On a road trip and needed lunch. We spotted this Chick Fil-A and came in. We were greeted immediately and our order was taken. We sat down in a booth, and our food was brought out within a couple minutes. This location was very clean and the largest restaurant in the chain that I have ever been to. There is even an indoor play area for kids! The staff is very friendly and we were checked on several times, and also asked if we would like refills when we were leaving. We had the chicken sandwich and an 8 piece nugget with the Chick-fil-a sauce. The food was great as usual and I love their iced tea. Great lunch and excellent service for a fast food restaurant.

I always come to this location and never had a problem until I started ordering the superfood side. The first time I ordered a large, I was given a small even though I paid for a large. The second time I ordered a large this is what I get. More than half empty salad. This is absolutely ridiculous. This is even after I pulled out of the drive-through line so that they could make more superfood salad. You would have thought I would get the correct order this time but no.

From the street it has a really cool look and the inside leans into an industrial style with a great aesthetic. It's a comfortable space with a nice vibe. We ordered a couple of cocktails: a lemon drop and a Manhattan. Strategically we decided to split a Detroit-style pizza called the Iron Pig. Good call because one square was the perfect amount for dinner. And now we have a few meals to heat up for the next few days. The drinks were excellent and the pizza was outstanding. Great flavor. Our server Ally was welcoming and friendly and top notch on service. It is the middle of winter so we weren't considering outside dining, but they have a great outdoor space near the street. Looks like a fun place to hang out. It's definitely a place we'd consider visiting again.

They don't have server tunnel vision, they work as a team and it shows! The vibes are so cool here. I mean, if you're gonna open a cafe next to a scrap yard, you have to lean in to the theming. I love the vibes, I love the appearance. The food is amazing top to bottom. First, their coffee drinks are always spot hitting, partly due to the fact that they roast their own coffee beans on site. The cocktail menu is always enticing an even though I'm not a huge drinker, I'll be working my way around this. The breakfast options are plenty and if you don't get their bacon you are missing out! The lunch sandwiches are served on a house made ciabatta style bread. Packed with fresh meats, cheeses and veggies. Every ingredient is perfectly seasoned and added delicately, not just items slapped on a roll. The Detroit pizza is what initially drew me in. While they have some options with more toppings, I'd say go for some of the more simple Detroit pies to really allow the famous crust to really shine through. My personal favorite so far is the white pie they do with roasted portobello mushrooms. I have only been for breakfast and lunch but with all the craft beer options I need to go back for dinner to sit and relax with some friends and family!

I wasn't going to post this but if you actually sort reviews and don't just look at the top good…read moreones you'll see a lot of the same. Customer service. Old food. Lack in quality. I've mentioned in previous reviews that this location is not my favorite, I still prefer the Warminster location and that was true until I had gone recently and they moved their bakery. We had spoke to others as well who live closer to doylestown but still go to Warminster because it's just better. Maybe I'll go to Warminster when I'm in a pickle but overall I think I am done with the altomontes store. It's sad to say but this once great small business is falling and I know it will still continue to pull all the doylestown locals with $ to burn. So if you're happy serving lesser quality at exuberant costs to keep this inflated mecca Italian wonderland - so be it. But the heart of this business and the quality that Mike started is no longer. You guys really need to start paying attention to your business and stop trying to keep grow grow growing and doing all of the stuff on social media if you're not going to invest in the business and quality of what you already have. Got overcharged for pasta that literally had prices posted over all the aisles by $1 a box which sure isn't a lot but it adds up. Especially when people are budgeting and buying things by a cost. And if you're doing that to me then how many other people? Just go change your signs if you're increasing costs! They also don't have the same desserts here that they do at their alto cafe which was sad to see. I also don't appreciate how the ordering has changed. As others have mentioned too the deli counter isn't nice and they don't want to cut you fresh items. I also was directed to the pre cut deli case when I just wanted fresh cut meat. I'm just tired of spending my good hard $ at a "small business" that isn't so small any more. And forget about the quality too - I know I've posted before but the quality is not what it used to be. It's obvious they care about the bottom line then making a good product. The specials are aborrhent as others have mentioned - which as I've posted in reviews is especially sad because you see a photo of the product online and get something that doesn't even resemble the item you ordered. Its a shame that all these changes are taking away the quality and what many people loved. Sometimes it's not always best to expand and shift the business to be trendy and social media centric. Sometimes it's better to stay small and true to the original quality rather than being out of touch from the people that have quite literally helped you build your business.

We will definitely give it a weekend try, just in case it was an off night. Tip: I was not a fan of sitting in the half booth tables right by the hostess stand. It was extra dark and it felt more like where you sit while waiting for your actual table. Ask to be seated further in the dining room...it is really cool inside! Big parties can even get seated IN a birdcage!

