One negative, as a result of its own success and popularity, is the long wait in the drive-thru lanes. Employees do their best to move cars in and out as efficiently as possible, but regardless, be prepared to wait. The other HUGE negative is that the entry and exit to the property share the same, very tight driveway. This is especially bad when the drive-thru lane extends all the way out to the street, making it extremely challenging for cars trying to leave the parking lot. It can get busy and even with two drive thru lines it gets jammed up. Today was my first time trying a frosted coffee. Needless to say, I will definitely be back for more. It reminded me of a Coffee flavored milk shake. Great experience at this location! When I first pulled into the drive way I wasn't going to stay because the line was wrapped around the corner with two lines formed. But I gave it a shot and went inside. They were great! Everyone was so happy and welcoming. It was very clean and tidy, and everything was fully stocked, even the bathroom was very clean! I also liked the flowers on the table, it added a nice touch! Food was great! It came out SO fast! And the girl at the counter Kaytie was great! I ordered the 8 piece chicken nuggets and large waffle fries (with chick-fil-a sauce). It felt like I was served 7 nuggets. The top right nugg in the pic does not deserve to be considered a nugget. When chick fil a first opened here it was a madhouse. But once they opened the one nearby off of Barranca the crowds have died down and this is one of my go to spots. Service is always quick and have never had an issue picking up food via drive thru or pick up. The manager randomly will send free food once in awhile through the app and hosts events through the year. When you couple that with the Clippers and Ducks giveaways then this is a spot. A big plus is that I take my dog through the drive thru all the time and they are a big fan of her. Good service can go along way and they take the time to brighten the day of folks which I appreciate. 5 stars all around. I love Chick-fil-a, but this location needs to make some improvements. I placed my order through the app to pick up. Although the drive thru lanes were busy, inside wasn't considering it was "lunch rush." When I entered, not one of the THIRTEEN employees behind the counter stretching from the pick up area to the drive up window greeted me or any customers after. I found it so odd that there were so many employees chatting away so I counted to see how many there were. Out of the 13, one was replenishing items, one was filling beverage orders, and two were opening up boxes. Almost all of them were hidden from plain view. Most were hidden off to the side closest to the beverage machines by the drive up window. Delivery service drivers came to pick up orders, but the employees just didn't seem happy. When my order was ready, the employee said she needed to get my beverages. Almost out the door, I realized my order was still incomplete. I returned to speak to a different employee and I felt like she didn't believe me. She said she needed my receipt or order ticket to verify my order. Fair enough. But, when she handed me the missing beverage, she walked off without handing me a straw. So, had to ask another employee. Just unnecessary. I could have easily reached over the counter to get it, but was being polite and asked. So based on my experience, this location is lacking the friendliness I've received from other franchises. Honestly this location is one of the worst I've ever been to. They take forever, no matter what time you come. If your DoorDash comes from this location, they never remember your sauces and the customer service is just not great a lot of really young kids who don't know how to provide service. Not my go-to chicken sandwich, doesn't have the crispy aspect to it. But it's real chicken meat and it's tasty. Don't get the peach milkshake. It's way too sweet. Undrinkable. This Chick Fil A is across from the West Covina Mall, which took over the old Elephant Bar location. Because there was a line through the drive thru (when is there not a line at the drive thru at any Chick Fil A... besides Sundays?), I opted to park and go inside. I was greeted by a few friendly employees when I walked in and on my way to the register. I ended up ordering: Chick Fil A Chicken Sandwich, $4.99 prior to tax- Tasty fried chicken sandwich, can't go wrong with what they are best known for. But their chicken patties are always oily so I have to drain mine on a napkin before I eat it (I know I am in the minority here but I don't mind doing that). I was surprised to see that I only had one pickle under the bun. I think that seems to be the only inconsistent thing from one location to the next because I have seen 3 pickles under my top bun and have also have seen 2 pickles. Anyways, this sandwich was tasty and the bun was buttery (please note that you can ask them to omit the butter on the bun, which I have done at other locations before). ----------------------- (Total= $5.46 after tax) Service was very friendly and am surprised to see that the overall rating for this location (at the time of this review) is 2.5 stars. By the 10th try I finally checked in. I noticed there was an offer for a free cookie. Who doesn't like free? By then my order was already in. I went to the register asking if I could claim the deal. They told me I would have to go back in line for it. There were at least 8 people in line so that not an option. I got my order and left. I discovered they forgot my sauce but I was not going back. This location has completely gone downhill! Before I could trust that everything I ordered would be in the bag. Last week I left home early before work so I could stop by & get breakfast. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, with tater tots & a hot coffee. I didn't check the bag because my order was so small. I drive away & caught the freeway to notice my tater tots were missing. This location is ALWAYS busy!!! It's kinda crazy. They recently sent me a free breakfast sandwich and the free regular sandwich (via the app). So I decided to stop by on the way to work to redeem my free breakfast - there was already a line at 7:20AM. The food is okay. I honestly don't think its worth the long lines. However, I did recently discover their Market Salad (I get it with the grilled chicken cuz its lower in calories) and it's surprisingly very good.
