I ordered from here from Grubhub. No problem with the delivery from Grubhub. It came in time and to my room. The issue is with the food order. I ordered a Cobb Salad. I did not get a fork, so I would have had to eat with my hands if I wanted to eat. I didn't get the salad that I wanted. I requested Apple Vinegar but they Gave me the Lime one. Smh. Yesterday I went in and ordered The Spicy Jalapeño Ranch Sandwich, Small Fries and Iced Coffee with Vanilla with no milk. They brought me my food to the table and forgot to give me the coffee and water I ordered. So the young lady went back to get it for me. Ambiance is nice. Plenty of seating, lighting, clean tables, the service is nice ... That was around 1:50pm yesterday. And I did not have anything to eat since. But here is the thing ... about an hour ago today - my stomach started cramping and have had to take several trips to the restroom. I had to cancel my entire day. I'm 100% certain I have food poisoning. This isn't the first time I have a concern with this restaurant location. A few months back I had a discrepancy with the hot holding temperature of the Chicken Noodle Soup. Apparently the soup was poured into the Bain Marie pot - but was never turned on. The soup was at least 60 degrees. But it had still been served to me for dine in. The soup was gelatinous. They don't notice the lack of steam coming from the pot? The texture? Came here after sea world to grab dinner to take to the beach near by. The employee was kind, efficient at taking our order and the food was served fresh. 1st let me say the staff are amazing. Always friendly and helpful. Lines are quick even when not busy. I've eaten here multiple times, but normally I get the chicken strips or mac & cheese. It's hot today so I didn't want anything that heavy so I ordered the chicken wrap Let me just say it is a very different experience than I am used to. These are obviously prepackaged The lettuce was rotting , the tortilla was so soft. It fell apart. And I'm not sure if the cheese was moldy, or if it was just anticaking agent, but there was a white dusting on it and then the lettuce that it was touching. Anyways, did not eat it waste of money. I personally LOVE Chick-fil-A and would eat there more times than I'm willing to publicly admit if my wallet and waistline would allow, but I had never been to this particular location until the other day before attending a concert that was happening next door at Soma. The drive-thru line was moving pretty quickly at 5:15pm, we were served by a very charismatic young man, who repeated our order back to us confirming everything was correct. The food took a while, however, so we had to pull around to the front to wait. While we waited curbside for our food to be brought out, I ran inside to use the restroom, noticed a code was necessary and asked an employee who begrudgingly provided it to me (after looking me up and down - I was dressed a little grungy due to the concert I was about to attend, but dang). This Chick-fil-A has hands-down the least clean bathroom I've ever encountered. The grout between the tiles was dirty, the floors had TP shreds on them, it didn't smell very good in there. I'm used to pretty pristine bathrooms at Chick-fil-A, so that was a definite unwelcome surprise. I returned to the car and when our food was delivered to our car after a little while, they asked whether we had wanted sauce which told us that they had disregarded the *very important* part of our meal we'd requested - 6 Chick-fil-A sauces. My friend I was dining with can't do without them, and had very diligently requested them at the time of ordering, and also heard it repeated back to us. The employee who was running food out had to go back inside to grab our sauces, and we later confirmed it wasn't even on the receipt. So unfortunately the charisma of that particular employee in the drive-thru line only went so far, but at least our exchange was pleasant. Also, my friend's kale crunch salad didn't come with a fork (which we didn't realize until we got to our destination), and my chicken sandwich was lukewarm, borderline room temp. All the other Chick-fil-A locations I've been to have always had really consistent food quality but this one missed the mark. Between the subpar quality food, lack of utensil, forgotten sauces and unclean bathroom, I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to dine at this location again. read more

