    Wild Dill Chicken Sandwich
    Nathan N.

Definitely had a 5* fast food dining experience here! Not going to blow your socks off but it was a decent fast food meal. We ordered an 8pc chicken meal and the new wild dill chicken sandwich, which totaled about $30. The cashier told us it would be a 15 and 5 minute wait respectively, which turned out to be pretty accurate. One might be annoyed at having to wait at a fast food restaurant, but I was happy to know that the food was being cooked fresh for us. The new sandwich has cheese, pickles, and a spicy aioli; it appears to be a competitor to Popeye's chicken sandwich, and it tasted practically identical. I think Popeye's chicken has just a bit more flavor, because this one was almost bland on bites where I only had chicken and bread. The chicken was still VERY fresh and juicy, such to the point that juices were falling out the back of the sandwich. Definitely a solid sandwich for only $7! We don't have many Roy Rogers in the area, but if they all had food and service like this, I'm sure they would be very successful!

I hadn't been here in a minute, and I was with a friend so we thought to come here. Apparently it's the last day of school and the other restaurant that we were considering had a twenty minute wait at 12pm. That's why we came across the street to this fast food restaurant. Strangely, there were hardly any customers in here. We both got the same regular roast beef sandwich combos. The barbeque sauce made all the difference and we had no problems at all consuming everything in short order. This fast food restaurant is tried and tried and I've been coming to their various stores for all of my life, and will definitely continue to do so. There used to be more locations back in the day. Nowadays you need to search them out, and it's definitely worth it in my opinion.

This Roy Rodger's treats you like family. The food shows for the service provided. Always welcoming staff and fresh and tasty food The fruit cup was fresh The Roast Beef Sandwich was cooked so well, I had 2! Disclaimer: hadn't eaten today so this was a great way to break my fast! Had a fasting bloodwork for today and glad I came here as my choice for lunch!!! Love all the staff, the energy, the ambiance, the food. Thank you, Roy Rodgers!! You're the best

Roy Rogers tradition of serving an appealing choice of menu items, made with the best ingredients, and served in a comfortable, enjoyable setting. Great Fried Chicken period. DJ_AZNSAYS: Which day do chickens hate most? Fry-day.

Amazing! It's been awhile since I last had Roy Rogers fried chicken and I'm upset it took me this long to get back! The chicken is so crispy and juicy! Very flavorful and tender pieces of chicken. I can't wait to get the roast beef sandwich next! The establishment itself is also very clean and staff is very friendly. Stop by if you're in that area

Fried chicken is exceptional! But the employees need to learn about manners. Fries are also ok. But the fried chicken is EXCEPTIONAL.

It was fried, but I am not sure if it was chicken. The coating was good. I might try it again later.

I was shocked at how much a large sub was yet I know the quality is always good and better than similar place. We ordered four large subs - two Italian meatballs and two turkey sandwiches. The two sandwiches I ordered for myself were my meals for 3 days. I hardly eat fast food and remember that I last bought footlong Italian meatball sandwiches for $5. The sandwich tasted good like the ones I bought for $5 yet I understand how prices of food has doubled in a year or two. First of all, it is oppressively hot today and it was hot and muggy inside the restaurant. I felt so bad for the employees working. There were only 2 groups dining in and everyone looked miserable with sweat on their faces. It took a little while for our food to be ready, but the girl who gave it to me was very nice. Imagine my surprise, when upon returning home (about 15 min away, so no way was I going to drive back), our sandwiches had nothing on them. It was as if the person manning the toppings station looked at the sandwiches and said, "Naahh." I ordered a turkey sandwich that was supposed to come with provolone, mayo, deli mustard, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, jalapeno peppers, onion, green peppers, oil & vinegar, Italian seasoning, and salt & pepper. I got a couple of clumps of turkey and cheese melted together, 3 slices of banana pepper, and 2 slices of jalapeños. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? It was disgusting and so irritating. I had to basically make my sandwich at home (the mayo on the bread in the picture was added by me at home). For $17?! Get a life. Never again. Firehouse, fix your AC so your employees aren't so hot that they stand around like zombies instead of making sandwiches.

We ordered the half parrillada: argentina and it was a good amount of food for two people. The steak came out medium rare as we asked but it really didn't taste like it had much seasoning. The chorizo was full of flavor though and the milanesa sandwich was surprisingly very good (wish they added a condiment though haha but we asked for mayo). The way everything came together in that sandwich worked really well. The plantains were just okay but the mashed potatoes were SO good and creamy. Maybe the best thing on the menu Service could have been better. After being greeted it took around ten minutes before anyone came back to take our order and our waitress didn't check on the table much during the meal. It felt a little unorganized and we had to go find the waitress and ask for a to go box and the check. Overall there were definitely some standout items With more consistent service and better seasoning on the steak this place could easily be five stars. Here's my ratings!
