Yes, yes, yes -- every time! This place never disappoints. The menu selection is huge, with so many great options to choose from. I love the prices, the vibe, and the quick, friendly service. Definitely come here hungry -- this isn't the place for just a light bite (lol, I guess you could, but you'll want to try everything!). Every visit, we end up trying something new, and next time we're definitely checking out some of the awesome-looking drinks!

We came here for the all you can eat! It's around $30/person before tax/tip for dinner. They have a decent meat selection. I liked the beef galbi (short ribs) and spicy pork! I like the sauces and green tea salt that they give you! Our servicer was on top of changing the grill grates and taking additional orders. The interior is nice and clean. Floors are oily because of all the grilling. It's located in a mini Asian-town plaza with lots of parking. I was so stuffed at the end of the meal, but I tried the hotteok with a caramelized brown sugar filling. It was delicious!

I've seen this place a few times and decided to give them a try. There were no greeters at the door, I stood waiting to be seated. The food is overpriced I ordered 2 pieces of meat that came with rice, sides like oil, garlic etc and paid almost $80. The ambiance is not the best. Not a nice experience.

I went for my birthday lunch and our waitress Lauren was great, she was helpful and quick! The meat was just ok, the best one was the marinated beef bulgogi and the side order of the rice paper! They didn't even have fish cake, the chop chae had no taste, it had a strong smoke flavor! All the ban chans weren't that good either!

    Salad, pretty good.

First time coming, very crowded area on a Saturday. This is an all you can eat dinner, but if you don't eat beef you might find the food a little simple. Appetizer, chicken, and rice. They had 3 or 4 types of chicken. All are ok. They bring out the food a little slow and there's only one burner so you can't really cook too much at once. There's also a note there's a 2 hr time limit, but after trying the dishes I didn't see enough to eat. Basically if you don't eat beef, there's no way you can eat your $32's. Good thing we didn't go premium for $53. People do seem to like it, but I would pass.

Went for a lunch which was $20 for the ayce lunch on the weekdays. We had 13 rope. Children under age 5 are free I believe. They have you scan a QR code, but I honestly prefer a physical menu for ordering. Only halfway thru did we realize that the coke drinks were included, so we finally had our pick at that time. I felt the staff was a bit undermanned as the staff was going table to table in a constant flurry of activity, trying to take orders. Perhaps the organization could use some work to streamline a little. Felt our server was great, but with a large group it was challenging I'm sure. They have a lot of cuts of beef which I've not really had before. But after a first and second round I knew what I liked. #5 Beef and the #10 cut. I found that if I cut up the short rib fingers (the rough sinew around the bones) it became more palatable. The calamari steak was great I liked it. And the rice paper is something I usually don't have at KBbq. Also a number of hot dishes that could be ordered as well like tonkatsu and chap chae. I thought the pork belly was really good as was the gen strip. I'll consider Gen again. I like the vibe, staff is good and the variety of cuts is good to see.

first: the food. im going to break everything down white rice- not the best texture but with some soy and sesame sauce it makes a good pairing with the meats korean fried chicken- just popcorn chicken with some sauce on top, nothing crazy. probably a good pick if you have picky eaters ribs- the texure is really good and they come cooked so its a great starter. the flavor my boyfriend and i disagree on: i think its great but he thinks its "kind of whatever. " gochujamg beef belly- a MUST. best thing on the menu ive had so far!! we both love love it. especially the korean flavored one samgybusal- theres more fat than meat so unless you like eating pure fat i wouldnt get this. it also takes forever to cook and the flavor just isnt worth it. wouldnt get again beef bulgolgi- same thing as before, i like the flavor but i cant get over the squishy texture. its really good but man i can only eat it with rice. my boyfriend gave it a 7/10 deep fried mandu- dumplings. theyre dumplings. nothing too special- nothing bad. i wouldnt get again just cause they take up precious meat real-estate in my tummy but if i was craving dumplings for sure gen signature yangyum galbi- REALLY good flavor and texture but it did have bones in it so be careful. spicy calamari- no. maybe its because im so used to fried calamari but i didnt care much for the flavor or texture of this. it also took a bit to cook. idk wouldnt get this again nook gan sal- the flavor of this is great but the texture can be a bit chewy for my liking. my boyfriend said it was just okay so maybe id give this another go next time i come and see if i can cook the heavy texture out of it chadol- i thought this was completely flavorless but my boyfriend said it was the best thing? soo idk take that as u will. worth a try for sure the inside is really date worthy since its so clean and dark with little overhead lighting. the servers are really nice and fast as always but they do try and upsell a lot so be careful with that

