On Sunday, I was leading out a meeting in the gymnasium at Huntingdon Valley Christian Academy and needed to provide lunch. I let New Village know ahead of time the big order we would need and once again they delivered. We picked up 10 hot, delicious, and fresh giant pizzas for our gathering and before I knew it there were a few slices left of the plain, a few more of the pineapple, but only one of the tomato pie! The people loved their lunch from New Village AND although of the10 pies ordered, 3 were (garden) vegetable, not one slice was left and people were upset that they didn't get any and that I didn't order more vegetable pizzas :) Many were amazed at how fresh and plump the vegetables were! The group got to taste firsthand what I believe, and that is New Village Pizza is the best in town!

Of course, I had to find out for myself and see if those 4.7 stars was legit instead of living vicariously through the Yelp reviews and pictures. Ordering is pretty easy through their site and I went with a small mushroom, pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese pie along with some wings. Ok, the reviews were correct. The pizza was very good. Pizza is subjective and different flavors are preferred all over, but I think this will hit the spot for any pizza lovers. It was a nice buttery crust but not greasy and so glad there was an even amount of ingredients. At times you get way more of one ingredient than the rest and there is just an imbalance in the flavor like they have an overstock of one ingredient they need to get rid of. The wings were ok but wish they had a bit more kick in the buffalo sauce. When looking at the menu this place has it all. When I say all, I am talking about burgers, grinders (hoagies), pasta, seafood, quesadillas, chicken sandwiches, gyros, and I am sure if you ask for something not on the menu they can hook it up for you. If in the area again I will be partaking on another trip and stopping there again. A solid four stars.

This was my chance, one person in the eatery when I was walking in. Seemed like he was frustrated because the self serve kiosk was not working or he was having problems with it. I went to the other kiosk and started my order since no one came to help him. I got my order in and went to pay and the credit card pin pad was not in a state to accept cards. I started to get frustrated maybe because I was starting to get hangry. The worker came out and I explained to him the machine was not taking my card. He rebooted it and offered to take my order at the main register. I gave him my order but had to repeat several times what I wanted which was a simple 2 mild chicken sliders with fries. I got home(2 mins away) and shared a slider with my daughter and the temperature of the chicken was not hot. We both thought the sandwich was okay. I gave waitress a $20 bill and put Ty's rest on a card. Well her and the manager insisted that $19 should be put on the card bc they are charging 4% for card (which 4% of $14 is like under .50. They both insisted and couldn't show me a breakdown or explain anything at all. I won't return for that reason. Dishonesty is not good business practice, but food is just off the charts AMAZING!!! Sad to cross this one off my list.
