Cluck2Go in West Covina is located inside the Haven City food hall that opened a few years ago. I've been to this food hall too many times to count but it was my first time having their Hainan Chicken here at this location. I ordered the Hainan Chicken with rice (Dark Meat), for $14.99, which also includes a side of small broth. I went there during dinner time on a Saturday night and the time from ordering to actually receiving the food took around 10 minutes (not bad at all!). I've been to Cluck2Go in Rowland Heights and Arcadia, and the chicken here was actually better than the other two locations. Protein portions were pretty decent and they gave a huge amount of rice. Highly recommended to anyone who stops by Haven City. However, due to the issue of needing to locate a parking spot, I probably would go to a location where they have their own stand alone restaurant. read more

Solid spot for reliable Hainan chicken! This location is within the food court (Haven City Market) with plenty of parking and dessert options. The sauces are very delicious (ginger chili sauce, ginger scallion sauce) and the chicken was very soft for the dark meat (chicken thigh). The white meat was soft for what it could be as well. The Hainan chicken lunch came with pickled vegetables, rice, and chicken soup. I loved the combo and loved the value of the meal. Overall, the sauce was amazing and I personally thing it's one of the most important things for Hainan chicken and it did not disappoint! read more

Reliable Hainese chicken place. The portions are great, but the rice and soup lack the depth of flavor you come to expect from the typical Singaporean chicken rice dish. Service is efficient. Haven is a great food court and this is definitely a go-to, especially if you don't want a meal that's too rich or heavy. read more

I found a solid Hainan chicken spot right in the Haven City food court in West Covina. I tried the dark meat and it was super moist and tender. Comparing it to Savoy, the chicken is pretty close, maybe Savoy is slightly better, but the rice here is actually superior. It's nice and dry but still packed with that chicken broth flavor. The ginger sauce is really salty and flavorful, though they don't give you much, so you'll probably want to ask for extra. The red sauce is just okay. Savoy definitely wins on that part. It didn't come with any soy sauce, but they might have some if you ask. In my opinion, this place is better than Ipoh Kopitiam and honestly gets very close to Savoy. It's a great option if you're in the area and don't feel like driving all the way out to the SGV. read more

Omg soooo happy to find a legit Hainan Chicken Rice finally. This food stand is inside the new Haven City food court. Our first time here. We ordered their classic Hainan Chicken Rice with dark meat. It came with 3 yummy sauces to dip your Hainan Chicken in. The chicken was delicious and just perfect! Their rice is infused with chicken soup but it was just ok. I have seen various cluck 2 go places around SGV and I do enjoy the chicken and rice especially the picked veggies. Since it's a chain restaurant I assumed the quality is consistent which is sort of correct. They have the same decor and color scheme their counter was quite clean the day we went. The dark meat combo is $15 and comes with the two sauces in a neatly packed bento box. It was actually warm and the soup is still plain chicken broth. The rice is tightly packed and the veggies were crispy and sour as usual (yum). It wasn't a bad experience and service was quite quick. read more

Cluck2Go is a franchise nestled inside the Haven City Market in West Covina, and it offers great value. The portions are big, and the pricing is very reasonable for the quality you get. I highly recommend their Hainan Chicken Rice, it's their most popular dish for a reason! I recommend the dark meat (leg and thigh), and for sides I like the garlic fried peanuts. The dish comes with: chicken broth, pickled vegetables, sauces (ginger scallion and red ginger chili) that pair perfectly with the chicken. Since the signature chicken is poached, this feels like a genuinely healthy and satisfying meal. (If you're craving something else, they also offer fried chicken!) The only slight drawback is the ordering process: you pay at the cashier, but they don't provide a buzzer, so you have to stay close to the pickup area while waiting for your food. Love love Cluck 2 Go. My favorite things on the menu are the salt and pepper wings and th hainan chicken rice. Their sauces for the hainan chicken are so so good. My family loooves the salt and pepper wings here, they always come out so hot and fresh. I wish that Cluck 2 Go had an order beeper like other stands in Haven City market, you kind of just have to linger around until its done. They also often run out of the salt and pepper wings sooo hopefully they have them if you visit because they are so good. read more

