I came here with my sister and we loved it. Not only do they serve chicken but they serve other Korean dishes too. Come with side dishes. Food and service was great! Portion of food is pretty filling and for the price, it's decent. Overall a great experience. Great for small or large groups! Check it out! Till then, let's eat!

This restaurant was formally Mad For Chicken which was a must visit restaurant for me when I'm in Dallas, so I was very sad when I found out that it had closed. I decided to give Chicken Barn a try and I was very pleased. The restaurant is very rustic with K pop playing on the screens. There is a drink machine at the front with complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and a Korean grain drink which was a very nice treat. The waitress was very friendly and we were promptly seated. I like how the menu is very diverse and you are able to order a wide variety of Korean food. The French fries came piping hot and were perfectly crispy and seasoned well. The chicken was spectacular and was very comparable to the delicious chicken from Mad for Chicken. The batter is very crispy and light, and the chicken was most likely brined and super flavorful. The tofu stew was flavorful but nothing super special. My diagnosis: come here for outstanding Korean style chicken wings.

Wow this place is so good! Some of the best fried chicken I've had around. I got a mix of spicy garlic soy and garlic soy and it's great. The spice level was just nice, not outrageous but also good enough to taste it. The soondobu was pretty good too I absolutely love the beef cut they used. It tastes very tender and is a better cut than typical places use. Overall great service and amazing food I can't wait to go back and try more things!

Super spicy , but so good!

We ordered chicken wings in 2 flavors and a chap chae with Bulgogi which was served with a ban chans. Chicken wings were crispy, juicy and flavorful. Chap Chae was just okay. We did not understand why the soup was miso. It did not match the meal. Portions are small for the prices. Service was good. Place was clean.

Stopped by this Korean chicken spot and really liked the vibe. It has this barn-style atmosphere that feels super fun and laid-back. The staff was really friendly and welcomed me right away, which set the tone. No line on a Saturday afternoon, which was a nice surprise. I went with the soy chicken drumsticks and they hit the spot. It was crispy on the outside, flavorful, and not too heavy. Beer selection was a little limited, but what they did have paired fine with the chicken. Service was solid all around. Definitely a place I'd come back to when I'm craving fried chicken.

When you first walk into the restaurant the servers are so sweet they greet you with open arms. They had some music playing in the background different tv's for you to watch. They also had a bar on the side and different flavors of Soju which was really good. Chicken Barn's Korean-style chicken is a flavor bomb--crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in that sweet-spicy glaze that keeps you reaching for more. Easily one of the best comfort bites around! I would come back and visit again.

Mira was such a welcoming host. She made our 1st experience an amazing one. Food was so good. We felt like we were at the home of a family member. Can't wait to come back.

This Korean chicken spot is a must-visit. The staff are so friendly. The fried chicken is perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, with enough variety to keep me coming back again and again. The beef short ribs are tender, rich, and absolutely delicious. Perfect for a date night. I've loved it so much I've returned multiple times--and it never disappoints.

I really liked the decor of this place! Definitely gave rustic bar which was pretty cool. The fried chicken was great, fried perfectly and the sauces were tasty too. The other dishes, however, were pretty mid. tofu soup: 3/5 Kind of bland, but the side dishes were good pork ribs: 1/5 Extremely dry and flavorless sweet potato fries: 2/5 My mom had gotten them before and said they were soggy, so we asked for them to make them extra crispy this time. They were still really soft so tteok: 4/5 Hard to go wrong with this dish! Would definitely come back for the chicken, but everything else I would pass.

Best Korean fried chicken! Crispy, savory and sweet! Complete treat! The fried chicken- amazing, the short ribs- wow! Juicy, and seasoned to absolute perfection, each bite of their chicken feels like a celebration of every piece is fried to golden excellence without ever feeling greasy. Tender, smoky, and marinated in a rich, savory-sweet glaze that hits every taste note just right, these ribs practically melt in your mouth. To top it all off, the service here is phenomenal. Friendly, attentive staff who treat you like family, with every detail taken care of...You can feel the pride they take in their food and hospitality. Whether you're coming for a casual meal or a special night out, this spot hits every mark, amazing food, top-tier short ribs, and warm, excellent service. An absolute must-visit.

