This store is centrally located right off Okeechobee Road. and there is plenty of parking in this very large lot. It was a very easy in and out. They have a very large drive through service and will always see a team of people outside trying to help the line move a little quicker. It's an easy ordering system. Employees are always cool and sweet, service is quick, and food is flavorful (except the mac and cheese) and juicy but I feel like the chicken is poorly prepared in the aspect that i am always finding silver skin that covers half the stretch of my chicken and i don't appreciate having to tear the breading off and dissect my food. I am writing this food before even tasting the food. I'm sure the food will be great but what really stood out to me was the customer service. I called ahead of time because I knew I would be arriving right at closing time and Tamia was so happy to tell me I was still good to come and order and even helped me with my food questions as I've never been here before. I got to the store right at 10pm and Sabrina happily took my number and even spent extra time making sure I was getting the rewards points as a new customer. I use to be a fan of PDQ but today I don't know I'm just absolutely disappointed. I decided to order 5pc tender meal today since it's been awhile since I've been and after today probably will be another while before I come back. Between the hot building and the low lights it just seemed soo dead at this location. PDQ has definitely got to step their game up especially if their gonna charge $15 and I don't know the exact change but almost $16 for a dish the size of a happy meal and chicken that was nothing to run home and tell the wife and kids about. Chicken was very plain, fries were soggy, the bread felt like a mini brick they just missed completely on this dish, I'd rather go to raisin canes or chic fil any day before paying almost $16 to PDQ for this mediocre plate of food picture attached. UPDATE: Came again today with the save around coupons. Really good service from Jada, Justin and Mike. This place is unbelievably pleasant! I came here with the save around coupons, love that offer for the free kids meal with combo meal purchase. I ordered the honey butter chicken sandwich for myself (FAV!) and my son got the fried nuggets and fries. The food was amazing, always fresh at every PDQ. We also upgraded one meal to a chocolate shake which was the best ever but I also love the strawberry & Oreo one. We come here often because the coupons make it a great value but the service is amazing. Everyone who works for PDQ is so nice. Eating inside in some spots are very cold, so bring a sweater or grab one from your car especially if you have a little one. In the dead of Summer I'd rather it be cold than too hot in there! The price for value is extremely lacking. Yesterday I purchased an 8 piece nugget meal (includes fries & a drink) for $11 & some change. This is what I received. The amount of fries in this container is embarrassing. The fries are fried too hard and are flavorless. The nuggets are good. Buffalo bleu sauce is my favorite. I ordered a lemonade as my drink. Went there today and everything was normal until I got my bag of food. They gave it to me in a generic thank you white plastic bag and the container the chicken came in was a generic to-go box with no labeling on it. There was also a piece of toast? Guess they're trying to be like zaxbys, but not really sure and I didn't eat it. They've changed their recipe for the fries and tenders a few times and it's just not as good as it used to be. Fries (the new waffle fries) were also decent - almost identical to Chick-Fil-a. However, the Caesar salad was absolute crap. Lettuce soggy, obviously has been frozen and defrosted. Wilted too.