It reminds me of the good ol' days when businesses/business owners knew the names of their customers. They know their customers' names! I let New Village know ahead of time the big order we would need and once again they delivered. The people loved their lunch from New Village AND although of the10 pies ordered, 3 were (garden) vegetable, not one slice was left and people were upset that they didn't get any and that I didn't order more vegetable pizzas :) Many were amazed at how fresh and plump the vegetables were! Another double date with our foodie friend's pick…read more And wow what a pick! A beautifully decorated (both outside and inside) quaint restaurant, with a visible pizza oven. We shared a literally beautiful antipasto for an appetizer. It boasted fresh mozzarella balls, eggplant, artichokes, sweet red peppers, prosciutto, and olives. We had a good and soft loaf of bread with a yummy olive oil and balsamic dip too. Our meals were ALL tremendous! We had pasta dishes - gnocchi marsala and fettuccine with clams - EXCELLENT! I had plenty of sauce left to dip the soft bread into :) The other couple had octopus (appetizer) and seafood atop squid ink pappardelle pasta. They loved their dishes as well. Of course we didn't have room for dessert, but our chocolate wine and other wines were definitely sufficient. BYOB's are great and money saving. This place is a bit of a haul but I hope to get back in the future !

They serve a delicious homemade bread that's warm when it's brought the table. In addition, it's accompanied by a dish of olive oil, with balsamic vinegar and what I believed to be a spicy dusting of pepper. It was a little too spicy for me - however, I did like the addition of the balsamic as a change from just olive oil. I would skip the pepper though, unless you like spice. We ordered the Polpette as an appetizer; it's a 'tradition' of mine. If meatballs are on the menu, I will always order them. These lamb, veal and beef meatballs were very good, and the marinara sauce they came in was excellent! The sauce is actually a 'roasted pomodoro' gravy - which is an 'intensified' version of a classic Italian sauce. It's made by roasting the tomatoes at a very high heat and almost caramelizing them. A little feta was added to the sauce, which really highlighted those meatballs!! We split the order - as 5 meatballs is quite a large appetizer! We decided to share two entrees - the Beef Short Ribs and the Lobster Ravioli. I always ask if the short ribs are lean - our server responded they were very lean...and they were. Soft, tender and very flavorful large chunks of beef, with a deliciously rich gravy with mushrooms on a bed a creamy garlic mashed potatoes! It was a superb dish! The website said the Short Ribs were the restaurant's most popular meal. Next, the Lobster Ravioli. The dish was a very 'delicate' one, with a very subtle brandy cream sauce. It had chopped jumbo shrimp and peeled cherry tomatoes with the raviolis. While the sauce tasted fine, it needed 'something' - we added pepper which helped. The raviolis were good - we couldn't taste lobster in the cheese of the raviolis - we assumed it was there. The chopped shrimps though provided a nice additional seafood flavor. I like my raviolis tender - the kind that almost melt in your mouth. The pasta here was firmer - a little more 'al dente', but it was fine. We ended our meal with the Chocolate Mousse. Served in a martini glass, the mousse had a velvety texture with a deep dark chocolate flavor. It was very rich yet light and fluffy; a good choice for dessert!

Driving by simply delicious many times on York Rd. I have been curious. Today was the day curiosity finally killed the cat literally and figuratively. When you don't hear anyone talking about an establishment locally, that should tell you something - when I asked others about simply delicious. No one had even heard of it. Come to find out it's been an existence for quite some time. What is basically a glorified coffee shop simply delicious yarns to be a posh café/bakery. In reality it leaves a lot to be desired. From the moment we walked into the unfriendly faces. The semi tableservice, (order at counter and they bring it to you) the overpriced food, and the coffee/tea served in paper cups. This is definitely not a sit down place. More of a grab and go type of joint. The hungry man sandwich was served on brioche "toast" that was dry crumbling, and not at all sufficient to handle the weight of the sandwich. The sandwich itself was assembled haphazardly and lacked any real cohesion in both flavor and texture. The platter special consisted of French toast bacon sausage patties (house made) and eggs your way. Mine were scrambled and were decent enough. The bacon seemed high quality but could have cooked a bit longer. The house made sausage patties were overcooked and tough with more spice than I would have desired. The French toast was well soaked in the egg mixture and more than enough for a serving. Probably ranking high on the list of French toast I've had. However, I don't believe it is a staple of the menu. It was a special of the day. I would only really recommend simply delicious when the yearning for a good scone comes around. Either that if looking for a quiet place to sit and chat with an old friend over a scone and coffee - there isn't much of a crowd so it would be the perfect place to catch up. As for me, and he, not likely to return. Far too many other options locally, that have better ambience, food, prices, and most importantly people who are happy to see you and make you feel welcome.
