For the record, this is not my favorite Chic-Fil-A. My favorite Chic-Fil-A is over in Monticello shopping center -Mgr. Scott Peto. And here's why: I was out early at 7 AM picking something up from Home Depot on Mooretown Road. I was headed back home so I thought I'd place my order at the Mooretown Road location even though I knew they were iffy. They had absolutely no one in the drive-through and only one person standing in their lobby waiting for food. They gave me a sausage egg muffin sandwich that the muffin was so hard it was not chewable and it was cold. I didn't realize this until 15 minutes later when I arrived home. I will never go back!!! And you're cleaning and closing in the inside while you have customers inside. I thought about this one overnight. This will be my last experience at this location so I decided to let it all out. This is the worst Chick Fil A I've ever visited and this is based on multiple visits. I love CFA, been a signature member for so many years and never had one issue with the Gloucester or the other Wburg stores. This Mooretown location needs new management, the food is not good and the service is not to CFA standards. Seems like a high school hangout for the employees on the clock. Horrible. Stopped by this location on our way to the beach. Bathrooms literally had fences on the floor. NO PLAYGROUND NOT kid friendly, Terrible, rude service. We routed specifically to this chic fil a on our drive home as a good half way pit stop for our 16month old twins to get out and stretch their legs and have lunch. Both yelp and the chic fil a website state this location has a play place AND is kid friendly. Well let me tell you it is NEITHER. In the picture above we are sitting in what should be the play place. There were 3 other families that came in who had done the same as us and routed to this chic fil a as a pit stop for their kids to get out and play on their roadtrip. To say we are disappointed was an understatement. The kids are now stuck in high chairs after being stuck in their car seats and are going to have to get right back in them. We choose chic fil an over all other play places because they are always so clean and are completely enclosed. To top it off Abigail, or Alexandria I can't remember her name was extremely rude when I asked about the play place and asked her to let one of the managers know the information on the website should be updated to have accurate information regarding the play place. We had a nice get together Christmas Eve. The Wife had placed an ordered bof chicken chicken nuggets from a local Chicken Filet establishment. The order was ready as promised for pick on time. The guest really enjoyed the nuggets and they went fast. We didn't expect as large turnout as we had and ran short we had, but we had other items to substitute, so all went fine. Well this review is going down from the 2 I have the last time. got mad enough to come write on here again Let me tell you how not once in the past I don't know how many months have we gotten not the full order we have placed. This time it was a missing sandwich and with two combos we only got 1 1/2 of the amount of fries we purchased. They don't like filling up their boxes, sort of partially filled. Last time we paid for two of them to be deluxe sandwiches (lettuce and tomatoes) and they were plain. All these times, though we specifically ask for the amount of sauce needed, we don't get it. It took 3 shove up in with the card and two slides on the tablet to be told it didn't work. When we pulled up it took at least 15 min for me to be able to pay for my food. This being one of the two Chick-fil-A's in the area you would think they would get it right. We live far and that is the reason when we get home to have dinner and find the wrong food we don't go back and ask for the proper meal. Got the kids some quick food for our trip home from the GWL. Staff was quick as expected. Both kids got nuggets and fries, and surprise surprise, everything was cold. The fries were cold and my fry inhaling children were very disappointed. I'm really annoyed as we aren't local to the area, and don't want to turn around in rainy weather with my small kids. Hey there, Reviewing Chick-fil-A??? I'm sorry, I have to. It's likely the most popular fast food spot in all of the Williamsburg area. But that comes at a cost..... long lines, waiting, small parking lot, and my hand wringing experience today of not checking my order at the drive through before driving 20 miles to get home. Teenagers working hard, I'll give it to them, always polite, always smiling. But I saw what happened and why they shorted me, too busy to get it right the first time. This is the third time this year I made this mistake of not stopping to check my order, unpack my to go bag and see if it was all there. Five or six times, I have caught it at the drive through. Chick is expensive and they churn through teenage employees there like every other restaurant in town. If you want to avoid the frustration, go somewhere else when it is really busy. I went back to get the items they left out, and left after standing in line for 15 minutes. I wasn't getting any closer to the register. You have to go inside to fix the drive through