    Good burger
    Olivia M.

I gave this place 2 out of 5 stars because the food was much better than the overall experience. The hamburger was very tasty, cooked well, and had great flavor. I really enjoyed it and would order it again. Unfortunately, everything else left a lot to be desired. The restaurant felt cold and unwelcoming from the moment I walked in. I'm also not a fan of having to order through a kiosk. I much prefer interacting with an employee and placing my order with a real person. It makes the experience feel more personal and welcoming. The biggest reason for my low rating was the smell inside the restaurant. There was a strong, unpleasant odor from the front counter all the way to the restrooms. It smelled like a sewer or sewage issue, and it was impossible to ignore. The odor was so overwhelming that it took away from enjoying an otherwise good meal. I don't know if it's a plumbing problem or something else, but it definitely needs to be addressed. I had to go outside to enjoy my food. The burger deserves compliments, but the atmosphere and the strong smell made this a disappointing visit. I hope the restaurant fixes these issues because the food has potential, but the dining experience needs significant improvement.

Oh SONIC how you truly disappointed me !!! Ordered ahead and checked in stall #8 at 9 pm - I checked in and told him my name and he said it would be coming out soon , 15 minutes passed and nothing. I waited a bit more and called again at 9:30 pm to cancel and got hanged up on and all of a sudden someone comes out with my food . Then proceeded to say I said the wrong stall and I said nope , showed her the app as well because it makes you enter the stall and she stood quiet . How are you going to try to blame me when I even pressed the red button said my name and the stall !!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ! Now my food disgusting . Shake was all melted , my burger was not made correctly(I asked for no mayo ) and they put extra mayo ! The onion rings were super soggy and smashed !!! Just super disappointed . !!! I checked the receipt and they had stall 9 and food was sitting there since 9:20 pm and I received my order at 9:45 pm even though I called in to check twice . !!!! TERRIBLE !!!!

Oh Sonic, how you disappoint me! So cute on the interior but the service!! We were literally the only customers in the place, maybe one person in the drive-thru and we waited EIGHT MINUTES for two coffee drinks! We didn't even order food! I will say our server was nice, but dude! Since we hadn't paid yet I was on the point of leaving (one more minute's grace) when our order came out. Since Sonic is not real close this is probably my last visit. On the plus side, the iced caramel toffee coffee was good! And cheap!

    Dirty menu.

Every time we come to this sonic there's an issue..they're slow! We've been here since 6pm and it's now 6:34pm and nobody has attended us. We tried to put in a mobile order to make it "quicker" but still no order. My husband went inside to cancel the order and they said oh you have to cancel it through the app. What? Such an inconvenience for the customer. Crappy place, crappier service. 10/10 don't recommend.

I had a Great Experience with my daughter tonight. The drive up menu is fun to use and to eat in the car. Great Service from Paula!! :) Plus the food was delicious and overall amazing SERVICE! Will be BACK!

Cheesy Bacon SONIC Stack, it was OK! A little plain...

