Per the usual, I placed my order ahead of time on the mobile app before showing up. My order was for a jalapeño ranch club sandwich with grilled filet, a cobb salad with grilled nuggets, and a frosted lemonade. I drove over and joined the drive-thru lane to pick up my order. Hands down WORST chick-fil-a I've ever been to. They don't follow simple instructions such as when you pay for pickles on your sandwich (yes they charge) to ACTUALLY put them ON your sandwich. Or toast the freaking bread or sandwiches like you're supposed to. Even when I put toast bread please in the special instructions portion they still didn't do it. First, let me say I am a fan of Chick-fil-a. This review concerns your approach to offering a Military Discount. At most franchises a military discount is offered showing respect for military service, which I and other service members appreciate. Unfortunately, the way the discount was conveyed to me today was not the best approach and may not reflect the intentions of this or other Chick-fil-a franchises. I placed my order and asked if a military discount was offered at the drive through. When I got to the window to pick up my order I was informed that the discount only applies to active duty military members. My military ID is green and my commission from congress has no expiration date. I still have my military look and bearing. I and many others were recalled during Desert Storm and are subject to be recalled for service at any time. Both the guard and reserve military members do not have green ID cards. None the less, they serve one weekend a month and/or when called upon, which for the past 15 years should not be a surprise to anyone who watches the news. It's not about the price. It's about the approach, which implies there's a difference in the some military members service. While probably not your intention, such an approach to offering a discount appears discriminatory and is insulting to every military service member more than you may realize. I highly recommend your approach be changed and that you consider the a different one like the one below: In this case, and especially for those concerned, including your staff and the thousands of other military customers like me, it would be better to only offer a military discount to those military service members who are actually in uniform. Why, you may ask. Well it's simple: First, it reinforces your business image and allows staff to respectfully handle the situation in the future. Second, for future military member/customers, who see no difference in the importance of their service, the recommended approach will indicate they are being treated fairly and appreciated, which is the intended reason for your Military Discount. This was the absolute best experience I've ever had at Chick-fil-a. The staff was above and beyond friendly and kind, walking around and asking if we needed anything and offering refills. The food was warm and fresh, and came out about 2 minutes after we had ordered. We stayed for a couple of hours, but never felt rushed out or unwelcome. James, the manager of care, was always walking around with a smile and making us feel welcome. I can't say enough good things about this place. :) I 100% recommend. read more

It took us 35 minutes to get our food, then it took another 5 minutes to be able to pull out of the drive through. Somebody needs to fix this place ASAP. Well well well. I hadn't done something like this in a while, and I wanted the experience to be STUPENDOUS. Of course...... twas' not! I went through the drive through... as one does. I ordered the grilled chicken nuggets and a large ginger ale. When I was asked if that was all, I said yes, thank you. THIS BOY HAS THE AUDACITY TO NOT SAY MY PLEASURE. I was FUMING!
