This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with chick-fil-A. The woman working the window is very impatient and hard of hearing. She wants you to not only speak up but to yell at her. I asked for two dressings with my salad. The woman at the window gave me a hard time about not having my salad dressing as if she didn't believe me. What's there to say - it's Chick-Fil-A! Loved the food, especially the waffle fries. The location makes getting in to the drive through a bit wonky (Waze took me to the exit only side so I had to circle the block then make a U turn to get to the entrance). Then when I got my food I asked the manager for ketchup and honey. She only gave me honey. I then asked about the ketchup and she rudely responded "you didn't request ketchup." The food is still what you'd expect from a chick-fil-a but the service and speed is NOT. This is the worst CFA that I've ever been to. The staff is nowhere near as friendly and accommodating as other CFAs. They come off as rude and uninterested in wanting to be of good service. The news of Chick-fil-A coming to east side of D.C was met with excitement and cheers, only for it to turn into disappointment and frustration. I've been to this location over 20 times in 3 months hoping that the experience would improve, and in some cases it has. I understand there's only 1 walk up window and 1 drive thru window. With that design decision, there should of been the understanding that speed is crucial. I noticed a change in me yesterday when I saw a line of cars at 2:30pm. Thursday afternoon, I would of thought that the main lunch rush would of been over (typically is), so I watched and noticed the line wasn't moving and cars were piled in and couldn't escape. No thank you! I was hoping to grab a meal to go and get other things done before I returned to work. I typically take a late lunch break hoping that I can get in and out of the drive thru. I'm going to start eating at some of my old favorite spots. It's sad, that I can talk to any 10 people who lives in DC near this location and I can't get one person to say anything positive of about their experience with this location. I can see some improvements made. Please make some urgent adjustments to keep the brand image strong. I ordered my sandwich and before driving away made sure the box was right - with American cheese and no tomato. Opened it up and even though the box was right, the sandwich had no cheese and extra tomato. But the best part is my boyfriends fried chicken sandwich was fried and then grilled?? Unsure how that happens. He said it tasted pretty good hence the two stars. They never remember straws or sauces and often forget full items you pay for after waiting an hour. This is by far the worst location I have ever visited, and does not fit into the Chick Fil A model at all. The staff is rude and the wait times are insane but the final straw came after waiting 25-30 minutes for my food with only 3 other cars ahead of me. Once at the window, an employee named Dymond was extremely rude when I asked about the reason for the wait. Her exact response was "Well, we can only take one car at a time"... she offered no apology for the long wait, just attitude. When I told her I'd to speak to a manager, she told me that she was the manager and closed the sliding glass door and walked away. Not my favorite location. Went for the first time tonight both lines were incredibly long, walk up window is tiny and unorganized. We witnessed a worker WITHOUT gloves count biscuits then touch the register and throw only one away, I'm pretty sure that's a health code violation or few.