I had a rather bizarre experience at this location, unfortunately. It started off well when placing my order, then it went quickly downhill from there... When my order was ready, the Manager called out my name and refused to make eye contact as she was staring off in the distance, while I was standing right in front of her. It was as if I was invisible, possibly because I was nicely dressed at the location. Then, she walked away before I could ask her for a cup of ice water. She asked one of the cashier attendants to assist me, but she also refused to make eye contact, much like the Manager. It was bizarre, because she spoke and handed me the cup of water, but while looking down, as she never actually looked at me even while handing me the cup. She completed the entire interaction while looking down. I started to see a pattern here... Then, Grilled Chicken Sandwich was haphazardly put together with the pickles that I requested all stacked on top of each other in one quadrant of the sandwich. Furthermore, it seemed to be more of a smashsandwich, similar to a Smashburger. Chick-fil-A sandwiches from other locations are thick, full, and robust. They have a certain height to them in terms of the thickness of the grilled chicken, condiments, and bun. I don't know if this was the intended look at this location, but it was as if someone took a meat cleaver and smashed the sandwhich to a pulp. Also, the waffle fries were undercooked and tasted like raw potatoes. Finally, the coup de gras was when I went up to Catherine, the original employee who initially took my order, to thank her for her customer service. However, in a very odd display of awkwardness she started acting weird as if she could not accept a mere compliment. It was a very bizarre situation, as if she wasn't used to compliments regarding her customer service and had an awkward tone of voice. Then, I noticed a rather large tattoo on Catherine's left forearm from her wrist extending up toward her elbow. Ultimately, I realized that she was a fish out of water receiving a kind and generous compliment from a classy customer. My assessment is that this Chick-fil-A location caters to the swap meet goers at Kobey's, which has become more of a used item rundown flea market over the years with several nefarious characters walking in and out of the restaurant. For this reason, if you have any semblance of class, this is probably not your location... It's unfortunate that the staff here refuses to make eye contact, probably out of fear of the customers, and they definitely don't know how to take a compliment. It's sad, because this review could have been completely opposite, if they just would have done what we learned in kindergarten, which is to look at peoples' faces when talking to them and be gracious when given a compliment. read more

I was super bummed. We went the other night right before close to get peppermint shakes. We confirmed with the order taker that peppermint shakes were still available at this restaurant, and they excitedly shared YES! We ordered, grabbed our shakes, drove home, and then found out that they did cookies n cream for all of the shakes and not peppermint. To say we were bummed would be the biggest understatement. We couldn't go back because it would have been closed by the time we got there, and since it was Saturday, it wouldn't be open the next day on Sunday. When we went through the drive-thru, the server Cathy did not take our order even though her line was completely clear and she was available. We waited while another Chick-fil-A worker was busy helping another car, and instead of helping us, Cathy stood there and then immediately took the order of another car that pulled up after us. I really try to avoid fast food reviews altogether, because fast food is just that, FAST FOOD! You shouldn't and can't really expect too too much. However I am getting tired of spending almost restaurant money on fast food places that are mediocre, and oftentimes subpar. This location is always a bitter disappointment every time, from the breakfast sandwiches to the salads. Now don't get me wrong, their customer service is ALWAYS excellent, but the product quality itself misses consistently. So yesterday I used a reward I had received for a replacement salad, because the one I got the other day was full of lettuce hearts and white and yellowing lettuce. Welp, as you can see from the pic, I AGAIN got a salad that was full of the same thing. To charge as much as they do for salads, they need to put actual lettuce in them. This was my first time at a chick fil a and all I have to say is WOW! From the moment we walked in we noticed the calm, clean atmosphere and the gorgeous fresh flowers at the order counter. Juan helped us place our order and was very kind and welcoming. From there we sat down and noticed fresh flowers on every table?! I couldn't believe it. What really pushed our experience over the top was Martin the "dining room host" Martin approached our table and showered us with love and kindness. He politely asked to share his gift of poetry with us and after our interaction he came back with a personalized poem that we will always remember. Thank you so much Martin for spreading joy, kindness, and love to us and the world! Lastly, Joseph came over and