He just seemed rude and was like huffing and puffing while taking my order and he just seemed like he could be doing anything else but interacting with me. I made 2 separate orders while I was there and requested the orders be for there since I was ordering and eating inside. They brought both of my separate orders out in bags. I had a bad day and didn't have much of an appetite but I ordered curbside pickup anyway and in the "special instructions" I asked for a note which is all I really wanted but you can never go wrong with Chick-Fil-A food. The worst Chick fil A experience ever. I ordered through the app and asked for delivery. I paid for Mac and cheese and didn't get that or the bag that had all the utensils or condiments in. I called the restaurant and was told since I went through delivery on their app, it was door dash that needs to refund my money . Door Dash has no record of the transaction since Chick fil A charged my card. My grandson was so disappointed and we won't order from this location ever...I don't have this issue at our local restaurant....Do better! read more

Ever since Covid this CFA has gone down hill. It seem like there's barely any staff working when only the drive thru is busy. The dining isn't busy at all but regardless whether you dine in or go thru the drive thru expect to wait about 20 minutes+ because they'll make you wait on the curbside too. Order curbside, and it'll be a little faster not gonna lie, but they still lag in my opinion for just a chicken sandwich. But today I got my order of Large And Small Fries. And tell me they don't look identical. Every-time I order large fries they'll throw the sauces on top of the fries to the point that it's been annoying enough to make a post about it. I recently visited with a few friends on Cow Appreciation Day which happens once a year. You get one free entree if you dress up as a cow. My friends and I cut up black spots out of construction paper and tapped them to our white tees! I ordered the chicken nuggets, waffle fries, and an Arnold Palmer. All sooo good! Can't forget the dipping sauces! My favorite are the Chick-fil-a sauce and Polynesian sauce, like a sweeter sweet and sour sauce. I just want to give this CFA a big thank you shout out! Today is March 26, 2020. The only options for eating out during the Covid19 pandemic are drive-through or take out. This location's drive-through is swamped during the best moments, but their staff is really stepping up and doing their level best to make the experience as seamless as possible. There are several employees out in the parking lot with tablet kiosks to take orders and card payments. Domino says WOOF WOOF WOOF to this dang delicious nuggets! It can be crazy getting in to the lot because they are literally next door to In-And-Out Burger. When you get it, the line goes by fast. If you have time, I recommend parking across the street and walking a few feet. It's less stressful. read more

This place is the worst chick fil a I've been to. It's next to an in n out so getting in and out of the drive thru is like being in the Hunger Games. We waited 45 minutes in the most unorganized drive thru I've ever seen. Good luck trying not to get hit by angry drivers. They didn't have chick fil a sauce, we got no receipt or chance to scan our app, and our chicken and fries were undercooked. I'll never go back to this location. Never had a worse food experience at a Chick Fil A ever!!! The service was great, everything ambiance wise was great. But the food was so so bad! This was not my groups normal chick fil a location, and we all felt so sick the rest of the day. The chicken just all tasted different, the fries were soggy, the chick fil a deluxe sandwich tasted especially different. They also told one of us that they charge for drink refills and then when I went over to another employee they did not charge me. I took the boys out for a day at the shooting range and then stopped by Chick-fil-A for a meal. We were greeted nicely and the order was taken quickly. We got our meal and it was just as ordered. The food was delicious and the sauces topped it off. I LOVE THEIR LEMONADE!!! It is so awesome. During the meal, at least two employees came by to make sure we had everything we needed. As we finished our meal, I finished my lemonade. I made my way to the counter for a refill. While waking to the counter, the manger asked me if he could help me with anything. I asked for a refill of the delicious lemonade, so he took my cup and went to refill it. While standing at the counter waiting for my refill (a few seconds), another employee came by and asked "How may I serve you?" Wow, the kindness and courtesy of the Chick-fil-A employees. They really pick quality employees. They train them well and have high expectations. I have never ever been to a Chick-fil-A Restaurant and met a poor employee. Religious views aside, chick fil a is my favorite fast food because their food standard is higher than regular fast food's, it's like gourmet fast-food! (Maybe that's a trend now?) I always get their salads like the crispy chicken or the southwestern. The chicken was always flavorful and tender, greens were fresh, with lots of fresh and crunchy condiments and yummy salad dressing! The spicy chicken sandwich was also very good and don't forget to get the criss cut fries with the chick fil a sauce - addicting! Service was excellent! Whenever there's a long queue for the drive-in, there would be staff walking around taking orders with their tablets to minimize the wait time. Strangely, this was my first Chick-Fil-A experience, and let me tell you...Wow. First of all, to be greeted by name at every stop of the drive through was a really nice touch. The service was really good, and I can see why this place is so popular. I ordered a #1, which is a pretty standard chicken sandwich and waffle fries. I saw on a website, The Ringer, that the waffle fries are the best fast food option ever, so I had to give them a try. I was pleased, but I wouldn't say they are the #1 option of all time. The ketchup packets are awesome though. You can open the packet wide for dipping, or just the top for squirting! Whatever your heart desires! The chicken sandwich was delicious and simple. The chicken was fried to perfection and the pickles gave it just the little boost it needed. My ONE complaint is that the drinks come in styrofoam cups. How are we still doing this? read more

I just received my food FINALLY.. I work in the plaza of chick fil a and placed the order at 1:21pm, and didn't receive my food and coffee for another 20 min. I clocked out for my lunch which is 30 min, therefore I barely got the chance to eat my food in peace. I don't know what's happening with the chick fil a in San Marcos. This is probably the best Chick-fil-A in San Diego. The food is the same as anywhere else, but the service is definitely a cut above the rest. With the greetings and refill service you just don't get this level of service from Fast-Food these days. Hell, sometimes you can't even get that from more expensive sit downs. Cobb Salad. Chopped chicken nuggets over romaine lettuce with red cabbage, carrots, corn, Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses, bacon, diced eggs, and grape tomatoes. While they were pretty generous with the chicken, I thought as a whole it wasn't as good as the Cobb Salad at The Habit. Just so happened that Noodles & Co was closed due to a gas leak so we walked over to grab dinner. So impressed with the spicy chicken sandwich! Delicious!! One of the worst experiences I've had at any fast food restaurant. First, it took ages to get anyone to take my order. Second, after I placed it, the person in front of me got his order wrong and he had to hold up everyone else for an additional 25 minutes until the employees at the window finally told him to park elsewhere so they can give out food for everyone else. Once I got to the front of the drive-through, everyone in the kitchen was frantically scrambling around like headless chickens. No pun intended. I grabbed my bag of food and left. I think I was there for a total of 35-40 min. After I got home, one of the deluxe chicken sandwiches literally had no chicken at all. The entire patty was missing from the sandwich. How in the world do you screw up one of the most ordered items on the menu from a place that literally specializes in chicken sandwiches? I ordered 45 min prior to closing so of course I couldn't simply drive back and request them to fix the order. They also charged me for additional large fries when I only ordered one. These people can't read or do math. How is it possible to employ anyone without these basic skills? It's truly beyond me. This is the last time I am coming here. Unbelievable. read more
