Cheese Bacon, Egg, & Cheddar Biscuit

How did I not find The Biscuit Lady before now? I could not believe my eyes when I saw the year-round spooky decor and the monthly themed menus: wow! And a women-owned business? Sign me up. I ordered the bacon egg and cheddar on a biscuit- and the biscuit was sooooo good, plus such a great sandwich in general. A very large sandwich which I could not actually finish in one sitting for lunch, but the leftovers were delicious later on... even cold. Yes, it was good enough not to even warm up again. The menus for the non-monthly items are different across ordering apps, which made this difficult to coordinate when ordering for others, so double check the ordering app first against whatever is posted in other places. I did order a biscuit crumbled key lime thingy that sounded amazing and was huge and very shareable looking, but in the end I got a message that it had been subbed with an apple pie, so I didn't try it. Wish I had just ordered their popular banana pudding but was unsure of the portion size or shareability of it. Love the various drink options, super fun and not the normal thing. A great, menu, can't wait to go in person and see their next themed menu!

We stopped this morning on a whim as we were traveling back home. It is located in a warehouse facility but do not let looks fool you this crew means business. They have a cool Halloween theme. This is a pick up style order (not a dine in establishment). When you go in you can see them working away in the kitchen. You may have to pop your head in and let them know you are there and they will promptly attend to you. We ordered the breakfast biscuit. When I tell you it is the best biscuit I have ever had I mean that. It was biscuit perfection. They also know how to do eggs right and you get two sausage Pattie's on the breakfast sandwich. No skimping in food here. We could have split one biscuit instead of ordering two BUT I enjoyed trying to finish the whole thing. If you have not tried this place you are seriously missing out. They have a huge selection of options.

Ok, Bacon Ra... I understand the message... loud and clear. I need to buy a 16-foot skeleton to appease my wife.

To call The Biscuit Lady's Bakehouse a hidden gem is an understatement. To find this place is to love this place; between knowing which hidden driveway of one of the industrial plazas to turn on Old Okeechobee Road and discovering the delicious breakfast sandwiches produced from scratch that you can order within the goth-like and Halloween interior. Make sure you follow the directions and the map to find them because they are a little tricky to find the first time you go to visit. Afterward, once you know, then you know. The Biscuit Lady has two industrial spaces in this warehouse: one for the kitchen where they bake and cook everything and one for the where you can order and pay. I love the spooky interior, decorated with various gothic knickknacks, with the 12-foot skeleton and the T-Rex dinosaur looming over the room when you walk inside after you're greeted with spooky Halloween organ music when you open the door. The two skeletons holding up a casket by the front is also a nice touch as well. They have a myriad of breakfast specials with freshly made biscuits and waffles that are produced in the bakery that you can see through the double doors. Additionally, they have a variety of breakfast, drink, lunch, and dessert specials named after female comic book and horror characters. For my money on the first visit, I ordered the Beast, which was a colossal biscuit breakfast sandwich stuffed with a frittata smothered in melted cheddar cheese with a double dose of bacon (normally comes with sausage and bacon, but I customized my order), and a side of sausage gravy. This breakfast sandwich eats other breakfast sandwiches. The freshly made biscuits they produce are absolutely phenomenal. Moreover, I washed it down with a cold brew that brought me to a place of spiritual purity and promise; promise and spiritual purity. I picked up their Lizzy Borden cookie, which is a monster of a dessert well stuffed with Boston crème. Again, everything was absolutely magical. I applaud The Biscuit Lady for her absolute greatness in making fresh biscuits on sight in addition to her other delightful baked delights on-site. I will return to enjoy more of the sandwich options available as there are many that require the attention they deserve.

