I've gone to this location several times and it's been great in the past. I normally never write reviews. However during our recent visit I noticed that one of the women working there only greeted and asked Caucasians if everything was okay and purposely ignored everyone else. She came by our table and only asked how my husband was doing who is white. I also saw that she did the same thing to several other tables. My children and I walked right by her after our meal without any acknowledgement until my white husband walked by and then she said, "thank you sir." This is the most disheartening thing to witness as a mother. This person should not be in the SERVICE industry. That is what left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Great spot to let your kid expel energy, grab good food and relax with great customer service and good food.

Please ensure you tell the cashier, out loud, how much you are handing him/her when paying for your food. Otherwise, you will get short changed and this store doesn't attempt to determine if they really did provide you with the correct change. Talking with the manager will not help because they will lie to your face. I spoke to the manager very calmly and rationally. She became flustered and her story kept changing every time she tried to make an excuse. It's not just about the money, it is about the principle. My total came to $3.49 and I handed over $10.49 at the drive thru window. I received $1.00 back. Even if I handed over $5.49, I should have received $2.00 back. I parked my car, went inside, and spoke with the manager. I explained that I did not receive accurate change back. She wrote down that she owed me $5.00 but I said, no, you owe me $7.00. So she reached into the back somewhere and brought over another $1.00. I said no, I handed over $10.49 so I should have received $7.00 back. She insisted that I was incorrect. If I had handed her $5.00 as she insisted, I should have received $1.51 back, in theory. They were very busy so I offered that she could take my contact info and call me after she did her countdown that night so she could deal with it then. She asked me how late was too late to call and I told her to call any time. She said she would do that but I did not hear from her that night, or any other night. I called five days later and spoke with her again. She told me that her till came out exactly right and there was no short change. If she was correct and I gave her $5.00, then her window till should have been over by $0.51 because she gave me $1.00 in change that day from that till, and a different till should have been short by $1.00 because of what she gave me when I was in the store. I have worked in the food service industry for 7 years and would have never lost a customer over $5.00. When I called her bluff, she changed her story and said she took money from another till to cover the $1.00 that she gave me. I'm confused, the drive thru till was the one that had the imbalance, so why did the $1.00 from a different location affect that till? As I said, this is an issue of principle and I am extremely disappointed in this store. I will NOT be coming to this store again and I will let my family, friends, and colleagues know about the issue. I have suspected that I have previously been short changed by this store but this was the only time I could be 100% certain. I only had two bills in my purse that day, a $20 and a $10. There was no $5 bill anywhere to even use. read more

Service with a smile. Doesn't matter if I'm dining in or driving thru, they are on top of the customer service food chain. Now I know some people swear by the food, I personally think Roy Rogers gold rush sandwiches taste better. But as for the chicken nuggets and breakfast biscuits, that's a whole other story. Try their Polynesian sauce with the nuggets. It's awesome! I have a thing for waffle fries too. As far as the complaints about long lines- I can laugh at that notion. That's when you know that you're doing it right. If you are willing to wait longer for Chick-Fil-A rather than hitting up other restaurants within walking distance, then you can't minus points for the long lines. I am personally annoyed with some cashiers who are still in training. They do not take accountability for the mistakes that they made. For example, I ordered nuggets and french fries yet I was charged with the happy kids meal. I told cashier kindly that I am not sure where the confusion is coming from but please change the order because that is not what I said. He looked lost and confused. I do understand that he is new but he did not even apologize. He was just looking at me weird. So annoying because I always give the trainers benefit of the doubt. Never coming back again. read more

I've been eating Chick-fil-A ever since I was born.. my parents fed me Chick-fil-A when I was a baby. LOYAL Chick-fil-A fan here! This is one of the best Chick-fil-A locations I've ever been to! I live in DC and the closest location to DC is Crystal City but I make trips to this location in Springfield instead whenever I need a Chick-fil-A fix because this location represents the REAL Chick-fil-A. I know the taste very well and their food is very tastyyyy! They always cook their food PERFECTLY. (while the one in Crystal City overcooks the food and apparently does not take care of their oil properly). Their parking is not bad too... even though they share the parking lot with other stores but still not bad! BEST LOCATION IN THE DC AREA! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! :) read more

This is the slowest Child fil a I've ever been to and after living further south for several years, I've been to plenty. It always takes forever no matter what time you go. Check your order when you receive it. Twice, I've had staff run after me, to my car while I'm about to pull off asking to have my order back or asking if I could trade with the woman in the red car. We've been going to this Chick-fil-A since the day it opened. The last couple of months it has been horrible! They usually mitigate the long lines of both the drive-thru and inside, but the last couple of months they have been horrible at it. Inside is just a huge chaotic mess at the front with people both ordering and waiting for orders (both dining in and carrying out). This is the only Chick-fil-A I know of that makes you wait to pick up your orders instead of bringing it to your table. And I know that's how fast food places usually do it, but Chick-fil-A has always been better fast food. It's just really hard when you are a mom with two young kids and you'd rather settle and sit at a table waiting for your food versus wrangling kids amongst lot's of folks who are waiting for their food too. And forget the drive-thru now! The last two times I thought rather than dealing with eating inside with two young kids, I'll just deal with the drive-thru line instead. Twice already I've arrived home to find out they have completely forgot parts of my order!!! It's bad enough that I have to wait almost 20 minutes before I get my food. But to have them completely mess up my order and leave out food twice now is terrible. This new management has done a horrible job of continuing the success of the previous managements work. First I will say I love chick fil a but this location is the worst I've ever been to. They need a serious lesson in customer service. We came here from out of town for a late dinner, there were about 10 people in line and only 1 register taking orders. There were plenty of employees but none were helping. Finally one more order taker comes and when we place our order are told that they are out of chicken noodle soup!? Two hours before closing. We were so frustrated by this time we left. And I don't think we were the only ones. I think there's a management problem. No wonder there aren't many chick fil a restaurants here. read more

After ordering, it is impossible to hear your order back because they reiterate your order so fast you have no time to process what they are saying. With that, I drove home from the drive through to find an entire sandwich missing and another sandwich with hardly any chicken on it, to fill less than half of the chicken. I've had the nuggets, their wafer fries, the chicken sandwiches and even their breakfast burritos. The chicken is moist, tender, flavorful and seasoned just right. I come to this Chick-fil-A every Saturday morning to get a pretty big order for coworkers and myself. This location is the most frustrating fast food place you can go to. Orders are never right, lines take forever, and even when you place a mobile order you're still waiting for about 15 to 20 minutes for it. Also just got back with my order I had to wait for and I am OF COURSE missing food that I paid for. This location outright sucks and I'm so tired of it if it wasn't the only one around I would go elsewhere. When you eat there, I like the fact that they have someone that comes around to pickup your trays and refill your drinks. I don't know of any other fast food place that would do that. This Chick Fil-A was pretty awesome, especially when it first opened! It's a normal fast food place, but what tips me off is the service which was extraordinary because I've never been treated in such a manner before. They have someone waiting in line with you to assist you in getting to the cashier so your order can be taken as quickly as possible. Then the cashier served me with a smile and got my order taken super fast. After I was seated I had two different workers come up to me and ask if everything was great or if I needed anything else.
