Worst Chick-Fil-A to go to. It's a walk up or drive through only. The manager asked me several times for the order only to get home and have a wrong order. Couldn't eat the number one because it was spicy, can't eat that, I did try. She didn't add an extra drink. Wow. Terrible! Asked for sauce and I didn't get any in the bag. Had to ask at the door. Terrible. Didn't eat and it's too late to go back. Don't come here. There is low ratings for a reason. This is not your ordinary Chick-Fil-A. Sighs I should have read the reviews before coming. I hate to say this but DC culture and chick fil a culture don't mix. Polar opposites. The franchise should shut this location down. Worst worst worst worst and worst place I've been to.

Don't think I'll ever come here again... my order had missing pieces: no sauce, no granola for my yogurt, and a nugget on a biscuit for my sandwich. This is terrible.

***UPDATE: I originally gave this location a 4 star rating, but after going over 10 times since, I can say it's the slowest, least efficient Chick-fil-A I've been to in the DC Metro area if you go through the walk through. Maybe they will learn a better process, but factor in a longer wait than you'd expect. ___________________________________________________________________________ DC's first drive thru Chick-Fil-A and the closest one to Capitol Hill. They took over the dead years ago Checkers location, flipped it, and now NE DC has chicken. #winning Unlike most other Chick Fil A stores, this one has zero indoor seating. There are a few tables outside. On one side of the store is the drive thru and on the other side is a walk up window for the many DC residents who don't have cars, live nearby or want late night food after bar hopping on H Street. I raise a chicken biscuit to Chick Fil A for mastering the art of marketing. Even though it's still unhealthy fast food, they put it in our minds that it's better than McDonalds. Those waffle fries, that spicy chicken sandwich. Bring on the calories! If you're like me and just can't curb the fried chicken craving, here are a few pro-tips to make it a tad more healthy: -Ask for your sandwich on a wheat bun and no butter. It takes the same and cute out 100+ calories. -Ask for the honey roasted BBQ sauce. It tastes similar to the Chick Fil A sauce but slightly fewer calories. -Go with water every single time. -If you must, ask for mayo light. -Choose Honest Kids for the kids meal. Tastes good and fewer calories. Time will tell if conservative leaning fried chicken will bridge the gap in politics being in a liberal leaning neighborhood, city.

3 whole waffles the rest pieces and not even full - ummmm for all the trouble - bring back the CHECKERS!!!

Came back to give it another chance. Shame on me. A kale crunch... with dry (questionably) washed kale in a bowl. Laughable. Piss poor.

Worst Chick-fil-A ever. They constantly get orders wrong. Lazy workers. Dirty environment . They deliberately leave out condiments.

Thought I would never experience a chick-fil-a with slow and bad service. Hopefully they get better.

We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and it was completely empty. The cook was sitting at one of the tables and the waitress was behind the bar (they don't serve alcohol) hoping someone would come in. There is an upstairs and a downstairs. We did not go downstairs but I'm assuming there are plenty of seats like upstairs. We ordered the hangry breakfast, which came with French toast, eggs and potatoes, the salmon burger and the chicken & waffles. It's a good thing we ordered so much becaus the chicken and waffles only comes with 4 wingettes. We ordered water but were told they were out of ice. Instead my wife ordered a $4 CANNED SODA because that is the only thing they had cold. $4 for a can is insane by the way. Since we were the only ones in the establishment we expected the food to come quickly but that seemed to take 20-25 minutes as well. Our food eventually arrived. The French toast was good. Flavorful but small. Sandwhich bag slices of bread. The potatoes were clearly from the Walmart frozen foot section. The eggs were ok. My wife's waffle was cool however the chicken was BLAND and SEASONLESS. We didn't even finish them. For $18 I expected more. The salmon burger was by far the best thing there. A thick cut of salmon that was flavorful. We should have gotten two of those. The waitress was nice. The food is overpriced. I should have known when we walked in and the place was empty. Not sure how they stay open having brunch without alcohol but to each is own. One and done for me as a neighborhood guy. The food isn't great and the prices are high. No reason to return.

They don't have typical bacon or sausage because "the owners don't eat pork" which really sounds like something more appropriate for their house, and not their restaurant business on Rhode island ave. The "chicken sausage" was a shriveled up piece of chicken paste that they cooked in the microwave. I ordered scrambled eggs, and when they came out, they had that crust that scrambled eggs get when they sit out after being cooked. The grits were lumpy and outside of the cheese sauce they put on the top - had no flavor. The French toast tasted like milk eggs and burnt grill. And the pancakes, were very obviously pre made and microwaved. Additionally - the meal I ordered is listed to come with a bread, eggs, a side and a meat. I asked for bacon, and was told the owners don't eat pork. I asked for the chicken sausage.. 5 minutes later the server asked me if I wanted the sausage spicy or not. Then when she brought the bill, there was a $4 up charge for spicy sausage that she neither told me, nor was it on the menu. And to make matters worse - the sausages were not spicy and were actually just flat out nasty. This is a SAD excuse for a restaurant. I'm sad that I spent calories walking there and dollars eating there.

We ordered: +Baba Ghanouj - was thick and had a smoky flavor; slightly bland, but good with the pita and the falafel +Falafel - which comes with 6 pieces; these were crispy but slightly more on the herb-y side; instead of the tahini, I enjoyed these with the baba ghanouj instead; these came on a bed of lettuce with pickled veggies +a Mixed Kabab Plate - this comes with chicken kebab, kofta kabab, and beef kabab, and served with rice, salad, pickles, sauces, and a choice of a canned drink; definitely a large combo-like meal that can be easily split between 2 people or into two meals; all the meats had a good taste, but I preferred the chicken the best; I also really liked the stewed vegetables, as it was great to eat with the warm pita +a Chicken Shawarma Sandwich - this was a grilled wrap that contained a generous amount of chicken shawarma and pickles; comes with a choice of sauce, which I opted for the garlic sauce; I thought it'd be shaved chicken from a spit and more of thinner slices, but it seemed more chunkier? Smearing some of that garlic sauce on each bite added a nice touch, but I just wished they provided more! We did feel that this place was much better than most Middle Eastern eateries in the DMV area, as it tasted more fresh. I'd be interested in trying their beef shawarma and their hummus next time, if I'm in the area! The process was super easy, as you either order in-person at their kiosk or order ahead on their website - not much way to customize, but there is an option to type in some notes/requests at the end in which the eatery will try to accommodate; cashless payments are accepted at the kiosk, and since you input your mobile number, you'll receive alerts of your order confirmation, the status, as well as when it's ready. Once it's ready, you'll receive a text that gives you a 'button' to click to open one of the parcel lockers that contain your food; if you had already ordered ahead of time via their site and were on your way, you just scan a QR code at a tablet that's mounted by the window to their kitchen and the designated parcel locker will open up. It was neat to see the setup! Note that there's no staff interaction, and whether you are ordering 'in-person' at their kiosk, or picking up an online order, everything is communicated with you via text. Plenty of street parking in the area. +located as part of the Ivy City Food Works' ghost kitchen +online ordering or in-person kiosk ordering available +plenty of street parking

Here's everything we enjoyed and didn't enjoy as much ... + IPA beer-- really delicious $6 + oyster rockefeller-- didn't really taste the oyster and they were tiny + fries--- not crispy enough and could use a little more flavor/salt + lamb chops-- also just ok, small and only had 2 pieces with a small salad +butter lettuce cesar-- meh, nothing to really rave about + smashburger-- 3/5 we were told that the locals rave about their smashburger as one of the best in town buttttt idk about all that lol.