So after seeing this place in the Palm Beach Post and more than once on TikTok, I knew I wanted to try it out and a recent Sunday morning in WPB was the perfect opportunity to give it a shot. You'll want to use your GPS as there is no signage leading you through this warehouse district, and the door itself just has a sun faded sign barely revealing what's inside... But wow! What's inside! Halloween came to town early, with ouija board decor, skeletons of every size and shape, and countless horror movie references covering the walls. Even the menu items have horror themed named, something the owner Katie says really speaks to who she is. And yes, she is here, cooking for you and only too happy to talk about herself, her vision for the place, the place itself, and the food she makes fresh to order... Sadly... Though the food itself was decent, it didn't quite live up to the hype. And it's very pricey. Two biscuit sammiches, an iced tea and tip was almost a $50 breakfast. Any place with "Biscuit" in the name needs to deliver and I use biscuits & gravy as the barometer to measure a breakfast joint, so I got the "fan favorite" Baby Beast sandwich. The biscuit on my sandwich was huge, thick, and the buttery golden crust was delicious but the interior was just dense and a little too soft, definitely not fluffy or tender at all. Eggs were the soft folded style which I like but pretty flavorless. The gravy was thick and creamy with just the right amount of pour to spoon, and super tasty but there's some sort of herb working a little too hard here. Sage? Thyme? If overwhelms the simple sausage gravy you look for with a biscuit. It's not bad, hell it was really good, but it wasn't "quote unquote sausage gravy" like we all know and love. The sausage was likewise tasty, but tasted and looked to be made of chicken or turkey. Again, not bad, but again, not biscuits and gravy. The lovely Spensyr ordered something called "My Life is a Dark Room" which turned out to be a cinnamon roll biscuit made french toast style stuffed with chicken, eggs, and cheese. She also thought the eggs didn't carry their own weight, but the chicken was good. Unfortunately the French toast batter made the biscuit too wet to really be enjoyable. At the end of the day, both of us were glad we went and the venue itself is really cool, we wanted to love it, but without the horror themed hook, you're left with pricey just okay food.

The definition of a hole in the wall! As a longtime local & avid food hunter, how have I not found this spot? Locally owned with some kick-ass themes inside, this breakfast spot not only specializes in some great biscuits but basically everything else they make. I had an amazing burrito (which I had to save for later). Check em out!

Heads up: THIS IS NOT A RESTAURANT!!! It's a very cool hole-in-the-wall get your food to-go place with NO SEATING. Service was good, food was incredible. My picky 6yo says it's her absolute favorite now! We placed our order at the counter and it took about 40 minutes to get it because they had a huuuuge pile of to-go orders. I definitely recommend ordering ahead and not doing what we did. There's only two people in the kitchen and they looked absolutely slammed!

Calling all ghouls and guys! Where is Halloween 365 days a year? At the Biscuit Lady's Bakehouse where she is the Hallow-queen. I first learned about this bakery at Dessert Wars where they were serving samples of pudding and I loved that they were dishing it out of a coffin. They ended up winning second place. When I found myself north of Broward I had to pay them a visit. It is a little tricky to find them. They are in a warehouse off the road but trust me it will be worth the effort. Behind the door lies their kitchen and another room that will make your Instagram swoon with delight. Say hello to Tiny the dinosaur and Chunk the skeleton from me, You will find Chunk very humerus although he doesn't have a lot of guts. On the day I visited they had a specials board from which I chose my selections. I started off with a brown sugar cinnamon flavored cold brew with cinnamon vanilla cold foam. While I sipped my drink I was able to chat with the Biscuit Lady herself while she prepared my chicken biscuit sandwich special made with fried chicken tenders, bacon, cheddar cheese, topped with house made ranch on a buttermilk biscuit. Not only was it a work of art, it was love at first bite. The sandwich was easily enough for two. I couldn't leave without a sweet and I took a box of peach cobbler bars with me. I love supporting women owned small businesses and it is an honor to highlight this one. Whether it is my favorite spooky month or any of the other 11 months of the year, the Biscuit Lady is serving up the most delightful treats, no tricks. Bone appetit!

