries was HUGE. Super tasty. I like the different dipping sauce options offered.

We tried so many different foods while at the public market. This was a hit with the teens. Very tasty and lots of cheese sauce. The chicken was well flavored and we enjoyed the crispy fries. We like the sauces that came with it as well.

Cheesy chicken fries. Honey mustard and house sauce on the side.

Food It's okaaaaay. It's not bad, but it's nothing worth raving about either. With so many hot chicken choices around the city, you could easily find better tasting one. That said, they have decent hot chicken. The skin is crispy, I got the Hot level and it was mildly hot to me. It doesn't taste like a typical Nashville hot chicken, more like a peppery spicy chicken. I got the cheesy chicken fries, which is a bed of crinkle cut fries with nacho cheese reminiscent of movie theater nacho cheese, pieces of chicken and a sprinkle of spring onions (didn't go well with the taste imo). The fries themselves were plain, but they have salt and pepper where you pick up your food. For each meal, you're allowed to choose 2 sauces. I tried the house sauce and the honey mustard. I liked the honey mustard. Satisfying portion. When you order, you're asked for your phone number so you can receive a text when it's ready. Because this is a stall inside the market, you can just pick up your food when it's ready and have it wherever you want. I recommend sitting outside and enjoying the sun if it's a nice sunny San Diego day.

Took a chance on a jumbo slider. Big mistake. Will not return. Enjoy your: - cold bun - reheated chicken (clearly not freshly fried) - incorrectly applied spice (isn't Choose Your Own the entire point???) - unmelted chese

Absolutely worth the visit to Liberty Public Market! I've been to this market before when I visited San Diego but I can't remember what I got last time. BUT I'm not forgetting this place. They had affordable prices, perfectly fried chicken with an amazing spice - plus sauces!! They text you when your order is ready which allows you to walk around and the staff was great too! There is seating everywhere at the market - both inside and outside. I had the #1 which included two crispy chicken tenders, American cheese, slaw, bread & butter pickles, Nashville comeback sauce, and crinkle cut fries. I just wish there was one in Austin, TX.

OHHH MYYY GOSSSHHHH. This place is certainly no "fluster cluck". I am picky with my fried chicken. Perfectly crispy and seasoned; deliciously tender, juicy, greasy underneath. Absolute perfection. Their house-specialty sauce (forgot the name!) was sooo drool-worthy. Customer service was fine. I love that they text you when your food is ready. Best of all? The price! The food is so affordable for a touristy spot. Paid about $11 for their military meal deal that included a super big slider, a tender, and tons of fries. I was blown away - totally figured it'd be more expensive. Will absolutely be back!!!

    Cheesy Chicken Fries
    Kannica C.

The portions are very generous here, which I appreciated given the price point is a little high. Because there's so many hot chicken spots in San Diego, I wouldn't recommend this one. I ordered the cheesy chicken fries, and the cheese really brought the overall rating of this place down. It did not pair well with everything going on in the plate, and has a strange artificial taste to it. I'd really recommend that they switch up the cheese used in this, because from what I'm seeing, other people agree. Our cashier was very friendly and helpful though, definitely a reason I wanted to check out the food. Liberty station has plenty of other options, with better food and ambiance. Will not be returning!

The food didn't look like the pictures on the menu and the breading came off when cut. It's definitely not Nashville hot chicken.

I'll have to knock down the rating 1 star just because compared to CAVA and chipotle the options here are quite limited (chicken being the only protein) which is completely fine if you just want chicken. Also I think $17 is quite the hefty price for one bowl HOWEVER, they do really give bigger portions here so at least that makes me feel better about spending almost $20 on a bowl. This is located in Ocean beach, a neighborhood in San Diego that doesn't have too many options so this will be the best next thing to getting chipotle and cava. The Good My special orders on both combos were accurately executed The cashier was efficient and took my order with a smile The Texas toast was appropriately buttered on both sides The food was hot when delivered The Buy One Get One Free combo The Not so Good Some of the fries were limp, soggy, and seemingly a bit undercooked The lemonade was too sweet for me today-it could be the same lemonade they always have, so it might just be me. The Terrible These are the smallest strips/tenders/fingers you've ever received when ordering strips-This is not a location problem unique to this store, this is a Raising Cane's problem. Raising Cane's is good, but the chicken fingers are just that-sized like the fingers of a dainty individual. My favorite chicken spot is priced similarly to RC's but the strips are like 2-3 times the size, providing much more bang for your buck Even though I got the bogo today, I have to drop a star for the teensy tendies. This is a beautiful store. Cane's always puts together beautiful storefronts, and that I can appreciate. I like how this location has a mostly wide open kitchen. I used to say Cane's was the In-N-Out of chicken fingers, but say that no more. On Father's day we fed 8 people for $80 at INO. You can barely feed 5 for that at Canes. Hats off the team at this location for holding it down. The store was really clean and the food was very fresh. Nice work. Thank youuuuuu!