checked on our table, cleared our tray for us and even offered to refill our drink. When I complimented him he humbly said "it's the chick fil a way" I finally understand the hype around this place- the service and ambiance were amazing. I have long been a fan of Chick-fil-A! In fact, I've never received a "bad" meal from this or any C-f-A outlet I've either eaten in or ordered takeout. This is the first time I visited this particular C-f-A in a number of years. Not much looked different and its location is superb being by the stadium where the Gulls games are played. On this occasion, I picked up a spicy chicken sandwich with fries and a beverage for my barber! The meal was the cost of my haircut! But I got a taste of it, and even though there's not much on the sandwich itself besides a pickle, the spicy kick, along with some sriracha sauce, made it awesome! The fries were just right too! These waffle fries always are! Another great mark was that the service was AWESOME! Every employee went out of their way to see that I was being helped or asked if I had any questions. I wandered around the store, inside and outside, taking my photos for the day's Yelping! It was funny because while I was outside, the shift runner (unfortunately I've forgotten her name) brought the food outside to me when it was ready. This is a pretty sizable C-f-A restaurant. There are many shops and an arena here, so its size makes sense. Seat spacing is good in my opinion - no table is too close to the next one. Overall, I'm just as happy with this C-f-A as I was years ago when I frequented it more often. It's fast food, but GOOD fast food! I recommend this, just like any C-f-A I've been to to anyone. The word disappointed would be an under statement for the type of service i've received. Dear Customer Care, I'm complaining regarding a pattern of unprofessional & retaliatory behavior exhibited by a mnger Lalo at Store #02014 (San Diego CA). On 10/09/2025, Mnger Lalo denied me a beverage refill despite I had the original receipt. This was the latest of several encounters ,I've been treated w/clear disrespect. The incident occurred w/ the 1st manager. Details of Mnger Sadies Conduct: 2nd Manager sadie demonstrates visibly poor customer service: * visibly showing a reluctance to provide service. The Escalation & Retaliation: When I tried to address the issue directly & politely w/ Manager sadie, I made the following points: * I informed her that her unprofessional behavior is very uncomfortable. * I complimented 2 of her colleagues, Daniel & Miss Lucia, noting they are excellent employees & are the reason I am a frequent, loyal customer at all times of the day. * I offered a sincere apology if I had ever done anything to personally offend her or cause her to treat me poorly. Immediately after I voiced my discomfort & offered compliments to her team, Manager Sadie responded by claiming to the District Mnger, Ms. Zaniya, she "did not feel safe." I was then asked to leave the premises. The claim of feeling unsafe appears as a form of retaliation & attempt to deflect attention from her consistently poor customer service that I complained about. The food is good. The place is spotless. The area is easily accessible. And I don't care. An elderly man was spending his early day in the restaurant. He was thin, frail.... and it looked as though a breeze would knock him over. And though the young workers all hummed along briskly behind the counter with too much to do, they all talked with this man. They gave him more respect than I've seen in the wild of this world in years. Even checking on him now as I type. And I know the type. After ages, he's got nowhere to be. His phone doesn't ring I bet. And far are friends and family gone. And his time here is more important than we know. To just be able to say hi and hear it in return. He deserves more from the world. First time trying the grilled spicy chicken deluxe here and it was amazing! Patty was just the right size for the bun and even that one was so soft and perfect. I got the multi-grain bun and I love those slits on top. Made it look a lot more classy and authentic. Chicken was perfectly cooked and not too spicy. Just the right amount. Took that tomato and cheese out and added some pickles. Definitely a good chick-fil-A order! My husband and I also shared (for the first time) the Sunjoy with half unsweetened iced tea and diet lemonade. Asked for no ice and the entire mug came filled with the drink. I was offered a free chicken biscuit reward today so I redeemed it. I was very hungry and it was very satisfying. It was just the right temperature to eat without burning my mouth so that's a big plus! I added honey to the biscuit which was already lightly buttered and I took my first bite and it was perfect! The biscuit is so flaky and light and it was a perfect amount of chicken to biscuit.
