To our disappointment, the truffle flavor of both items were barely there. It was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had! Wow, did I really just say that? Isn't that pretty strong language for a lowly piece of fried poultry? Did I imagine it? The loud crunch, the tender meat, the flavorful crust, on a soft brioche bun with fresh lettuce, pickles and garlic parmesan mayo (sorry "aioli" is too foodie for me to say) made for an epic sandwich. This location is inside the Windmill food hall. The hall was absolutely bustling on the Friday night we visited. Wait time for three burgers and two orders of frings wasn't bad--maybe 10 minutes. We tried the BBQ burger, the Cosmos burger, and the Blue Cheese burger. They were all very good but the BBQ was, by far, the best. It comes with two enormous onion rings, bacon, cheese, and tangy BBQ sauce and your very best snake jaws probably cannot bite this beast. It's an outstanding burger. The Cosmos burger comes with carmelized onions and it's a solid choice. The Blue Cheese burger comes with just a hint of blue cheese and it was undetectable and a disappointment. The burger meat on all three burgers was very well seasoned and delicious. But if you're going to sell a blue cheese burger, put some blue cheese on it, guys. Blue cheese fans love the flavor of blue cheese. You get a very good portion with the frings (onion rings and fries). The onion rings are not greasy and they are very good. The fries were not seasoned and were very average. They were better than In-n-Out fries but that's not saying much. Overall, these burgers are very good. It's the "smash" burger type where the meat is flattened and charred a bit on the edges. That combined with arugula, blue cheese and I think there's sauteed onions in there that make this an outstanding burger. Tots were good too, hot & fresh. Wish there was a non $8 option. I don't need $8 worth of tots. Half portion would be nice. Granted I did ultimately see an option to add fries & a soda to your meal for $3 more (check price on that tho). Ordered the BBQ Chicken Tenders which is PRETTY PRICEY for delivery. $14, but with gratuity, delivery, and tax it is $18.44. The order arrived and was just bbq sauce poured over chicken strips with garnish and pickles. I do give props for the tenders being MASSIVE and filling. Although not really comparable to a nashville hot chicken sandwich, the Hot Chicks was flavorful in a different way - the herb aioli was super creamy and made the whole sandwich come together. The burger patty was juicy and the burger was messy in the best way. Such a delicious burger, only wish I had more room in my stomach to try some of the other ones like their chicken sandwiches! I would say it is a little pricey considering the size, since it doesn't come with any side for $12, and our side of frings was another $8. It's my first time at this location and I thought we would give it a try. There's plenty of parking space and seeing all the different restaurant options here was fun. I loved that you could order food from the app, website, or in person. The vibe is low-key and chill. The service was excellent, the cashier was accommodating, fast, and helpful. The food was good, a tad salty for my taste, but that didn't stop me from eating most of it. I had the aioli on the side because there have been times when it ruined the fries but not this place. It was awesome. My only regret was that I didn't get this on Parmesan Truffle fries. I would love to try the burger next time, it looks amazing and so do the chicken sandwiches.
