Visited this newly rebuilt location for the first time around 11ish to beat the lunch rush. It was a bright and clean building and as always the staff was nice. Prices seemed high but the food was tasty! My son enjoyed his waffle fries but I thought the grilled nuggets looked too dark and he really didn't eat them. Stopped for lunch , glad that they rebuilt the restaurant. Super friendly , helpful staff. The Chick-fil-A sandwich came hot and perfectly cooked. I love it with the honey roasted BBQ sauce. It was cold outside when I was there, unfortunately it came inside . There are plenty of doors for staff, no reach through windows anymore. It's a full door, left wide open, made for a chilly lunchtime. read more

The pick up line is the worst at this location! Just go inside and order. It will save you a lot of time! The people working have food to every car BUT the first car in line and did not have them move. Then when we finally had our turn to drive up the lady was so confused on what line to give our food order too. I accidentally placed an online order for this location when it was supposed to be for a different location. When I tried to get a refund, they told me they couldn't because they already made the food. When I called corporate, they reached out to the store and I have now gotten an email twice from this location basically telling me it's my fault and there's nothing they can do. They just updated this location and I will say it was way better before. Went here for 2 milkshakes, it took over 30 minutes to get our drinks we were in the front of the line by the pickup window and could see our drinks just sitting there for a while. Disappointing. The two people running food (a young girl and manager) kept grabbing all the drinks and food that was clearly behind our drinks and they were assisting all the cars behind us without even asking the name of our order or anything again very disappointing. We ended up getting our shakes and as you would think they are melted, we didn't say anything bc we are not ones to be rude but it was aggravating watching them assist everyone behind us. I've never left a restaurant review in my life but this location was so unorganized it genuinely pissed me off. I ordered an iced peppermint coffee and it took 40 MINUTES. It was sitting behind the counter for about 20 and the lady kept ignoring when I said excuse me (blue shirt lady). Mind you my peppermint iced coffee taste like dog water. That is the beauty of this great nation, everyone has a voice and no one can be denied that right. I served honorably for 17 years to defend those rights that we all hold dear. My name is Theodore Hudson Sr. I am a father, a nurse, and a US Army Veteran. I work at the VA Clinic serving those who have served this country. On 11 November 2024 I had the misfortune of going to the Market Street FSU Chik-fil-A (#01106) in Wilmington NC Operated by Ben Salmon. I will never visit that location again and am appalled that the store manager CHOSE not to honor Veterans on Veterans Day. The young lady who took my order apologized and directed me to any of the other chik-fil-As in the area. I asked the manager why the store manager chose to disregard those that have served this country she told me it was the store manager's decision not to honor the discount offered at every other Chik-fil-A in the area. The staff at the restaurant were beyond polite but I am enraged to know that someone would deliberately withhold a military discount on Veterans Day. This location has the best chicken however I won't be back for 2 reasons: 1- there are no infection control measures in place. AT ALL. The staff no longer wear masks despite the more contagious Covid variant currently running rampant. While inside, I noted another unmasked pick up customer OPENLY (uncovered) COUGHING directly onto the pick up stand. That's right, OPENLY COUGHING on the stand that all pick orders are placed on. As a nurse, I was cringing the whole time. I took my order directly from the workers hands so that they wouldn't set it down. 2- The drive thru is a nightmare. There are two entrances into the parking lot. One off of New Centre and one right off of Market. If you come in the new centre way, you have no lane to join the drive thru. At all. Tried to circle around and the back is blocked off so that you have to go back out and around. I ended up having to cancel my drive thru order and place a new carry out order (the app failed to do this) because I couldn't get into the drive thru. Never ever, ever again. read more

I ordered a Cobb salad. The bacon that was on it appeared RAW. It looked to be all fat no meat. When I complained they just said oh we are sorry. I showed them a picture and they said they wouldn't have eaten it either. They obviously don't understand the dangers in eating raw or undercooked pork! They said it came in precooked, so it was ok to eat. When on next visit I substituted cooked bacon that comes on a sandwich I was charged extra money!! Very poor customer service. read more

I had to go to Wilmington twice in a week. I live far from chick fil a and it's my fav so when I'm in Wilmington or Jville I always go. So The first time I went to this location while in Wilmington they forgot my kids order. I checked when I was a little further away when we finally stopped and I realized they forgot. No biggie just went back and they got it. Then when I had to go back to Wilmington later in the week I went again, this time I didn't leave I parked closer to eat... and they forgot a part of my order again.. so I went back. The people are incredibly friendly, and they are FAST. I don't know any other fast food place that can get through a line of cars completely wrapped around the building as quick as they do. Plus, the food is incredible! No other fast food is comparable. They are in a league of their own. read more

Upward trends on my last few visits. Yay! Could this location be on the up and up? I genuinely hope so. I said I'd stop going here for good in my last review but in truth I'm here all the time. It's a stone's throw from my new place and I just freaking love Chick-Fil-A. One thing I've noticed on recent trips is a lot of new faces behind the counter. Far be it from me to cheer from the sidelines as people lose their jobs, but the new crew practices efficiency and customer service in a way that the old bunch never cared to. Add to this the downright miraculous experience I had this morning: rolling up to the drive thru window and being told I was the day's 100th customer so my meal was free! NICE! I order door dash from and go to this Chick fil a pretty regularly ONLY because it is the closest one to my work and I cannot tell you how many times there's been forgotten items for my order... Well today tops it off. I drove there during my lunch break to get a salad. Drove back to work to eat my salad and there was no dressing in the bag. I asked if they could either bring me one to my work which is 5 minutes away (because I could not leave work for this inconvenience) or could they refund me over the phone since my meal was pretty much a waste. Devastated! Anyone who's ever had the chicken salad sandwich on that yummy multi-grain bread will completely understand. Chick-fil-A has discontinued this sandwich at this location!! This place is like your typical fast food joint except it specializes in chicken. I have tried two different sandwiches and they were both good. The waffle fries on the other hand were okay. This establishment is top of the line! Every time I am here my order is correct, I am greeted by friendly staff and I never wait long....and usually they are SLAMMED . The manager has got it running smoothly! A tightly run staff that appears happy Md they get along . The restaurant is clean, the restrooms are clean and there is a no be big beautiful table in the center if you have a big group that wants to eat together . The play area for the kiddos is clean, spacious and fun. Most Chick fil A's are a sure thing, however lately in my experience the service has dropped off.
