Chicken & Waffles For the People came to a roller derby bout I went to, and holy heck their food hit different! The customer service was awesome as I didn't know what to order, the menu looked too good!! I bought myself an original chicken and waffles with fries! Oh, did I mention the fresh squeezed lemonade.... AMAZING

Wow. Wow. WOW. This place is awesome. They've come to my apartment complex twice and I can't get enough. My mouth is watering right now thinking about how good this place is. The variety of sauces is awesome! The chicken is perfectly cooked and crispy. There are waffles are fluffy yet crispy. I can't wait till the next time they come back. I may not be able to wait and we have to go hunt them down! Definitely don't skip this truck. WORTH It.

We shared the sample sized Chicken and Waffle. The waffle was nice and fluffy and very large. The chicken was sort of over cooked and chewy and was topped with (I think) hibiscus honey. All in all it was tasty but it's a shame that it was over cooked. Maybe they do better on the full size items...? 2.75 stars

    The fuck is this?

Terribly small portions and terrible prices. Nothing cheaper than $16. Service was also rude, the server slammed the payment device and pager in front of me. Not to mention the pager was greasy as hell. Wish I could give 0/5. Maybe change the name to chicken nuggets and waffles.

Chicken and waffles with side of Mac and cheese. Sauce: ranch and mango Habanero.

This food, the service, the team work, the urgently is a 10/10!!!!! Would recommend this wife and husband duo food truck to anyone interesting in great, flavorful food!!

We ordered the chicken & waffles for the people

Food tasted great but the portions are extremely small for the price. This was $20 after tax.

Large chicken and waffles (red velvet) $16

I love me a good food truck was excited to find them in my community. I also love some breakfast for dinner Chicken and waffles seemed like a good idea for a Wednesday night. large chicken and waffles for $16 and upgraded mine to red velvet. The food truck was not very crowded but I had to wait a good 15 minutes. I really wanted to love them more but the waffles were underwhelming and tasted funny, they were soft but not sweet at all and I have a sweet tooth the syrup was very little and could not redeem them. The fried chicken was fresh and crispy and could use a little more coating. They have a number of sauces like bbq, sweet chili, garlic Parmesan etc. Overall I'd say skip the red velvet. Cheers!

Super bomb. Chicken was crispy and tender. Waffles sweet and savory. Mixing them together was heaven! Thanks for the amazing dinner! Sincerely, your stoned food truck Friday customer. :)

    Chicken and Waffles for me.

I tried this truck for the first time at the Food Streets Cinema. And I think it was love at first bite! Next time I see this truck on the street the first thing I'm going to do is run to it. It may look like an scene with Bo Derek, but there is no shame. This chicken is well seasoned, perfectly breaded, not greasy at all, which is surprising. Instead of breast they seem to use dark meat, which is jucier, and my favorite. Plus they got a nice choice of delicious sauces to drip on top in combination with the sweetness of the syrup... I tell you, its good! Its a very nice amount for the money. I ordered the 5 piece and they were very nice size nuggets... no relation to McNuggets, these ones are the real deal. The waffle needs work, not my favorite, but through the chicken all else is not a big deal.

Wonderful Food Truck! Tasty, fresh, quality food. I was surprised to find them right outside my apartment one evening. I'm sure our complex management put together some sort of promotion, but I think they forgot to tell the Tenants. Anyways, I decided to grab dinner since they were right outside my door. There's at least one perk of living in the front of the complex! I ordered the Cajun Po Boy sandwich with grilled shrimp and chicken andouille sausage for $12. I added a fresh made strawberry limeade for $3. I was very pleased to see *We Accept Credit Cards* at the top of the menu, so I ordered freely. My sandwich was on fresh french bread and topped with a drizzle of cajun remoulade. The shrimp was nicely seasoned with cajun spice and grilled perfectly, not overdone. My only suggestion was add tomatoes or maybe add mayo to the bread. I found it only slightly dry since french bread is so fluffy and starchy. But the quality and tenderness of the shrimp made up for it. The limeade was perfect to wash it down with. I also ended going back twice: once to get chicken and waffles ($12 large 5 pc chicken) for my partner when he got home later and for a Nutella banana topped red velvet waffle $8, for dessert. They gave us another red velvet waffle topped with fresh berries and white chocolate drizzle free! Best dinner in ages, and all from a random Food Truck in front of my door!

Waffles are so good they need no butter or syrup! I got the 3 dark meat tenders and waffles delish!! The bourbon sauce is amazing!!!! Everything coming off the truck looked great!!!

My daughter was asking one of the lady's on the food truck if she liked to cook and she said yes and asked if you want to come on the food truck. My daughter shrieked yes! She go to cook with them, make her own waffle, and cooked around 10 others. Then, she came back with 2 other friends and they cooked some too! The food was also delicious! Especially the chicken!!

Chicken and waffle it was good chicken well season and cook

If all avocado toasts were like this, I don't know why anyone would choose something else! The sourdough bread was lightly toasted but not so stiff that it scraped up my mouth. The flavors of the toppings gave it a hearty, yet sweet decadence and the aioli really sealed the deal! My server checked on me plenty but not more than was comfortable and the place itself was small, but it wasn't overwhelming in any way. I can't wait to come back and try more menu items! Tried the strawberry colada mimosa as it was the special of the month. I only tasted champagne with hint if strawberry no coconut. Name felt slightly misleading. Food: I got the banana foster French toast - this was really good not to sweet, nice crunchy ends with soft middle. Per usual no combo for French toast so a side of bacon was $4 and so are potatoes. They do offer a platter for $7 but it includes eggs which i did not want. We ordered side of chicken it needed seasoning bad. Service was okay I feel our waitress tried to connect with us but she was a little awkward. Slightly overpriced for food that is pretty simple in my opinion.