Call to order first before going as everything is cook to order and that will save you so much time. This is a To-Go shop only, no where to sit and eat except in your car. Once you get those obstacles out of the way, the food is going to be good.

I was in the mood for some breakfast after one of my morning workouts back in April and discovered this place. Surprised to find out that its not that far from and tucked away next to some other businesses. I got the chicken bacon ranch sandwich, and it was delicious. The workers are super nice, and let me know that next time I should phone in my order to avoid any extra fees instead of using any apps. Next time I would ask for some extra sauce for the biscuit, but otherwise no complaints!

Was super confused how to get in, no signage from street. It's in like à warehouse setting. The set up is cool. Was unique and a cool setting. This is a to go place only don't expect to sit. Food was good but holy pricey. 2 biscuits $27. I just got a basic bacon egg and cheese. While it was good it was soo rich. Also not a huge fan of folded the egg style just don't like the texture. Wish they had more coffee options but they tell you got to to pump house. Idk what my hubby got something with chicken he said was ok nothing special but his biscuit had to been over $16 if I just had a basic one. No prices. And stupid cause prob should of asked when we were like $27 but we didn't lol. We didn't get drinks and no tip. Idk if we would go back. Ladies were nice inside but Deff order ahead. Also pump house is cool atmosphere but I wasn't a fan of my coffee and there were not a lot of seat options for my little family! Would I go back. Maybe but I wouldn't run. I felt like I stepped into gideons cookie place in Disney springs but not as extravagant and with biscuits and cookies they sell.

Honestly--I really wanted to love this place because of all the positive reviews. But we (party of 3) all thought the food was mediocre and regretted eating it afterwards. The girl working was friendly and hard working (she may have been the owner) and the decor is extremely fun! Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing, or maybe this just isn't our type of food. We also got their special cold brew--it was unique, tasted good--but extremely sweet and I could not drink more than a few sips and they unfortunately do not offer any hot coffee or iced coffee without all the extra flavors and toppings, which is something that would be nice for a place with a lot of breakfast options

OMG! These biscuits are awesome. I'm not a huge biscuits and gravy person but these were very tasty. I had the southern mother clucker and my friend had the baby beast with bacon that came with gravy. The southern biscuit had chicken, apple butter, honey and pickles. The beast had eggs, bacon, and sausage gravy. This is a take out only establishment. She had some killer cookies too but I did not try those they looked really good. Both the ladies, the owner and cashier were very friendly. Will definitely be returning here to try to sweets too. The place is an area with many different bays. They are number 9, if you are in the wpb area give them a try.

This is the place to go if you like biscuits and sausage gravy!! They do take out and delivery for now. They opened 10/31/21..... Spooky! I ate the Baby Beast which was great! After bringing it home and tasting a little, I couldn't stop to make the coffee. It's my only regret with this experience. Not having my cup of joe with it.

The venue boasts a retro counter, cozy booth seating, and numerous tables, making it an inviting spot for folks of all mobility levels. Although we aren't physically challenged, the easy navigation impressed us. The abundant windows let in a flood of sunlight, perfect for those with vision challenges. When we arrived, the place was pleasantly quiet, but by the time we left at 8:15 AM, it turned into a bustling hub! Ah, the magic of daylight savings--proof that a week later, everyone's still waking up at the crack of dawn for cracked eggs! Service: Upon entering, we were greeted with the freedom to sit wherever our hearts desired--a rare treat! The staff was plentiful, with servers, runners, and bus staff dancing around like a well-choreographed musical number. Our main waitress, Payton, was exceptional--accommodating and patient, especially since it was our first visit. Each time we needed extra napkins or a coffee refill, staff members swiftly responded as if they had been trained to anticipate our needs. Everyone radiated friendliness--no disgruntled faces here! Even amidst a mini waitress convention in front of the beverage area, the camaraderie among the staff was evident, all while keeping an eye on customer needs. It's nice to see people enjoying work instead of treating it like a chore! Food: Now onto the pièce de résistance! For my order, I sought Payton's expert guidance on a hybrid egg dish. I decided on the Taylor Ham pork roll, complete with cheddar and a fried egg, all nestled in a toasted croissant, accompanied by crispy hash browns. Let's just say, my taste buds were throwing a party! As for my husband, he ordered a Swiss omelette with home fries. He described it as "underwhelming," but I suspect it was simply a texture issue; I make my omelettes a bit fluffier and filled to bursting, while Southern Kitchen opts for a thinner, crepe-like style. Despite his mixed feelings about the omelette, the hash browns won his heart, and the coffee was served hot and flavorful--essential for any successful breakfast outing! Value: For two hearty breakfasts and two delightful coffees, the bill tallied up to $31 before gratuity. Average $15 a head. Not bad! Will We Be Back?: Absolutely! With the promise of a succulent egg sandwich, endless piping hot coffee, and stellar service, we're ready to add Southern Kitchen to our lineup. Who could resist that!

