Yesterday I knew it would be busy so I ordered through the app, just a fry because I was craving them, 10 minutes before I got there. Used curbeside pick up and had to wait 15-20 minutes for an order of fries while I saw the drive through speed along. I've always loved Chick-fil-A! I've had several birthday parties for my grandson there and not only was the food delicious, but the staff was always so nice, helpful and accommodating. Today, I went with my grandson to simply order chicken sandwiches for the both of us. He got the Spicy Chicken Deluxe meal and I got the Grilled Chicken sandwich. The chicken itself was delicious as always. However, the lettuce on my sandwich was really bad. It had turned brown on a large portion of the lettuce leaf. It was clearly unappealing and I couldn't eat it! I don't understand why that portion of the leaf was not discarded before being placed on a sandwich! Decent Chick Fil A, but I honestly prefer Zaxby's next door. The only thing they have over Zaxby's is they have a playground for the kids which is nice on a rainy day. Lunch is pretty hectic and the staff did struggle to pump out the food timely, they're busy so I feel bad for the employees, but still as a customer you expect fast food to be fast. First, I think its important to point out that regardless of service received at this location (Sanford NC) the food is always good and edible. Unfortunately, including today, every other time I come through the ordering lines outside something is left out of the order. Im choosing not to call and complain/inform via telephone this time due to how often its happening. (4th time in as many months) I'd assume that leaving this review will help assess in tracking how often its really happening and give feedback to the company. I also think that its important to point out that every other time I have had an issue, my name has been taken and said food was ready for me the next time I came through. Just remember the manager you talk to and the round about date the occurrence happened for they will not just take your word on it. We love Chick-Fil-A! The Sanford location definitely needs to add something in front of the registers to separate the ordering line. It gets so ridiculous that the line goes way into the dining room. All the other CFA stores we go to have some sort of way to wrap the line so that doesn't happen. The service is a little slower in Sanford than in other locations, in my opinion and the A/C was broken in the play area last time we went. Not the best location we eat at by far but the only one in Sanford...so we still eat there. read more

This was the first time I had dined at a Chick-fil-a. Being from the North all of my friends from the South have raved about the experience and had encouraged me to give it a go when I had the chance. I stopped by for a late lunch between business meetings and I was blown away at how nice this place was for a fast food restaurant. The place was extremely clean and the people were over the top nice which only enhanced the experience and made me an instant fan. The food was quite good and like liked the tea given I don't drink soda and most tea is less than desirable at fast food restaurants. I heard they have one in Chicago and I now going to have to seek it out and add it to the visit list. I, basically, donated $18 to the Sanford, NC location. They gave me wrong order (which I received in drive thru because I DID NOT want to go inside), charged me for that order (not what I heard on the speaker, and the order I received was $12 or so more expensive), I didn't realize until I had already driven a mile or so down the road. So I proceed to turn around and go back to get this corrected. When I went back to confront them about the order, there was no problem, the cashier told me she was going to refund me for the wrong order and charge me for the original order that I wanted, which makes sense because that's what they are SUPPOSED TO DO.!! So I go home, under the impression, that I would be refunded in a few days (which is no problem, people make mistakes). I checked my bank account 2 days later (which was a Sunday) and saw that I was charged $18 for the WRONG order AND $5 and some change for the CORRECT ORDER!!!!!)! So I go to confront them on Monday about this money that I got shitted. And they COULD NOT have been LESS HELPFUL.!!! The cashier that was, originally, supposed to refund my money was working and had the nerve to tell me that she didn't recall an incident like that happening (they have PLENTY of cameras to justify that I was being COMPLETELY HONEST about the incident that occurred, which they DID NOT even offer to look at when I mentioned that to them). They were VERY CARELESS about me being shitted out of a lot of money (I make $10 an hr so $18 extra is a lot to a broke man like myself), only one manager apologized and said, "without the receipt, there's nothing we can do." I didn't have the receipt because I had no reason to keep it for 3 DAYS!! I assumed that I was refunded and charged the correct amount, so I wasn't concerned about keeping it (I regret not keeping it now). This is the ONLY chick fil a I've ever had a problem with and they should be ashamed how they handled it because they couldn't have been more careless about me being shitted out of my money, A LOT of money.... and the nerve of the cashier to look at me and say she doesn't remember that incident 3 days before really irritated me because she was, OBVIOUSLY, lying to protect herself from being in trouble for shitting a customer $18. The Sanford, NC location is the WORST chick fil a I've ever eaten at, and this sucks because I LOVE chick fil a. We have never had a problem eating here. But the last time we did, I ordered 2 salads, 1 for me, 1 for my husband. Well, when I got home, I ate my salad. As soon as I was done eating it, I got extremely dizzy and threw up my food. I warned my hubs about it and he didn't eat his. I took his salad back the next day and told the manager what happened the night before. Well, he couldn't give me a refund for salad I ate.