Customer service was great. Kept checking in as we ate but not to the point it was hassling. We ordered 12 piece wings with half soy garlic and other half sweet and spicy. We each ordered a soup as well. The one I wanted ran out so had to opt for tofu soup

My woman and I got there right on time, we stood up at the counter for 6 minutes before someone got to us. And no, it wasn't busy or packed. Let's talk price. We paid for the premium menu, an additional $20 per person for the luxury meat. Total bill came out at $120 for us both, no tip. Those "premium meats" were only allowed 1 serving at a time. Our server was decent. Took his time coming back to us, so despite us being there 90 minutes, we only tried 3/4 premium meats. They give you GIANT short ribs. I'm talking a whole 2 foot piece of meat. They had scissors. At the table. No steak knife. No forks. Chopsticks and full meat scissors. We couldn't even cut it without using our hands. The meat all around was seasoned, okay. HEAVY sauce. Pineapple steak was rubber, the Bulgogi was insanely too sweet, dripping in marinade. The beef belly was outstanding though. The rice? Overcooked. Rubber. No seasoning. Comes in a bowl and you pour it on a flat glass tray. It spills. Everywhere. And then let's talk about the grill at the table. Any other place? It gets replaced instantly once they see it's dirty. Here? Nah. They give you an ice cube and tell YOU TO CLEAN IT YOURSELF. My girlfriend nearly burned herself. It's a gas grille, and you want your PAYING customers to CLEAN it ourselves...? While we eat? Awful experience. For $60 a person I would expect much better food, much easier and convenient service. We both agreed, never again.

The ambiance is okay and unfortunately the restrooms were poorly maintained and smelled bad. Overall the food was just average. The fried pork was not seasoned well, and didn't taste great despite being fried and obviously unhealthy. The black bean noodles were okay and very unidimensional. The noodles did have a good texture and chew. The spicy seafood noodles was also lacking depth of flavor, and it was very underwhelming. My diagnosis: average food with good service.

The servers were kind and hustling nonstop. That said, it looked like they were a bit understaffed for a Saturday lunch rush -- only two employees were handling seating, orders, drinks, and checkout for the whole restaurant. Still, they did their best, and it showed. I tipped generously - well deserved. Ambiance: Clean, nicely decorated, and a fair size space. My party of five was seated quickly with no issues. Food: Unfortunately, this is where things fell flat. The jja jang myun noodles texture and chew were great, but the sauce was underwhelming and lacked depth. The jjampong portion was huge (great value!), but it too was on the bland side -- missing that rich, spicy seafood flavor I was hoping for. The sweet and sour fried pork was just okay, nothing memorable. Overall, Dong Bo Sung is fine if you're nearby and craving this type of cuisine -- you'll definitely leave full -- but for me, it didn't quite hit the mark. I'm a bit spoiled by Paik's Noodle, so this one lands at a solid 3 out of 5.

I love ordering the combos so I get a little bit of everything that I want. The portions are decent if you're hungry & want to finish everything OR if you're not too hungry, eat half, and take the other half to-go for lunch the next day. The service is aligned with what you'd expect from a Korean place. Some of the older ladies working there are so sweet and helpful, especially if you tell them it's your first time, and some of them seem more intimidating and aggressive. Typically there isn't a wait for tables. Only times I've waited for a table are peak weekend dinner hours. The most I waited was maybe 15 minutes, as their service is quite fast for a sit down restaurant. This location has seats where you can store your personal belongings in them!

As for the side dishes/banchan, nothing really stood out. As for the service, we were seated and helped really quickly, but pretty much left alone for the remainder of the meal.