On a positive note, our server was exceptional friendly, attentive, and accommodating, which helped enhance our overall experience. The restaurant's ambiance was mature and inviting and its location is indeed impressive. Despite the high ratings and popularity, I found the food lacking, which makes me hesitant to return. While I appreciate the quality of the drinks and the warmth of the service, the culinary offerings did not live up to the hype considering the basic dishes I ordered. Go for drinks only!

I'm genuinely puzzled by this restaurant's high rating--my experience was, quite frankly, abysmal…read more The space itself felt neglected: a musty odor lingered in the air, and the temperature was uncomfortably warm--borderline unbearable--making it difficult to relax from the moment we sat down. I decided to give this place a second chance on April 18, 2026, with an 8:30 PM reservation, and unfortunately, it was just as bad--if not worse--than my first visit. The service was exceptionally poor. Our waiter, Michael, set the tone early, and not in a good way. It took over an hour just to receive our appetizers, and drink refills required tracking down other staff members. What stood out most was the complete lack of attentiveness--Michael never once checked in on our table throughout the evening. The delay was so excessive that I was able to leave the restaurant, walk across the street, purchase a new set of clothes for my daughter, return, and have her change--all before our main course even arrived. To be clear, this wasn't out of convenience--it was out of necessity. The restaurant was so excessively hot that she was visibly uncomfortable and overheating. To make matters worse, water was served at room temperature in what felt like a furnace of a dining room. We actually had to ask multiple times--and essentially beg--just to get ice brought to the table. That alone speaks volumes about the level of awareness and care. Dining out is supposed to be a relaxing, enjoyable experience--especially after an evening out--but this was anything but. The food itself was underwhelming at best: mediocre, forgettable, and certainly not worth the wait. What was most disappointing, however, was the apparent inconsistency in service. From my observation, certain tables--specifically white families--received noticeably more attention and care, while others, including Hispanic, Asian, and African-American patrons, were largely overlooked. As part of an interracial family, this was both disheartening and unacceptable to witness. I've had great experiences at other locations of this restaurant, which makes this visit even more frustrating. This location, however, falls far below standard. To the management and staff: you're in a high-traffic area where guests come to unwind and enjoy their time. This experience did the exact opposite. One star--and that's only because it was possible to secure a reservation. Now I understand why availability wasn't an issue. TL;DR: Excessive heat, inattentive service, long wait times, mediocre food, and a deeply disappointing overall experience. I will not be returning.

Manager arrived and was really a lovely woman who offered to comp all four meals which we declined. She then offered to pack everything to go for free which we also declined. Won't be returning to the City Cellar anytime soon!

The meal lived up to all the hype. We loved the duck and eggplant appetizers. For our main courses, we had the Sweet Corn Agnolotti pasta and the Hand Rolled Busiate pasta with chanterelles. Both dishes were delicious!! We paired everything with a bottle of Sancerre. For dessert, you can't skip the Banana Fosters Butter Cake. We paired dessert with the 20 year tawny Port.
