Always good This Chick-fil-A was one of our few go-to places for drive thru food during the pandemic, and we continue to frequent the place mostly for their Market Salad. I haven't written an updated review until now, waiting until I dined inside. A few days ago I finally did go inside, not for a Market Salad but for a breakfast Hash Brown Scramble Bowl. It was good, like all of their food. The name of the bowl almost describes itself, scrambled egg, those deep-fried tater tot kind of hash browns, and a bit of cheese. But this is Chick-fil-A, so there is also chicken available, in my case sliced nuggets. While small, the bowl also has a small price. My order taker did well and my food was ready in just a couple of minutes. In response to some of the other reviews about orders being wrong, that has happened to us more often than it should. They got the bowl right for this review. I would recommend just checking if you are getting a bag of food before you drive off. read more

Placed an order for a friend. Was really disappointed with the recent Chick-fil-A meal. The bread was served cold, which made the sandwich unappealing, and the chicken filet itself was shockingly small--closer to the size of a nugget than an actual filet. I've been to numerous chickfilas especially in the Sarasota area. This one was a terrible experience and very unfortunate. When my family and I went to order through the drive thru it took 30 mins. The man was having trouble putting in the orders and no one was coming to help him. When another women worker came to help she laughed at him and walked away. Unbelievable! The service was very unorganized and unprofessional. Then they forgot a few of our food items! Including two nugget meals. The women did not even apologize and since we had waited 45 minutes in the drive thru we did not wait for the food they had forgotten. Very disappointing. read more

I used to visit this location several times a week. A few weeks ago, I had an issue with my order and called simply to report it, hoping it might help improve service. I asked for nothing--no credit, no replacement. Instead of a quick apology and thanks, two supervisors (already mentioned in other complaints) sarcastically asked if I wanted a job application so I could show them how to prepare the food. Worse, they pulled up my caller ID, stated my name, and even referenced how many points I had in their app--an invasion of privacy that customers should be aware of. After contacting corporate, the owner left one voicemail with no apology and no attempt to understand the concern. When I called back, I was told he is rarely at the store and didn't know when he'd return. I left a message asking for a call back--two weeks later, still no response. Corporate then informed me the store had closed the case as "resolved." There is something seriously wrong at this location. Like others have noted, I will be avoiding it going forward. If this is how they treat customers over the phone, I would not trust the food they are responsible for preparing. read more

This Chick-fil-A location is awful. Service is awful, they always forget things, and the food is always cold like it sits for awhile. Tonight the chicken in all of the meals was dry, overcooked and chewy. We will make sure to always go to the Fruitville location from now on, they never disappoint. I took my family of seven to this Chick-fil-A location on cow appreciation day for breakfast. My five children were so excited. They each created their own "cow" shirts and sang the whole way there. As we walked in, we instantly Felt out of place. There was no warm smiles, no greeting, no compliments to my children Or even mention of the celebration that Chick-fil-A was having that day. Even the manager stood there, giving my family, a dirty look. My children instantly felt awkward and embarrassment. As parents, we tried our best to keep it on a positive note and stay happy, but The staff at this location was making it difficult. In ALL my years of going to Chick-fil-A as a child And then enjoying taking my children as a parent, I have always chosen Chick-fil-A over anywhere else because of how positive they have been and the excellent service. But this was the first time we were treated so terribly. My kids felt so embarrassed that they chose to take their cow inspired shirts off. This truly hurt as a parent. I am so disappointed at this location. There's a list of other issues that we had as well but the main issue was the service we were provided or Should I say lack of service. I have never complained about Chick-fil-A But for the first time I submitted a negative survey on the app AND Via customer service. Instead of a personal accommodation from the owner, we received a generic email Half *** apologizing And offering one free sandwich. Service is always good no matter how busy. The chicken sandwich size is just absolutely pathetic! It used to be so plump and juice and the bun couldn't even hold it. What my wife brought home to me tonight was an absolute disgrace. Thin piece of chicken that barely filled a little over half the bun. Let's start with the food, I tried out the new menu item, Chedder Pretzel Club Orignal, and all i wanna say is that it was phenomenal. The bread was very doughy and tasty. The bacon was also a nice touch. The food was great and left me full but it didn't satisfy me. I could have easily eaten 2 or 3 more chicken sandwiches. Moving onto the service, incredible. I think the cashier that I had was Mumbert or something like that and he was just great. He reminded me of an older brother. The ambiance of the place was decorated with animals like gorillas and elephants and, although feeling out of place at a Chick Fil A, it was a nice touch. I have ate at plenty Chick-fil-A restaurants all over Florida and this was the worst experience ever. Employees were racist and showed no interest in serving me or my family. From the moment we ordered to the moment we left it was nothing but stairs and whispers. Went up for refills with my son two employees walked right past us and didn't stop to ask what we needed until another employee from the back came up. One of our cups fell on the floor, I asked for a new cup for a refill and was told I needed to be charged for a new cup. Will not be visiting ever again. read more

