Lines move incredibly slow and the employees don't seem nearly as helpful, friendly, and enthusiastic as what you're accustomed to with Chick fil A. I have visited this location several times and Shantel in the drive thru is the most pleasant, courteous, friendly person I have ever encountered at this restaurant. Here it is hit or miss. One day you could get your whole order in your bag but some days you could be missing half of it. The employees are also hit or miss. Smiles and good attitudes from some and well shitty attitudes and service from others! This chick-fil-a is close to being a good store if they just had happier and friendly employees and took time to really check people's orders. Most of the comments on the problems with this place are correct. I.e. No indoor seating, weird drive thru, etc. What I have been doing is ordering on the app, so that you can walk right up and your food is already ready. It's annoying that it isn't quite as convenient as other locations, but the food still rocks. read more

I actually like this location. It's my go-to in DC. However, today pissed me off. Very nice staff, huge breakfast portions (compared to others). I see the sign at the drive thru that says "you have to request cutlery and sauces". Ok cool. I've never had to ask - they put it in there. But today, I get a breakfast bowl and when I drive a few mins to my destination, I realized there wasn't cutlery. Words can't describe how mad I am because I am starving. My thing is this: 1) I probably should have asked for cutlery despite them always giving them to me. 2) Lady, you heard me order a bowl, this is the time to add the cutlery, right? Here I am sitting in my car eating a breakfast bowl with my hands because I don't want to drive back to chick fil a and unintentionally cuss someone out while asking them for cutlery. Chick-fil-A is known for three things: (1) Great customer service. (2) Speedy service. (3) Good food. In my many experiences with this location, they have CONSISTENTLY failed with delivering speedy service. The waits are uncharacteristically long for the franchise's standards. I thought things would improve over the two months they've been open, but sadly they haven't. It seems to me the staff is not expected to hold to Chick-fil-A's ways, so we as customers simply "get what we get". At 6:18 pm, the entrance drive through design is pretty tough to find. We had hard time finding the entrance. It wasn't until 6:40 pm that we finally ordered and paid for it. I ordered my food & had to wait 45 minutes in the pick-up area. I understand that due to the pandemic things are hectic, but a little customer service goes a long way. The way they have the drive-thru set up is weird but it works for this neighborhood. They also have a walk up window. The line for drive-thru is a typical Chick-fil-A drive-thru line, long! While sitting in the drive-thru I'm noticing that customers that opt to go to their walk up window are getting their food much faster! They did have employees taking our order on their tablets but it did not help the line go faster. At least not at this Chick-fil-A! Food was hot and good when I received it. I'm only taking responsibility for the fact that I didn't check the bag before pulling off. After realizing that my order was wrong, I immediately contacted them and was assured that I could come in the next day to either receive some type of complementary item or refund. When I actually did go in, a different worker Susanna spoke to me with such a disrespectful, undermining tone, that turned me off completely from even coming back to this franchise. I honestly hate to give such negative reviews, but honestly this has to be the worst chick-fil-a location. Chick-fil-a as a franchise is known for their friendliness and superior customer service, and unfortunately this location has neither. With an unkempt store front, a rude staff and uncaring management, this is an embarrassment to the Chick-fil-a name. We live right around the corner, and have been several times, but our last visit will be our last visit. Every time we go, whether at the pickup window or drive thru, our order is wrong, we do not have the right amount of sauces and when we ask for it to be corrected, we are met with huffs and puffs as if we are asking the world. Why would anyone pay chick-fil-a prices for McDonald's service ? Just last time I went their Mobile app crashed and I tried to order in person and they wouldn't apply the mobile offerings even though their app crashed. Writing this review from the drive through. No matter what time of day, the wait at this location is ridiculous. On top of that, they regularly give the wrong or incomplete order. I feel sorry for the neighbors of this location as they must have to deal with the headache of the traffic it causes. It's clear that there's a lack of competition in the area, as the difference in service and quality at this location is night and day compared to other Chick-fil-As. Slow service, rude employees, and dirty location. I have tried both and their only options, 'drive-thru' and 'standing in line'. The order was wrong while driving and after waiting for 40 mins (at a fast food). As for standing in the line, people always frustrated, mumbling and unhappy, my spot in line gets taken due to online orders. Hands down THE WORST Chick-fil-A restaurant that I've ever been to. The service is horrible. Stopping by there this morning was the last straw for me. A number of us were in line well before 10:30 trying to order breakfast. The cashier kept taking 1-2 orders at a time and then trying to fill the order. By the time I got to the window the manager told her that there were no more chicken biscuits (even though there were still 2 people waiting to who had already paid). Instead apologizing or trying to make up for their slow service resulting in us missing breakfast, she simply tells the cashier that we would just have to order something else off the lunch menu. When a menace driver entered the lot from the restricted side, mowed down the aisle separaters breaking a line of 10 cars, and refused to exit the line... MGR Cabrerra ignored patrons waiting orderly & lied to police on behalf of the menace who eventually threatened to run over & BEAT orderly patrons. Two teens stood in front of the menace car to order ahead of the breakers but Cabrerra lies stating kids--who kept their backs turned to the menacing car--surrounded and pounded on the vehicle. This blatant lie was refuted by his own video. Off Possinger was eager to handle victims because Cabrerra lied. This OWNER/manager is a disservice to the community and a blithe to the Chick-A-Filet brand. He NEVER apologizeed to the 2 young students nor me, disabled, who Possinger yelled & terrorized'. I have been coming to this branch for years hoping they will improve. I have called corporate, I have called the restaurant directly but when you call it rings and rings and then ask for you to enter a pin. This should not be considered a Chick-fil-A. There are so many things that Chick-fil-A are known for and this one just doesn't live up to it. They closed it down for a couple months to fix the drive Thur issue where people were literally driving into the rail as they came around the turn. They also added a second window and directions for the walk up customers. These changes while are an improvement, the speed is still way too long. They charge for a cup of water, and today when I asked for extra sauces they said they weren't allowed to give me them and then when I got my order it wasn't even correct. It's been three years and it just not working Chick-fil-A. I will not be visiting this one again. read more

Ok, yes long lines for drive-thru and walk up but after stopping at McD for an ice coffee and waiting just as long if not longer, I can't complain. My order was correct, food was fresh and staff was polite. Polite, even after I wrongly accused them of giving me the wrong salad and questioned the menu descriptions. Good food as expected, okay service, but the grounds were cluttered with debris during the whole drive thru. I saw people going into where the trash is kept to use the bathroom. The concrete needs a serious power washing and the grass and shrubs look like you are hanging out at a low income housing project. read more