A wild Sonic appeared! Before any of you think I'm insane for giving a 4-star to a fast food restaurant... I am rating this as I would a fast food restaurant, not a normal restaurant, obviously can't compare. Anywhoo! I had a pretty good experience here. I'll break down everything I tried, the total, service, convenience, etc. Food: I tried (don't judge me on the amount) Premium Chicken Bites, Cheesy Bacon SONIC Stack, Garlic Butter Bacon Cheeseburger, SuperSONIC Jalapeno Double Cheeseburger, Mozzarella Sticks, Chili Cheese Tots, Groovy Fries and a Peanut Butter Oreo Shake. Premium Chicken Bites: Quality of the chicken bites was surprisingly good - didn't get a single bit of cartilage or chewy fat in the entire order. Taste was on par with Wendy's Spicy Chicken Nuggets, however, I would place them maybe a tiny bit beneath Wendy's (I'm biased - I love Wendy's and nothing beats their spicy nugs). I did not think they were spicy, not sure if they were meant to be, but anyway they were good and I'd recommend them to fellow nug enthusiasts. $7.59 for a large, not bad. Cheesy Bacon SONIC Stack: I was under the impression that Texas toast was kind of like garlic bread, or like toasted bread with butter or SOMETHING but this burger was made with just plain toasted bread. Not that the toasted bread was bad or anything but it was just super plain, didn't really make the burger stand out at all, was just overall a really plain ordinary burger that I wouldn't really go out of my way to eat again. Mid. $7.29. Meh. Garlic Butter Bacon Cheeseburger: This one was def the highlight of my fat feast - I am a garlic bread FIEND and this was pretty much a garlic bread burger. It was great! Grilled onions, bacon, cheese, garlic bread buns, perf. Would for sure go out of my way to try it again - I was a bit surprised to find a menu item like it, but am super glad I tried it. Would recommend. $7.29. SuperSONIC Jalapeno Double Cheeseburger: this was probably the weakest of the burger bunch. It was drowned in mustard - which I'm not sure was intentional, and leads me to believe a cook took out their frustration on my burger by choking the mustard bottle - (I kid) - but it pretty much overpowered anything else on the burger. I like mustard, but even for me, it was a tad much. 3/10. $7.59. Mozzarella Sticks: these were highly recommended based on a bunch of reviews I saw online and yes they were good, but they were pretty much the frozen mozz sticks you can get at any grocery store, so not that they're bad, but nothing special. Would I reorder? Yes. Would I recommend? Probably not as you can probably get a massive bag for the same price. $5.59 for medium. Chili Cheese Tots: I LOVE chili cheese fries of any sort. That being said, I've tried countless chili cheese fries at so many different establishments and honestly Sonic's were pretty good! I love beanless chili and beans were thankfully absent from Sonic's tots. Flavor was good, tots maybe a wee bit soggy but didn't feel undercooked or anything, just a little soggy from the chili & cheese. I enjoyed them and would reorder. $4.59 for a small. Groovy Fries: these were crispy, however, they were a little greasy. You know how sometimes you get fries that are like.. transparent almost? Yeah, they were like that. OK, but would not recommend or reorder. $3.29 for a small. Peanut Butter Oreo Shake: I love peanut butter but this shake was a little overwhelming. Too much peanut butter and not enough oreo. Too sweet. Would recommend if you worship peanut butter but if you like oreos more, I'd go with some other oreo shake or blizzard thing. Would not reorder, price was around $6 for a small. TL;DR: Garlic Butter Bacon Cheeseburger, Chili Cheese Tots & Chicken Bites were great! As far as service goes, I went twice. First time, got 2 shakes, and took about 15 minutes in an empty line, however, I do want to mention their ice cream machine was acting up so I don't blame the staff at all. Just one of those things that happens. Second time, I got the feast, did a mobile order and got everything immediately after pulling up (ordered maybe 4 minutes in advance, although I don't suggest doing this at a busier time). I went at around 4pm and thankfully the drive thru line was empty, but I will mention that IF there is a drive thru line, it completely blocks the spaces for drive-in/mobile order pick-up so I can def see this as a problem if it is busy. There are only 2 mobile order stalls, so I'd be mindful of the time you are ordering, or just pull up first if a stall is open, then order and wait... or just do drive thru. Staff is friendly, they apologized for the ice cream mishap even though I know they weren't at fault. I got my food super quick and everything was hot and made it home ok even after a 20+ minute commute. My total for the feast ended up around $40 (they do have online ordering deals, so I suggest downloading their app), and I think it was pretty good. 7/10 :)

