I visited December 18, 2018. I went with 4 colleagues from work. Everyone ordered, however I did not receive my meal for literally 12 minutes after my entire party. They were nearly finished with their meals. Apparently, my order was "simply lost." I waited for 12 minutes, while my coworkers happily ate. Also as a direct result, I was late back to work. I visit Chick-Fil-A by my home in Deerfield Beach twice a week. They are always flawless. I go here once & it flops! In fairness, they did apologize. Normally I wouldn't care so much, but I was with new coworkers & just felt awkward while waiting. I also hold Chick-Fil-A to high standards. They should have offered me a free meal for this highly uncomfortable situation. I would have spoken to a Manager, but I didn't want to draw more attention with my newer coworkers. I ordered ONE drink. Should've been easy, right? I get there and get in my designated curbside pickup spot. Soon, my app alerts me that my order is ready and will be taken out to me shortly. I wait. And wait. And wait. People who came after me are getting their orders. I think to myself, they're obviously very busy, they'll be out here in no time. I wait. 20 minutes go by and I start to get angry. It has now begun pouring rain, so bad that there is a flood warning. It's ONE DRINK!! What is taking so long!! Our delivery order was incorrect to our workplace. I tried to call right away to get the order corrected, but between 12-2 this restaurant does not receive phone calls. I called after 2 (that's what time they resume taking calls) and spoke to a team member, but his resolution was for me to come pick up the correct order. I was at work for a 12 hour shift and could not leave. I was expecting for a refund on the incorrect order at the very least, but the only resolution was for me to come and pick it up. I can tell you why Chick-Fil-A is so popular. I am sure you think it's the cow commercials right? Well they are cute but it's more than commercials. It is the fact they have the special sauce. No not the Big Mac sauce, it is knowing how to run the business. The stores are clean the the employees are always smiling, well spoken and put together. I don't know how they do it but they hire very well. Oh and by the way, the food is consistently good. I love the breakfast biscuits. I travel for business and always visit this location for dinner. I've never had a bad experience here. The staff is very professional, friendly, efficient, and effective in the drive through line. This location is probably the quickest in south FL. If you need a receipt for business expense purposes, make sure to ask because they don't automatically give them to you (at least in all my visits here). No big! Very impressed! Easily the worst Chick-fil-A I've ever been to. We only keep going because we still love the food and it's close to our house. Every time we go something gets forgotten or messed up. We've gotten home to find out an order is not even close to what we ordered or orders that clearly weren't ours. We've came home to sandwiches without chicken somehow?? They almost never remember sauce and if you attempt to get extra they act like you've asked for their first born child. We've gotten 12 count nuggets with only 9-10 nuggets. We've gotten fries that the container is only half full or it looks full because they put one huge fry in there.