Cluck2Go is always a hit in my books, and this location is a great addition to the Haven City Market. My gf and I always get the combo, because the portions are always amazing. Definitely perfect for 2 really hungry people, or 3 average eaters. My favorite sauce is the ginger green onion. The cucumbers that they have are also a refreshing and crunchy that pairs well with the chicken. Parking is atrocious btw, soooooo be warned. Food also came out a little slower than other locations that I've been too, but quality is the same. read more

This Cluck2Go is located in Haven City in West Covina. It's a food stand that specializes in Hainan chicken rice. After ordering, you'll have to sit nearby to hear them call out your order. They don't give the buzzers for you to walk, but the workers did say it takes around 10 minutes for the order to be ready. I ordered the hainan chicken rice. It came with a generous portion of chicken with no bones (which I appreciate). The chicken is a bit tasteless and the two sauces they provide were not enough. The rice was good and flavorful. It also came with some pickled spicy vegetables. This meal also came with chicken broth soup. It wasn't seasoned very well and tasted like water at first. As it cooled down, I started tasting the flavor more. There wasn't much of an ambiance, since it's a food stand. You order where you pick up. Overall, this Cluck2Go location had fair prices, good portions, and friendly service. Although the food could be seasoned more, it was worth trying. read more

Of course I ordered their Hainan Chicken rice, and I usually order with dark meat only. Their price is super reasonable and portions are very generous in today's economy. My family really love their Hainan Chicken rice here. It can be shared by two people if you are a small eater like myself. The dark meat is very tender and their sauce is very good. I like their sweet soy sauce a lot. Their service is quick and efficient. This particular location is my favorite. It was both juicy and flavorful. I really enjoyed their chicken rice, it had great flavor. I was meh on the pickled veg. Cluck2Go has a new location in Haven City Market. This is my second time to stop by this place. The line was long as any other restaurant in the Market. I ordered Hainan Ck Rice. The order included Hainan Chicken with the choice of either dark, white or mixed chicken, served with side of chicken rice, red sauce, green sauce, small side of pickled and small soup. Ordered on 1/24/25 for lunch. There was a decent line, but service was quick. I got my food after 10 minutes. I ordered the fried Hainan chicken. The chicken was delicious! Some pieces were a little dry, but the seasoning made it tasty. I just dipped it with the sweet chili sauce. The rice was just okay, nothing special. I liked the chicken broth that was served. My daughters and I came to Haven City Market West Covina on Grand Opening Day. We wanted to try Cluck2Go. They are known for their famous Hainan chicken rice. OMG... chicken was so moist and delicious! It was boneless and there were lots of chicken. I can tell the rice was cooked in chicken broth. It was very flavorful. I would highly recommend for everyone to try their Hainan chicken rice. You may get their original steamed or fried version. I have tried both and they are both good. Price is so reasonable for the portions. I've also tried their Chinese sweet buns. It comes with condense milk. It was quite fluffy on the inside and slightly crunchy on the outside. When topped with the condense milk, it's heaven! Must try, too. Staff are super friendly. Restaurant front is adequate. Service is good and timely. I will be back for more delicious chicken rice and buns. From what I was informed, they do have other locations. Depending on which locations, they have more food options than what is offered at this location. read more

After my last experience, I specifically reminded the cashier to include all sauces - yet once again, no soy sauce was given. I don't understand how the problem is still prominent after Yelpers had first brought it up in October 2024. Food tasted good, but I lowered another star for the bad business practices. read more

I have tried the pasadena and Arcadia location and got the haninan chicken and it was the same quality I had at Arcadia. It came with a bowl of chicken broth, pickled veggies and the green and orange sauce. The chicken and the rice tasted cold and not fresh fresh. When I get it from the Arcadia location, everything is piping hot! yum yum! read more

I usually go to the pasadena location where the service is amazing and the food comes out popping hot. At this location, the food came out lukewarm and the person at the register wasn't friendly at all. I'll give it another shot a few months from now, hopefully they fix the kinks and have better customer service, rather than saying...what do you want as their first interaction. There was no one else in line but me, so be happy that someone wanted to buy food from your food stall. read more