The food was good, if not the greatest BBQ I've ever had, but the overall experience was much fun. The restaurant is in the form of a large barn with ample seating and a walk-through line where you can pick out your meat and then any sides and drinks you'd like. I enjoyed having the "conundrum" of trying to figure out which of the meats to try as they stare at you from the smoker, all saying, "Pick me!" My first visit to any BBQ place is nearly always to try the pulled pork, figuring that if they can't get that right, nothing else is likely all that good. That's not always true, but since pulled pork is one of my favorites, it's a good approach anyway. :) I took my platter laden with an abundant amount of pulled pork and then selected corn on the cob, cole slaw, a slice of custard pie, and a sweet tea. After paying, I made my way into the main dining area and selected a high-top wooden table along the wall that was, shall we say, very awkward to sit at based on how the stationary stool was positioned in conjunction with the table, so I moved to a nearby regular table that was just fine. There's plenty of outdoor seating, but based on the temperature that day, I chose to stay inside. Digging in, I found the pulled pork to be good, but it was a little dry and salty. The standard house BBQ sauce was good, though, and the corn on the cob was very nice. The cole slaw was about what you'd expect, and the custard pie was tasty, even if it wasn't the best I'd ever had. The sweet tea was excellent. What I probably loved most, though, was eating all this in that environment, with the Texas-American paraphernalia hanging on the walls and a radio station playing nothing but 80s and 90s country music over the speakers--the years when I loved country the most. I wanted a BBQ experience as big as Texas while I was here, and I got that. For that reason, my visit to Hard Eight was a hit, and I will happily visit again on a future trip.

But our curiosity based on reviews and menu options got us to decide on this place. We seated ourselves as place was basically empty. Ordered Rattlesnake Bites(corn), chips and queso and waffle fried with Mojo mayo! For the main course, 4 of us got different entrees. I got the smashed burger with hill country on bed of nachos, my wife is vegetarian so she got the grilled avocado with Fajita Cantina on bowl of buttered lime rice. Our friends got Brisket on hacienda and then had switch it to hill country as the hacienda had tomatoes in queso and bowl of buttered lime rice and smoked chicken with buttered lime rice. None of the entries had any flavor. Hill country tasted like only BBQ sauce and there was not even a hint of mole. Brisket was fine but damp rice made the entree subpar Grilled avocado wqs grilled and again the rice was damp. Smoked Chicken was hard as well. Appetizers were the only good part of experience. Waitress stopped by and asked us if everything was good, my wife said food was mediocre. There was nothing done to make it right. I managed to finish mine but rest of them left the restaurant without finishing and hungry. 14$+ for an entree and it lacked anything to write about. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for the food or service.

The PB&J - I'm a sucker for jam in a burger and the blackberry jam was refreshing and cool and paired great with the bacon in the peanut butter while still complimenting the meat. The Popper had a lot of rosemary lime aioli which was delicious to bite into. I've been here several times and narrowed down to my favorite 4. Popper - Beef, fried jalapeño & cream cheese, pepper jam, bacon, cilantro, rosemary lime aioli - DID NOT ENJOY. Unfortunately the jam that this burgie came with just overpowered the whole thing and not in a good way. It did not mesh with the rest of the ingredients and the popper had no flavor or filling.