Update: They're no longer affiliated with Fivestars!…read more I've since gone two additional times to try their waffle bites. My last trip was kind of spontaneous because I suddenly got a Fivestars reward that day for these waffle bites. However, when I arrived, I was looking for the Fivestars tablet only to be met by a Clover tablet instead. It felt like I went through a time warp because the employee working behind the register didn't seem to have any idea what I was trying to say regarding Fivestars, though he did notice a little trifold card on the front counter mentioning Fivestars. I asked if he could get his manager so I could explain, and even show, him my Fivestars reward. The reward said "already accepted", which he almost thought meant I had redeemed it already, but if that were the case, then it would have said "already redeemed". Given that they've now done away with Fivestars, I'm not too surprised he may have gotten the words "accepted" confused with "redeemed", but luckily, he was happy enough to honor it for me. The employee who assisted me was very helpful, though he did ask me to repeat the topping and the drizzle that I wanted. I chose the Strawberry Cheesecake flavor ice cream with Fruity Pebbles toppings and a Strawberry drizzle on top. Since I had already tried the cookie flavors before, I figured I'd try the fruity flavors this time around. He said he needed about 5 minutes to prepare my waffle bites, which were presented a little different than last time. Last time, I got the Cookie Butter flavor with *Cookie* Crisp and Peanut *Butter* (see what I did there?), and it came in a small plastic takeout container. This one came in a large plastic cup, and I'm thinking the logistics may have changed a ton between my last two visits. I did appreciate how the employee asked if I wanted the waffles on top of or beneath the ice cream before making the waffle bites; I chose on top. He also asked if I'd like powdered sugar on top, to which I agreed. Unfortunately, neither of the waffle bites I got from my last two visits impressed me that much. As a matter of fact, the only thing that impressed me was the strawberry drizzle. Everything else fell kind of flat. While generous in size for the $8 price tag, the Cookie Butter and the Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream didn't really taste like these flavors at all! For whatever reason, the peanut butter didn't add much flavor, but the strawberry drizzle added a lot! How even?! In short, the waffle bites weren't that much of an upgrade from the ice cream scoop that I had on my first visit. I'm willing to say "too much good was no good" here. The waffles themselves were good, but they can only do so much when a flavored ice cream doesn't even taste like that flavor. It's worth noting that on my penultimate visit, when I got the Cookie Butter Waffle Bites, I saw two employees behind the front counter who were ready to take my order. I asked them to explain what the waffle bites were, but it took them a couple of tries to actually understand what I was asking. From what I gathered, the waffle bites were similar to the ice cream scoop I had on my first visit, but with the addition of a warm waffle to supplement the ice cream. However, the step-by-step process remains the same. I was initially told it would take 6 minutes to prepare the Cookie Butter Waffle Bites, but it actually took 15! It seemed like one was training the other or they were trying to gather the ingredients and/or the steps needed to create the waffle bites. After about 10 minutes, I was told by one of the employees they had to make a new batch of waffles because the first batch had burnt. The music was getting pretty loud, so it was hard to hear him after that, but I didn't want to hold up the kitchen prep process any longer. I just said "Alright, sure" so he could continue preparing my order. I do appreciate how he let me know of this so that I'd know the reason for the extended wait, but I wish they weren't so ill-prepared during my visit. So overall, still 3 stars overall. I appreciate the prior partnership with Fivestars, but these missed opportunities have led me to believe that Cravings is just not for me. I doubt I'll try anything else on their ice cream menu, and considering that there are only a few parking spots in their lot, it will take a lot to get me to try their hot chicken. And speaking of lack of parking, I also want to mention that on my second visit, I saw two open parking stalls right in front of Cravings, one on either side of a car. That car had its driver's side wide open so that I couldn't park there. I had to park on the passenger side of that car, which he left much less room for. Perhaps a microcosm of the clientele in this part of town? Everybody deserves a second chance, right? Unfortunately, not everybody can make the most of them, and this is just one example of such. Thanks for the sweet treats Cravings, but I'll get my next one somewhere else.

Another perk was the eatery nextdoor!

We saw how large the scoops were on other customers' orders so we each decided on one scoop in a bowl. They have various cone options and waffle bowls if desired. There were quite a few young people working hard in the little enclosed kitchen. We ordered and picked up outside at the window. I was dying for an ice cream sandwich but theirs featured oreos as the cookie so I passed. Hubby got vanilla ice cream, his go to flavor, and i tried the blueberry cobbler. His scoop was a little larger than mine, so that was a bit annoying. He enjoyed his vanilla. The blueberry cobbler was divine; the vanilla was swirled with a good amount of blueberry that tasted fresh. The "cobbler" bits were pieces of sugar cookie, which were not bad but not much flavor, just sugary. There were crumbles as well as little cookie bits. We agreed they offer a quality product and a good sized serving for the price. I would return to try some of the other flavors!

A small serving is practically three scoops, offering excellent value. **Strawberry Ice Cream (Waffle Bowl): 5/5** Handel's truly elevates a timeless favorite with this exceptional strawberry ice cream. It had an irresistibly creamy texture while allowing the fresh, vibrant flavor of real strawberries to shine through in every bite. The crisp, freshly made waffle bowl added a delicious buttery crunch that perfectly complemented the luscious strawberry ice cream. **S'mores Ice Cream (Chocolate-Dipped Waffle Bowl): 3/5** This rendition of the beloved campfire treat had plenty of potential but ultimately missed the mark. While the ice cream itself was smooth and velvety, the graham cracker flavor overshadowed the toasted marshmallow and chocolate notes. The chocolate-dipped waffle bowl added a crisp textural contrast and a subtle hint of chocolate, but it wasn't enough to make up for the otherwise one-dimensional flavor profile. While our experience was somewhat hit-or-miss, Handel's demonstrated why it has earned such a loyal following. It's damp, warm and very faint. The fan that turns on when someone opens the door is obnoxiously loud too. The last time we went, we had lemon and grape nerds in a quart. Brought it back home for our weekly snack. Unfortunately, I found pieces of plastic in the lemon part. I thought it'd just be a single piece so I continued eating, and realized they were spread throughout. I also thought it might be the skin of the lemon. So, we washed it, pulled it and it definitely did not break like lemon skin, but stretched like plastic. Other than that, love Rita's