Yes, I can easily go to their other locations, but when you're in Haven city market already fighting for parking spots at 11:30am, why not? Always delicious! I Ask them for extra ginger scallion sauce, they didn't charge me, Yay! The red chili sauce is awesome too! Though they forgot my sweet soy. Sad. Tried the Chinese bun for the first time. Omg where have I been?! These are highly addicting. Comes with condensed milk for dipping. A crispy exterior with warm, fluffy, doughy inside. Cluck2go is a mid-tier when you're in the mood for hainan chicken rice. The menu is simple - dark or white chicken with rice. I couldn't decided between the two so I got the half dark and half white chicken. The ambiance is nothing to rave about - just a kiosk so you can pay and get your order. There was a short line while waiting to pick up my order - roughly about 10 mins. After eating so many hainan chicken rice in my life, the food here is subpar at best. Chicken was marinated well but a bit on the tougher side. At least you have a free soup to wash it down :) read more

Came to the New Haven market for dinner with a friend and decided I wanted to get hainan chicken. I got the dark meat only hainan chicken. The chicken was juicy and came a good amount. I shared the plate with my friend along with other food and we still had left over chicken! It came with a side of soup as well. Their sauces pair well with the chicken! So far, the best Hainan Chicken I've had. I typically order the half chicken non-combo and the fried chicken. Everytime has been consistent. I have not experienced any dryness in there chicken, yet. The staff is always friendly, courteous and helpful. The new Cluck2Go location in the brand new Haven City Market, at West Covina, is more convenient for me as I like to pickup to-go orders on the way home from work. I hope they have much success at this new location; I don't want to go out of my way to pick up my Hainan chicken at the Arcadia location. read more

On Grand Opening Day, my daughter and I tried to order items from at least three places. This was one of the three. Although we only got one item to compliment our orders from a couple other places, I would definitely recommend this place and will be back to try other items here in the near future. Of course this place is new, so it is very clean here and the surrounding stores. Ordering here was really easy and decently quick because it was one of the two places right next to each other that my daughter ordered at and we were pretty close to two of the first 10 people or so that entered the building after it finally opened. The person at the cashier was really nice. Ok... so we only ordered the honey garlic wings. But we are suckers for wings. They tasted so good, so of course we are hooked here just off of this. So I've never had Singaporean chicken I saw the fried chicken so that's what I got. It came with a decent amount of chicken the skin was crispy but could have been crispier.Im not sure because the steam from the container makes it a little less crispy. It comes with 2 scoop full of jasmine rice with a side of chicken broth and what seems like steamed veggies which I didn't care for. The sweet chili sauce was good but the two sauces both green and red smelled like ginger which I'm not a fan of. Also could someone explain to me what I'm supposed to do with the broth? I didnt want to dip the chicken in it cause the skin would get soggy and so maybe you pour it over the rice who knows ha. The service was quick you order on a kiosk and I had a question about the sauces but the lady at the front didn't know if the sauce was spicy. The ambiance of the place is it's located inside haven city market so there are tons of places to try so it does get busy and there are tons of outside and inside seating.Overall 15 dollars for some chicken and rice isn't really great look elsewhere there are better options and side note the chicken broth had no flavor just tasted like water read more

Been to their other locations so I was excited to see it inside the Haven City marketplace. The worker was polite. Got the regular Hainan chicken - dark meat only. The portion is pretty big and they pack the container with rice and chicken. Both had great flavor and comes with a few dipping sauces. I'm not a fan of ginger so I didn't like either sauce but my husband enjoyed both. The meal also comes with a pickled salad and a side of broth. read more

The chicken itself was incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly. The garlic rice was another standout! Fragrant, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The plate also came with a small cup of broth, which was a nice complement to the meal, although it was a little mild for my personal taste. The only downside for us was the portion balance. A large portion of the plate is filled with raw cabbage, which makes the dish appear bigger than it actually is. While the rice portion was good, the protein felt a bit limited. We're also not big fans of plain raw cabbage, so we ended up leaving all of it behind. If it had been seasoned or lightly blanched, it might have felt more like a thoughtful side rather than filler. That said, the flavor of the chicken and the rice alone would bring me back. If you're looking for something quick and tasty, this is definitely a great stop. But if you're coming in absolutely starving, the portion-to-price ratio might leave you wishing for a bit more.
