I went to this place around 1:30am on a month day night technically Tuesday morning, and let me just say I was pleasantly surprised. I was surprised they were still open that late, and I was surprised there was a crowd buying food. I was also surprised that the chicken was good and it tasted like they brined it in buttermilk. The mac & cheese was surprisingly delicious although I wish they would've put some pepper in it, but at least it wasn't soupy. I didn't really care for the collard greens. I think it overcooked a little bit on the top being under the light. I will definitely come back for the chicken. This restaurant is more of a fast casual spot that serves chicken, breakfast, & Mexican plates. I had the best meal here for just arriving to the area. It was exactly what i needed and i went home so happy after eating here. My chicken fajita came out steaming and had all the toppings and sides. The owner went to a heated closed case to get my order (there were 2-3 other orders in there) and he was cool. There is a homeless man out front, directly in your walking path, asking for "a little help". It's 1:30am so I don't know if he is there during the day. My order was ready and so we paid and ordered another Uber/Lyft to take us back to our place (15min away in car and 39min by foot). My daughter suggested Uber Eats next time.