mistakes, so leave Rover at home. They are this busy because people love this place, but they can count on me to go somewhere else when I need my food in a hurry. Just don't go to the last Burger King left in town, it's racing to be the next place to go down in flames. But that's a different review. read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. My son - 2 years old - just had surgery under general anasthesia and all he wanted after was some chicken minis. My wife placed a mobile order during breakfast hours while still in the hospital parking lot (across the street from this store). They arrived at 10:31, one minute after breakfast ends, and the employees at this store refused to deliver the order. My wife, who worked for seven years at Chick-Fil-A in high school and college, pleaded with them to just give her some chicken minis while my son was distraught in the back seat. The employees refused and claimed it wasn't possible, which my wife knows is false from experience. I understand having company and store policies in order to operate a business smoothly and efficiently, but this is really ridiculous. Part of the charm of Chick-Fil-A is that the customer is treated like a human being and not just a number. This kind of behavior from the employees indicates an overly bureaucratic and micro-managerial attitude from the store management. I can't believe the owner and/or manager(s) of this store have imposed such bureaucratic rules that they can't deliver pre-ordered breakfast one minute into "lunch" time (I still don't understand who would want to have a chicken sandwich and waffle fries at 10:30 AM, but what do I know?). PS: my wife was able to travel across town and get a four-count chicken minis from the Monticello Avenue store when she explained the situation. She got them right around 11AM. I guess I married a miracle worker since she made the impossible happen. We will be avoiding this Mooretown Road location for the time being. Do better! read more

I placed a mobile order for curbside delivery. It was supposed to be delivered within 2-5 minutes at my vehicle. 12 minutes later, no order. The app doesn't show the order as received or pending delivery to the car. I go inside and my order is SITTING on the counter. It wasn't in mobile pickup, it was just sitting on the counter behind the beverage area waiting for someone to bring it out. I walked right up to the counter since there wasn't a line and let the person at the counter know I was waiting for a curbside order. She walked over and grabbed it when I told her my name and said they are waiting on drinks. The lobby was empty! Nobody was waiting. Why was there a wait for drinks? Not to mention there were about 6 employees in the corner chatting and hanging around. NOT OKAY CFA! To make it worse none of my food was hot AND my drink tasted like carbonated water. This location is not convenient from 95 so to come here and get this is utterly disappointing! Our first visit to a Chick-fil-A ever and this location was clean, friendly, and food was yummy. I had the gluten free grilled chicken sandwich and appreciated the presentation of the sandwich which I had to build myself due to the gluten-free bun packaging. The gluten-free bun was soft and didn't fall apart. The lettuce was green and robust. The kids had chicken sandwiches and chicken nuggets that they loved. The sweet tea tasted great and the gluten-free french fries were a delight for me. There's no Chick-fil-A in Hawaii so the kids are looking forward to future visits at other locations. read more

South usually very courteous. I would give it a four or even five star review except for the quantity. Prices have nearly doubled, which is the way of the industry right now, however they never fill the medium fries. You get like 7 waffle fries for $2.50. That's about $.35 per fry. Also the chicken on the sandwich is smaller than the bun. Also, as with all Chic-Fil-As, it is annoying to have to wait at the counter and feel like you are begging for a drink refill. I initially had a 2 star review, but they do not allow you to order from the app for pick up orders inside, only for the drive through window. Terribly inconvenient. With that said, I still go there, because it is better than the other one in town and my kid wants to go there, but I changed my review to 1 star for the inconvenience. I went with my family on a road trip to vacation. My sisters got fries and drinks. My mom and I eat sugar free for allergy reasons, we ordered coffee with no sweetener and grilled chicken no seasoning. I have nothing good to say about this location. Bad attitudes have no place at CFA especially if customers are being patient. I waited for my food at the drive through window for 8 min after placing my mobile order 21 min prior to arriving at the restaurant before I tried to ask if everything was ok and if they had my order. The guy at the window had an attitude with me after asking nicely If they had it and after the fact talked about me to the baggers in my face. Another few minutes passed before he actually went and got a receipt to tell me my food never got to their screens so I had to go into the restaurant to get my food where I waited another 15 minutes.
