The customer Service here is always great. However, they serve the most depressing salads. For $10 a pop, I expect to get a salad box full and not half filled. It's very disappointing to get home from picking up dinner and you get a salad like with barely any lettuce. Whoever is preparing the salads here needs to do a better job. I've order the same salad from other locations and never had this issue. It's only this location and unfortunately this one is close to home. :( read more

Amaya was an amazing associate as well as her coworker with dark hair and a blue jacket (I didn't get the name). I was flustered a bit coming in with my two year old niece. She was patient, kind, and understanding. She took my order as my niece cried and assisted me with every little detail. Multiple times Amaya came around to our table to check in and bring us anything we asked for. The only one I was not greeted by was the blonde woman with a pony tail. She appeared to be a manager but not sure. This experience was amazing and I am more than willing to drive to this Chik Fil A for the service! Worst service ever. Will not be back. Took me a while to figure this out: a fast food chain is expected to get your food into your hands as soon as possible. This location expects the customer to get your order out of your mouth as soon as possible as well. It was Monday morning at 11:30, just before the lunch rush. I pulled up & saw signs for the new pimento cheese sandwich & a new shake. I pulled up to the menu board & was trying to read, comparing prices & calories. But there were these 2 girls with their order pads, immediately trying to rush me. I said I was reading the menu board. The girl asked me to move up & said I could read the little placard attached to their ordering apparatus. I said I didn't want to read the placard, it's too small & doesn't have all the info. Mind you, I was at the board for less than 30 seconds total by now. But soon another car pulled up & I could sense this girl's impatience. I pulled up to the next car & told her I changed my mind, I didn't want to place an order and I told her to tell her manager this drive thru system sucked. After a minute or so I was up at the window & could tell by he smirk on the face of the young man standing outside the window that he knew what just occurred. It crossed my mind to just drive away but I, stupidly, thought it would be important to inform " someone " why I hadn't placed an order. So I started telling the other two women inside the window what occurred & that it was a bad system. One woman with a headset told me I could order off the placard, I said I wanted time to view the whole board. She actually rolled her eyes & walked away from me. I yelled after her " don't just walk away " while the other women & boy just smirked at me. Finally the woman said something along the line of " my apologies ". I know that my meager $20.00 lunch probably makes no difference to their bottom line. But I always experienced chick fil a have stellar customer service. I notice that this particular location only has 3 out of 5 stars. My sister has stopped at this location & brought us lunch once in a while & is always frustrated because the order is always wrong. This location rushes customers, the drive thru crew was extremely rude & condescending & actually walked away from me AND the orders are inaccurate. I am so glad this new restaurant opened up near me. It took me the longest time to figure out why they call it Chick-fil-A. I was so confused until I ordered. They sell chicken that makes you feel full. It is so good, that their chicken is constantly awarded a Grade of "A". Hence the name "Chick-Fil-A" or its more authentic name "Chicken-Full Belly-Grade A" I asked one of the employees why they do not sell hamburgers/cheeseburgers. She was so cool and told me that often times, if they did, it would not Meat their Egg-Spectations. The more you know :) Some background about me: I was born at a young age, I live in Montebello, I enjoy drinking coffee, I work in La Habra, I have never ridden in a school bus, I am afraid of door knobs, I am a size 10 shoe, I wear glasses, and I am vaccinated. When I get hungry, no matter where I am, I will drop what I am doing and will head on over to my favorite Chicken Spot in the San Gabriel Valley. I just wish there were more around where I live. One time I was camping in Big Bear and my friends forgot to bring food for dinner. I immediately called them and asked them to start making my order and asked them very politely to "keep the lights on! I am on my way!!" After driving for 3 hours, I was able to make it just in time, before they closed, at 7pm. Whew!! The friendly people at this fine establishment are the reason why I continue to eat food here. They are always so kind and upbeat. I hope I do not age myself when I say, they are drinking the same water the energizer bunny drinks. They keep going and going and going and going and going and going and going and going and going and going and going and going and going. I enjoy the fact that they ask me for my name. It makes me feel like I am apart of a large, extended family that I see 3-5x a week. I told my grandma this and she got mad at me. If you're looking for a show with raging attitudes, you have found it! Wow. The service was unbelievable. Left a terrible taste in my mouth. Not a single smile and they walk away as if this place were busy and they got other things to attend to (it was lonely, no one at the register before or after me). The "my pleasure" spiel was almost as if the employee Ashley was going to gag as she spoke those words. Ashley and her manager are terrible. As we went to order I noticed the register saying it was closed but I was charged and given my lemonade. I went and sat down but then after I looked around and noticed not many people sitting around. This is the chik fil a standard that im used to. Been disappointed since moving to whittier because my closest chik fil a (pico rivera) has not been the greatest. I was close to this location, so i ordered through the app per usual. I ONLY wish they offered curbside, but no biggie. I waited at the carryout line for about 5 mins, took the 15 min drive home and was pleasantly surprised at how fresh my food was! I almost forgot how amazing a FRESH piece of chicken from chik fil a is. (3 bad experiences at pico location with food not being fresh at all) I come from the south bay, where the redondo beach locations are some of the best ive ever been to. Glad to see some franchises care about the chik fil a quality and standard. Will be driving the extra mile to come here from now on. read more

Drive thru order taker wasn't very friendly. After I gave my order I asked for a specific amount of sauces because we have two orders of nuggets, two sandwiches, and chicken strips. Order taker seemed bothered at the fact I asked for four ranches and four bbqs. Also left out my sweet Sriracha I had asked for on the receipt. I mentioned it at the pick up window, they did fulfilled my sauce order as well as gave us a brownie. But didn't give me the Sriracha which wasn't a big deal. I then get home to see that my large fries weren't even a large. They might as well given us a medium if not small with it being a quarter empty. Food wasn't very hot either, we only live in the housing track behind the whitwood, I was home about two minutes or so after receiving order. One of my favorite places to eat! This location is fairly new inside the Whittwood town center next door to Red Robin. Parking can get tight since it's next to another restaurant but the drive thru always seems to move quickly. I have always had good customer service here with the employees. We only drive thru so I can't speak for the inside. The food is always fresh and tastes good. The spicy chicken is my favorite on the menu and tastes better when you add pickles. Fries are really good and different from the typical fast food. Lemonade is amazing and so is the vanilla shake. I can go on and on, I don't think I have not liked something here. My only tip is on the kids meals. Their 4 piece chicken will not fill up your kids. It's like one regular nugget cut into 4 pieces. Way too tiny to even be considered a meal.
