I'm partial to In-N-Out, but this specific location is special to me as it's closest to where I grew up. They've done a fantastic job with the renovations. The drive-thru is much easier to deal with, and it's not awkwardly placed to cause on-street traffic. As usual, their burgers are amazing. Tomatoes taste like tomatoes. Lettuce is crisp. Buns are toasted nicely and the rest of the burger is delicious. Can't really find a reason to dislike this place. Great food. Great service. I'll keep coming back to it as much as I can! read more

Came here last night with my hubby for a late-night dessert run, and we ended up getting two milkshakes! They were super yummy. I got the chocolate and vanilla mix, and he tried the strawberry shake. Both were delicious and hit the spot. We also ordered a side of fries, and my only complaint was that they were really salty. Unfortunately, we got everything to-go, so I wasn't able to ask for a replacement or have them fix it. Other than that, everything was great! I have been to the la puente location and have had horrible service and taste. I called corporate to complain because my order at la puente has been consistently disappointing. They gave me two vouchers to return which I knew not to go to the la puente one I came to this one and am so happy I will continue to return here. Service is amazing. So clean! Took 20+ minutes just for an order of Animal Style fries and by the time we got it the cheese has already semi-solidified. This is one of the locations without indoor seating, mainly functioning as a drive thru, but there's a curved ledge to sit out at the front of the ordering and pick up area and there's some picnic tables and umbrellas in the back. There is a restroom but you have to ask for the security code from a worker. The microphone to announce the orders is really outdated and is jumbled and cuts out in the middle of the announcement so make sure to sit close. I'm sure its better on different nights, but on a busier nights, I recommend going to one with a restaurant section if you're not in a car. read more

Just finished having In n Out, and 4 years later nothing has changed. This is still now go to In n Out. I love the way it looks now. and the drive thru is so much better! It was a great idea to rebuild it this way. The employees are always nice and quick. Of course at time they mess up their human. But always willing to fix their mistakes. The food is always fresh! They are constantly cleaning the seating area outside making sure it's clean. Unfortunately they are outdoor seating. But I always take my food home to eat. What happened to this location, it's my family's local in-n-Out, I order my daughter the same thing every time. Grilled cheese plain. One slice of cheese only, when they confirmed my order at the window they didn't say one sliced, so I asked about it. The kid said it's already made, would you mind taking it like that. well it's fine ive been here three times and i was disappointed this last visit. i can't usually eat their burgers due to a health condition, so when i do have them i would want them to at least be cooked :/ they served me some raw burgers. i was upset and starving so i did eat it and thankfully didn't get sick. ive taken culinary before. we learned that ground beef needs to be cooked well done. on a steak, just the outsides are fine. this is due to e. coli from meat processing. in ground beef the outside of the cut mixes internally making e. coli possible throughout the patty. this is meant to scare you. this is a health hazard. this last visit was bad overall, when ordering at the drive thru, they were rushing me for no reason. it was so slow that i ordered at the loud speaker instead of with a team member standing in the drive thru. they kept asking me if i wanted a drink after every item, and then when i asked for a moment to think, they asked me two more times. that was so strange! maybe there was something in the air and i went on a bad night but nothing was hitting the mark. to be honest, they have been good the other times i went and were much more busy as well. maybe skip it if there's no line. read more

Wow, I have been coming to this In and Out burger for years and years and years. I used to live in West Covina, and I worked across the street from the Daily Tribune many years ago. Wed all come here for lunch on our breaks most of the time, since they were across the street. Anyways, we stopped here recently for some lunch since I was in the neighborhood. Have to stand outside and order your food here. It's one of the locations as to where you cant eat inside, we had to eat outside. What's new. Two windows for walk up order now. One to order other to pick up. Two drive thru lanes to order. New entrance for the drive thru as well on Orange instead of San Bernardino rd. Great new picnic benches to enjoy your meal. Two restrooms for the customers as well. Of course the burgers are always on point. "That's what a hamburger is all about" right? Fast drive thru location. There is an outside walk-up order counter and outside seating for those who don't want to do drive thru. The only con was that the fries were too salty.