I took my kids to eat here after a soccer game and the nuggets I ordered for my kids were cold and they felt tough. I also ordered a shake and I asked 2 times to the young lady in dining if she could ask for my shake. the first time they were still making it and the second time they handed it to the wrong costumer.... Also one of the lady's in a blue shirt her name is JK she is rude and unprofessional with her staff and complained when I kept asking for my shake!! Went here a few weeks ago around 30 mins before closing and had a fantastic experience. Ate inside, and though the drive thru line was long, it was not busy inside at all- it was very quiet and relaxing. The workers at this location are so polite and have outstanding customer service skills- I was so impressed with how they interacted with their customers- friendly and professional. The place is nearly spotless and you can tell that the staff works as a team as we observed them taking part in the closing duties. Also they are so efficient. Our order was large- we hadn't even finished paying and suddenly our food was ready! Everything was delicious. Will be visiting this location when I am back in town again. read more

My drive through experience was absolutely phenomenal. I was in my 15 passenger van, because I have so many offsprings: Chad, Jared, Penelope, Sam, Jesus, George (my stinky poo), Phlem, and my three beautiful baby triples Gertrud, Angus, and Leslie. My babies were crying so I pulled over to this fine establishment. I automatically knew they wanted my breast milk when I saw their teeny faces. We scurried inside, got some nuggets, and proceeded to feed. They loved it! I grew hungry. A beautiful, angelic, angel sent from God, young lady asked if I needed anything. I just had an issue with my online order. I picked it up in the drive thru, but when I got home I noticed my sandwich didn't have any chicken in it. Also the 5 Polynesian sauces that should've come with my order weren't in the bag. It also didn't have the pickles on it that I asked for but that was the least of my concern since there was no meat. I drove back to the restaurant and I explained what happened. The staff were extremely kind and understanding, and they immediately replaced my entire meal without hesitation. They didn't even have to give me new fries but they did anyway to compensate for the inconvenience, and they also gave me a cookie. They were really busy when I returned, so I felt bad for them because I'm sure they were stressed out. But despite this, they were still extremely professional and very apologetic about the situation. A younger tall blonde guy and a younger blonde girl with glasses were the ones who assisted me and they were nothing but kind and professional. I wish I knew their names. This was a pretty friendly Chick-fil-a establishment. I've never not gone to a Chick-fil-a when it wasn't busy so this location was booming on a Saturday afternoon. Thankfully the lines move fast. The food is always hot and fresh and no matter how complicated my order may be they always tend to get it right. We dined in that afternoon. The staff were very friendly. The condiments section was well stocked. Overall i had a great experience at this location. Can't speak on the drive through. The lines were crazy long. read more

Mixed feelings about this chick-fil-a. As an avid consumer of chick-fil-a's every where I go I love how consistent they are as a company, same polite employees and delicious chicken at each store. I came tonight to try the new Mac and cheese after work and got a spicy chicken sandwich like always. After eating over 100 this is the first I could not eat. The chicken was rubbery and unfortunately inedible. The Mac and cheese how ever was amazing! And my fries were nice and fresh but would have been nice to have some Chick-fil-A sauce with them haha. Worst Chick-fil-A we've ever been to and we are die hard chick-Gil-A fans. We waited 15 mins for one ice tea. We were told to pull ahead to wait for our order the one ice tea while 15 cars got there orders that were behind us. Usually they are very busy but this was not a busy moment. A guy came to our car three times with the wrong order. I called the store while waiting outside and the assistant manager didn't even seem to care and come outside to see what was going on. read more

No matter which location l've stopped at, their service is consistent up north and down south. This drive through was operated by people instead of talking into a mic. There were several different stations with people. An order taker. A cashier. A Delivery person. All were masked, friendly , and efficient. I felt very safe going through this process. They did an awesome job. No one needs to say how good their sandwiches are (I didn't eat one since I'm a vegetarian, but my husband's was awesome) and they gave him a lot of sauces. The Cobb salad was very tasty as well. The only problem with Kale side salad was it was a side salad, it was so good I wish it would've been full size. From someone who doesn't see chain restaurants often, this was a nice change.
