It is Veteran's Day and to celebrate a lot of companies including Chick fil A are offering current service members and veterans a free meal. Because I did not know what Chick fil A is offering I placed a call. I was not able to get a live person on the phone. Being in the Whittwood mall at 11:30am I decided to drive thru. I asked the attendant what Chick Fil A was doing for Veteran's Day and was told I would have to come back after 5:30. I told him that I had tried to call and I was already in line, could he ask a manager if anything could be done. I waited in line and the attendant said the manager would talk to me at the window. When I got to the window 4 people were standing there. I mentioned I was an ARMY veteran I tried to call on the phone to see what was being offered and didn't get a live person. The female brunet manager was nasty to me saying "when did you call." There hasn't been a call". I was going to hand her my phone and show her the outgoing call to Chick Fil A. Her tone was as if she caught me in a lie so I didn't feel obligated to defend myself. Why would I lie about calling? I asked her if she was willing to do something for us now since we were already here. She told me no I would have to come back at 5:30. Where most companies are trying to pay back and thank veterans for their service today, this location of Chick Fil A did its worst to upset a Veteran. read more

One star for the service as always. But the food was very disappointing. First time trying the grilled sandwich and it was dry and had no flavor, small piece of chicken it was mostly bread. I've come here on multiple occasions the last few months and every time I do I have a horrible experience. They always refuse to give you more sauce. You're only allowed 2 sauces per order. And they WILL NOT give you more. Not even if you argue or try to pay for them. They say they are in a "sauce shortage". But they are somehow the only chick-fil-a in the whole county that is. So I have a feeling it's just managed but a stingy person who refuses people more sauce. My cousin didn't believe me and we had this problem AGAIN yesterday. Never coming here again. They are making the CHICK FIL A name look really bad. Not up to standard at all. From CS to food. People look miserable. Food is missing or cold. This time: Got my order wrong three times here. This time around, I checked in to get the free nuggets. Yes it's free but I had asked the window person to make sure all my order was there because of the previous times and it looked like it wasn't complete. Yes, it's missing as I parked the closer spot possible at JC Penny. A packed Saturday which means parking was far, and I left the keys and phone in the car with the husband thinking it's a quick fix. Turns out they scanned but didn't input after waiting 10 mins for service to fix this. They did offer to have me check in but the phone was in the car thinking I had ordered it bc she repeated my order, took my phone to scan and the window person confirmed. Yes- I could've walked five minutes out to JC Penny's parking and get it, cause that's how busy it was. But being that I had waited in the long drive thru, waited some more, and now have to walk back in 90+ degree made me cranky. Easy fix but third time getting my order wrong made me even more upset. I never have experienced such customer service at a chick-fil-a in my life. I wanted one extra sauce and "Joseph" from the drive thru said he couldn't give us a sauce, I even offered to pay extra for a damn sauce. He said no. He said he only gives one sauce per meal I ordered 2 meals and he only gave me ONE damn sauce. He needs more training if that's the case, horrible. Love this location! Yes the drive thru is usually crowded and I've never took the time to wait there so I can't comment on that. I have however downloaded the Chick-Fil-a app and ordered curbside which was super fast and convenient! The staff is always friendly here, just like every Chick-Fil-a I've been to. Sometimes people make mistakes, its human nature, the important thing is it's fixed without incidence. There was a mistake on my son's order, fries instead of fruit. I simply walked up to the counter and it was rectified immediately. My kids love the nuggets here and I favor the spicy chicken. I've heard there's a hot chicken coming soon which is awesome! Side note if you use app in the restaurant. Be sure to scan before you pay for your order at the register so you get points. If you forget there's a web address at bottom of the receipt and you can manually input it there. Super easy. read more

2 stars only because the food is good per usual, but not the best servicing location, also, they are limiting the condiment count per meal to 2. That's including fries. They don't even allow customers the option of paying for extra! Like many others, I use two on my sandwiches alone. And another 2 on my fries. I prefer not to eat with cottonmouth. Not only are other locations not doing this, they AT MINIMUM are give paying customers the option to purchase extras. Stop telling your employees to rant about a shortage of condiments, call some of the other locations they don't talk about a shortage or any limits on condiments.
