I like Jersey Miles's sandwiches, the freshness and quality is always there . Today I walked into this location for the first time and was greeted by a young man by the name of Josiah. He was very friendly . I knew we were going to have a good sandwich maker right then and there . He was very thorough and making sure we got everything we ordered . The part that stood out to me was, that he was super clean , making sure his work space was clean and presentable for his customers. That makes such a difference . Especially with cross contamination. In my option Josiah is the best sandwich maker I have seen in heresy Mikes . I go back because of experiences like this . Since it was a warm day, a cold sub sounded perfect. I picked up a giant Club Sub for him and his mom to share, and got a bowl for myself. As usual, it did not disappoint. Everything was exactly as expected--tasty, well-portioned, and sauced just right to bring out the flavors without overwhelming the ingredients. One of the biggest issues with takeout subs is the balance--too soggy or too dry. This one was spot on. The bread held up great, the fillings were fresh, and the flavor was perfect. Yes, this might be considered fast food, but it is awesome! I am not a a huge fan of sandwiches unless they are Jersey Mike's. This is a new location in West Covina and when I heard about it I was anxious to give it a try. Like in all Jersey Mike's delis, all meats and cheeses are sliced fresh and sandwiches are made to order according to your specifications. I ordered the #13, classic Italian and it was delicious. The preparation was perfect and expedite and service was very good. The store was clean and all employees were polite. What else can you wish for? Honestly I'm annoyed that I forgot to take a picture of my sandwich but if you've had these before - they usually come out looking the same lol. This is a fairly new location so everything is super clean and brand new. They had a large staff due to the fact that people are still training so it did take a while for us to order our food and get our food but that's a given and totally understandable. I came in 5 minutes before closing which I really hate to do. But my family was at the hospital near by and we needed to eat. I ordered 6 sandwiches which after eating I could say were delicious. The main reason for the review though is the outstanding customer service I received. Even though I was a last minute customer they were so attentive as though they just started their day. Update: it has been now over 3 weeks. I have spoken several times to corporate and they said the restaurant owners have even stopped responding to them. I have yet to be contacted. It's sad that franchise owners like this ruin a brand. I will not be eating at any of these locations again. Update: even contacting corporate was ignored. They said they contacted the store franchise owners and it's up to each individual owner to reconcile issues. It's really sad that corporate allows stores to sell trash and rip off consumers. Don't spend your money here. $70 down the drain. The $28 giant sandwich I ordered made completely wrong and missing half of the meat that I paid extra for! The giant chicken sandwich I ordered basically had meat and cheese and no add ons. Even though, Raquel, the manager, confirmed that the toppings were suppose to be red onions, lettuce, tomato and it was to be on white bread not wheat. But then she yelled at me that she isn't responsible for the orders being incorrect and that she doesn't personally fill the orders. I will be filing with my credit card company. On July 3, 2024 at 12:30pm, I ordered 2 mini Italian sandwich. The girl slicing with meat was doing a great job until the chubby Hispanic with black hair lady walked next to the girl slicing the meat. The chubby lady removed meat that the girl has placed on the sandwich. I couldn't believe my eye. The chubby lady just handled cash and without removing her gloves, she touched my sandwiches. That's not sanitary! Why would you remove meat that has been placed on the sandwich? It was such a turnoff. Both of the sandwiches barely had much meat in it.