They were giving away three waffle options as a part of an event on-campus. The options were Strawberries & Cream, Biscoff & Cream, and Churro & Cream. I chose the Biscoff & Cream waffle. While I only had a bit of the cream, I absolutely loved the crispy and tasty waffle with the Biscoff butter spread on top. I was also impressed by how quickly the Waffle Love team prepared and gave out their waffles. While the event at ASU was listed as a private event, you can see where Waffle Love will be on any given day by visiting the calendar on their website: https://wafflelove.com/waffle-love-arizona#azcalendar. You can see which farmers markets and food truck events they will be. The menu for the food truck is online which includes 10 sweet Belgian waffles, 1 savory Belgian waffle (grilled cheese & bisque), and a build-your-own waffle with six topping options. Also on the website, you can sign up for their loyalty program to earn points with each purchase eventually earning you a discount or free food. By signing up for weekly e-mails, you can also join the birthday club to receive a digital coupon for a free Red Wonder (biscoff, raspberries, strawberries, whipped cream) on your birthday. Waffle Love also offers catering, merchandise, gift cards, and dough balls. While I only saw the food truck at a private event with three options, I can't wait to try it again soon with a larger number of options, perhaps the entire menu of sweet, savory, and build-your-own Belgian waffles!

Their part of a…read moresmall strip mall & they share dining space (and the kitchen?) with the taco place next door. While we were dining, it got very busy & as we were wondering where everyone was going to sit, people started walking through the glass door between the two eateries. Drinks: lots of choices. We opted for the $16 horchata flight (flan, strawberry, mocha, espresso). The former two were my favs because I don't like coffee, but my sister def enjoyed the latter two. Food: hefty breakfast sandwich w/ sausage, cream ala creme (biscuit & fruit), BHH French toast w/ bacon. The sammy was made w/ three eggs so it was a large sammy, kinda messy. I think they need to spread out the eggs a bit more so they cover more space & don't slip out from between the bun as easily. The hashbrowns were perfectly crispy. The French toast was also a hefty serving, especially w/ the bacon tacked on. The biscuit came out w/o the whipped cream, but the young gentleman quickly brought it out when I pointed out it was M.I.A. It was not as sweet as I was expecting; not sure I'd get that again. Service: great. Order at the counter, get a number, sit down, & it's brought to you -- and it was brought out very quickly. There's only one register but as people kept piling in & crowding the front door, the young dude who served us was fast to assist & soon came out w/ a tablet to start taking orders, too. Parking: plenty.

When ready, go up to the counter and order, bringing back a table number for delivery (or to go) The service was very friendly, and the food came out quick. They do have alcohol as well for those who like a boozy brunch. As for the food, I judge places by their biscuits and gravy... And this was one of my favorites. The biscuit was juicy, buttery perfection and the gravy was real, not the bland packet gravy some places use. The bacon came out at the exact crispness for the best melt in your mouth bite, and they were huge pieces. The hashbrowns were good, nothing fancy though. Eggs cooked perfect (over easy for me). I also got the mocha iced latte and it was very chocolate forward, not much coffee flavor, but still tasty. My only complaint, and I mean ONLY complaint, is that price point. I spent $25 for the biscuits and gravy with a coffee and left hungry. I think had they given me two biscuits instead of just one, maybe that would fix everything. Nevertheless, I do recommend trying this place out

After looking around (they weren't busy at this moment), we choose a table closer over to the kitchen and their view window. I always love sitting near the chef's watching them prep and cook. They have a daily special and today was my favorite, eggs benedict. I actually waivered back and forth between this and their pork chop and eggs but ultimately went with the server choice of the benedict. You don't get a dedicated server, they are roaming and everything is there to help and support you, keep drinks coming, serving, etc. Wife choose The Hog & Chick, their version of a basic eggs/bacon or sausage, and toast breakfast. She didn't specify which potatoes and it came with your classic shredded hash browns which was cooked well, crispy on the outside and tender and soft in the center. She asked for the sausage patties, which had a slight kick to them. The dish comes with a slice of their thick sourdough toast and that most delicious home-made strawberry jam. A wonderful, tasty dish! I want to get back to my breakfast...I specifically asked for the home fries and what a disappointment. Yes, I probably could have sent them back but didn't. My biggest issue...they were so, so greasy. I loved the caramelized onions and the bits of rosemary but overall, just way to greasy for me. I did like their hollandaise sauce, although it also needed more lemon flavor. I had the poached eggs and they were cooked to perfection. Ok and lastly, I just want to say that I was a bit concerned with some of the hygiene I witnessed while sitting and watching both the server's area and the chefs in the kitchen. Had an environmental specialist been present, there most likely would have been some writing up. Things like...new server enters space, places both of her cups on the counter, punches in, pulls her hair back into a ponytail, moves her cups off to the side and goes to work. No handwashing observed. In the kitchen I watched a couple of servers and chefs touch hair, face, pull up pants, etc. and continue to cut, chop, serve. Bare hands observed while prepping including a pulling up of pants, the push back of the side hairs and then reaching over, peeling and slicing a banana and putting the pieces bare-handed into a bowl for serving. When you are in the moment, these actions happen without realizing it but as a customer watching...not Kosher. I asked about their outdoor patio area...it's not pet friendly so wanted to share that.
