Worst service I've ever gotten from a restaurant. Gave me the wrong order of just one single item 3 times. July 19, at around 9 PM, I asked for a double scoop cake cone and I got it in a cup instead. When I asked one of the employees to correct it properly, they expressed annoyance and then just gave me a separate empty cone. (I guess they expected me to put the ice cream onto the cone myself??) Then I told the manager that I wanted a new Ice cream that was on the cone. The visit started when I walked through the door and a lady working there who at the time was cleaning the door window would not move out of the way. She did the same later when I was walking to my table to get seated. Then, she brought the food, and it came lukewarm. The employees are either overworked or have social anxiety because I said hi to a lady working there but she did not say anything back. My brother & I had to kill 2 hrs time so I recommended Culver's for ice cream. I have never been yet their TV commercials always look good. We both got the blend-in Ice creams. They were soooo good. Nothing like candy car & Oreos blended in with ice cream to cheer us both up. This location was very clean. It is spaced well so your not close by others. We sat outside and the large awning were large enough that we did not get cause in the brief Florida down pour. I hope to come back to try the food on the menu. A very good lunch I had a double patty Cheddar ButterBurger with Bacon sandwich for lunch today and found it to be very good. Using the name ButterBurger really gets my mind in a good place. Interestingly, my burger really had two parts. The first several bites were of a cheesy greasy kind of burger with both the cheese and bacon noticeable. I then hit mustard and ketchup, which were not well distributed, and the burger changed to something akin to Wendy's. At least I thought it was interesting. Anyway, the burger was great, both parts, and so was my side of those signature cheese curds. If you think the bag of curds looks a little lacking in my photo, I was so looking forward to those that I had already sampled some before realizing I still needed a photo. It was very nice of Culver's to bring cheese curds to our part of the world. The restaurant was not overly busy, so I didn't experience any delays. My experience was a smooth one, friendly and problem free, the food delivered to my table in good time. The restaurant was clean. The one thing I didn't like too much was the price, which was a bit north of ten bucks for the burger, cheese curds, and a small drink. read more

We ordered the fish and chips and roast beef sandwich. The establishment was very clean, something you don't always find at fast food restaurants. I have to admit that my visit the other day was pretty disappointing! I specifically stopped in because the electronic sign on Rt. 70 said that it was under "New Management". All of my previous visits were great! Food was cooked perfectly, always very clean and on numerous occasions had the opportunity to meet the owners. Of course when Covid hit, things changed but they still managed to maintain the standards that kept them as a better operation because of their food quality, service and cleanliness that other Quick Service restaurants like Burger King or McD's. So because they advertised that they had new management, I was curious to see how much better they could make the place from where it was. We'll, I could tell you that I was sooooo disappointed! I went in the other night about 7/8pm and was greeted by overflowing trash from the garbage cans, dirty tables and floors. I was there so I ordered my food anyway. The new management or owners DID maintain the food quality but the true new 'management' responsibility of maintaining a clean restaurant, they failed in. Having managed restaurants for almost 30 years, I am a bit more picky and detailed about my observations and can tell you that the "New Management" here obviously does not have the restaurant operating standards that the last management/owners had. Maybe it was a 'one-off' but if you take over an existing restaurant and publicly advertise and bragging that your the "New Sheriff" in town, then you damn well have to run it PERFECTLY, or don't brag that you're NOW in charge. Have probably been to this location at least 40 or 50 times over the past few years or so! Great service and food is done great. Dining room is kept pretty clean. I haven't had one complaint. This was a new location for me, and I had recently been at the Riverview location, so could easily make a comparison. Although their burgers are good, I thought I would try a crispy chicken sandwich. We were the only people in line on a Sunday afternoon, so our order was taken quickly. We both ordered the chicken sandwich with different toppings and fries. We waited 15 minutes for our order and there was nobody else around. They did come out nice and hot, which I love, so they must have just cooked them. Sadly, the toppings weren't correct on one of them, and the sandwich is dry. It needs to have some kind of sauce on it. The French fries are just frozen crinkle fries, so nothing special. read more

This was my first experience at a Culver's. This location is really cool-looking. I love the blue neon lights and colorful shrubbery trim at the entrance. The service was amazing from the jump; the staff answered all my questions about the ice cream. I also like the seating which was mix of booths and high tops for the most part. Seems like an upscale fast food place that you would actually want to stay and eat in. I ended up getting a 1 scoop vanilla with whipped cream and Oreo chunks. The ice cream tastes very milky and natural. Almost like homemade but with only a slight hint of vanilla flavoring. This soft-serve texture is my favorite. Not my favorite ice cream of all time (I prefer Cold Stone) but this will definitely hit the spot when you have a hankering for something cold and sweet. read more

This is the Culver's that made us not want to go to Culver's anymore. We went here after a soccer tournament with the family and friend. The last time we went to a Culver's (not this location) we had less than ideal food. So we were hoping things would be better. So there was a bit of a wait for ordering, and the shorter line was the slowest. great. So the girl was new, and was trying to take our order. with masks, I felt for her as its hard to get everything right. The owner, I think his name was Tom (his badge said owner) came over, and basically told her what to do. She was getting confused from what I was saying, and what he was telling her to do. He told her to tell us that she was new and in training. Sorry, but you don't say that. I've worked in this industry and you don't give that excuse. So anyways, she ended up getting a panic attack once our order was done and had to sit down. When we placed the order, he asked if everything was right on the display. I stated I couldn't see the entire order on the display, just two items. So after a moment of him fumbling, the price listed changed. So I paid. After a bit, the food came. The order was messed up. One burger had no condiments. My wife ordered cheese and the cheese was just a cold piece of cheese thrown on hanging off. My burger? never came. Remember that line about the price changing? Seems my food was removed. I talked to the server and she said sorry. She asked if I wanted to order something else, but since we waited 10 minutes already, I don't think I should have had to wait more for their mistake. SO I told her no, I didn't want anything. At this point, I was expecting a visit soon from the owner, who had come to check on the employee sitting next to us. But no. No visit, no other acknowledgement. Disappointing. The last time we ate at a Culver's, I had ordered sautéed onions and swiss cheese and the cheese was cold and hard and the onions weren't sautéed. We should have gone to CFA instead. I have enjoyed eating at different Culver"s from time to time. This is what I'd call "high end" burgers and they do a great job. This visit they were busy and they have a complex menu board. I ordered a combo burger and my partner did the same thing. I didn't know I needed to state that I wanted lettuce tomato and onions and my burger arrived at the table naked (meat, cheese and bun). This wasn't the smoothest visit to Culvers by any means. I stopped in here on the way to a seminar while in the Lakewood Ranch area hoping to get in and out for a quick lunch. I walked into a line that was roughly 12-15 people deep and only two cashiers were taking orders. It took way too long to get through the line and when I went to place my order for one of their $5 value meals my total somehow came out to $7 and change. I told the cashier about the price on the menu and she said that the total was the way it was because I ordered fries and drink. It's a value meal. It is supposed to come with fries and a drink and even says so on the menu. I clearly didn't get through to her and ended up paying more than I should have just so I could get the hell out of there. The food tasted good, but it was chaos just to order it and receive it. It seems that this entire area is brand new so Culvers will do just fine for now, but when other fast food places pop up Culvers needs to speed the process up and actually honor their deals. read more
