But it was a good alternative to an otherwise lengthy and slow moving drive through line today, so my friend and I went inside to order and figured we may as well eat there too. Fix your drive thru. It is super inconvenient and dangerous. That's my problem with this location. My other issues are with all locations. In know you are a religious organization and I guess it's your right to be homophobic but my real gripe is that you are closed on Sundays. I've spent the last 20 years working nights and weekends. Only catering to day people is bad enough. But taking an arbitrary day off is just dumb. Even my Jewish co-workers come in on call to perform surgery on the Sabbath. As this restaurant was closed inside like everything else, I decided to buy a chicken sandwich at the drive thru. There were quite a few cars lined up, and they had a guy placed at the back of the line taking orders. So there was no way to look over the menu when placing your order. Unless you are already familiar with their menu or studied it online first, it was somewhat of a challenge figuring out what to order. In any event, I thought they did a nice job moving the cars through and the chicken sandwich was actually quite tasty. The whole process seemed quite contactless, as it should be. The other day, work was not going the best so I decided to head over to my favorite restaurant Chick-fil-a. I love going to this location because the service and care is always top notch. Today however, two specific team members stood out in their amazing customer service. Jagger and Troy went above and beyond when taking my order, making sure I felt cared for, and making sure I received everything accurately and fast. On top of this FANTASTIC accuracy and speed, I have heard anyone say "my pleasure" with such genuine gusto and hospitality. Not only did I leave with an amazing meal, but I left a life long customer of Chick-fil-a, and knowing that a business really can care about it's customers. 10/10 customer service, congratulations for all of the amazing things that you do, and the amazing training of the team member. I'm not a huge fast food person but when I get those junky cravings the first place on my mind is Chick-fil-A! When I landed back in America after my trip to Mexico I was feeling down on those vacation blues and thought I'd cheer myself up with a guilty pleasure and stop by Chick-Fil-A on my way home to reality. I pulled up to this Ventura location and saw there were cones half in front of the drive thru but cars in the drive thru.. Slightly confused I decided to park and go in. I walked right up to the counter and ordered my spicy chicken and small lemonade frosty. I always love when comedians make the bits about overly kind Chick-Fil-A employees because it is so true and quite comical how kind they are.. but for this visit that was not really the case. The gal working was smiling but with more of a fake smile "can we get this over with" kind of attitude. I finished ordering and asked where the restroom was. On my way to the bathroom I picked up 3 large trash pieces and tossed them plus saw a few tables covered in old food rappers and unattended. I grabbed the bathroom handle but my hand slipped off as it seemed to be covered in grease of some sort. Was I in a LA gas station? The mirror in the bathroom had things smeared on it and paper was scattered in various places. I go back out to grab my food and the guy who was behind me in line says they gave him my food. We figured it all out and the staff working were helpful but they just looked dissatisfied and tired. I grabbed my sauces and left to eat my food on the drive home instead of in shop. I no longer felt comfortable in this shop and really don't have plans to come back to this location. While the sandwich was pretty good I think the restaurant just left a "bad taste in my mouth" so I didn't enjoy the whole experience as much. This location does have a big indoor kiddie playground and a ton of parking options, plus a drive thru option if it's open. It could have been a bad day for this location and I definitely understand that, it didn't totally kill my love for the Chick-Fil-A sandwich, however I will probably not be back to grab one from here anymore. read more

At 915 the app had not updated anything and the food was not delivered. I called the restaurant to get an update from the "delivery manager" who stated oh, yeah we don't have a driver this morning. It would probably be faster if you ordered through door dash. Wow!!! When you received the order at 752 am you didn't know you didn't have a driver. Or at 840 when the order was supposed to be delivered you didn't realize you didn't have a driver. I'm sorry but what exactly are you "managing". Where is the customer service at? How about a call or an update. Don't wait for the customer to call you for an update. Then the guy had the nerve to ask if I wanted to cancel. WTH!!! Of course I do. Except for a team member his name is Andrew wears glasses, absolutely horrible customer service, he is rude not friendly at all. Lacks friendliness at all times, for example we came in recently for lunch it was 10:29 and asked if we can order lunch he said no we asked why if it's already going to be time for the lunch menu, he told us no you must go around that line and wait again, in a very aggressive tone. We then proceeded to take a long time looking at the menu to waste time 1 MINUTE come on. It gets to 10:30 and we get to order lunch. I get they have to keep on make the line move but it was only 1 minute he definitely could've had a better attitude about this I therefore wouldn't have made him wait 1 minute I would've gone back in line. I made an app order. When I arrived I went through the drive through line and they told me they would serve me even though I had made a app order. While I'm in line and move 3 cars up (now 10 vehicles till the window) they tell me I'm going to have to drive through and get out of the car and pick up my order in front of the store. Unfortunately it's extremely busy no where to park and I asked if they can just hand me the order and they refused. I told them I would just like to cancel my order as I don't want to have to get off my vehicle and the girl was like "that's fine". Do you want fast, friendly, and "freshly" made good tasting food? Stop here, drive thru, or take your time and have a chicken sandwich. I ask for extra lettuce (no extra charge, love it!) and I get some waffle fries and their tasty lemonade which is real and really good. Did I mention that they're clean? Even with huge crowds and high volume, the staff are courteous and the management is on top if it. They have a mini playground that is inside the restaurant and it's soundproof. The hand sanitizer is just outside the door to ward the latest virus from wreaking more havoc. And, oh, by the way, just in case you like ketchup, you will notice these special edition packets that look like something James Bond would have on his jet flying into his next mission.
