This place really upsets me. I ordered and paid for 2 meals and when I get home my wife's order is missing. No receipt either... We have had this happen twice before so this place must own me $25 or more. I wish this company would train their employees! I only go here once every 6 months. So every few months I drive through hoping something has changed. I feel really stupid (again) as, nothing has changed. How this place stays in business, I have no idea. Beyond horrible. Worst service, ordered online for in store pickup. Two 3 piece fish dinners. Drove from Sherman to Denison to pick up order and they hadn't even started cooking my order.Then when I get my order and drive back to Sherman the order is incorrect. I got 2 two piece fish dinners . Tried to call the restaurant no answer. So I had to go back the next day and get the fish I didn't receive. The service was fine. The food however, awful! The chicken was so overcooked we could barely bite into it, the mashed potatoes were sour, the okra was over cooked, almost burnt and super greasy. I was there at 10:30 AM, you would think that the food would be piping hot and fresh! WRONG! It was old, we must have been given the food from last night! Ugh. There was NO SILVERWARE AND NAPKINS. I have visited this Chicken express numerous time and every time I come they play like they are out of breast. I've compromised for other pieces or actually made them cook me breast as they offer. Tonight I roll in looking for a 3 piece breast meal and wouldn't you know it......no breast. Only legs and thighs. I think they are penny pinching by either not cooking breast on purpose or trying to pawn other pieces away. The funny thing is I've come by close to closing time and they have tons of breast. Do they get to keep what is cooked and not sold? Are they keeping the good big pieces for themselves at close? I'm not the only person who has noticed this. Usually love chicken express - ordered through the drive through, have been waiting 19 minutes for 2 fish filets and 4 tenders. 3 others had to pull over and wait beside me but they received their food and left before me. My hubby tried to place his order numerous times at the outside speaker tonight 04-20-2021. It was so noisy inside that they couldn't hear him and he couldn't hear them. Why do I keep coming to this location??!!?? Been in line for 28min--12 since I placed my order. I ordered a 3piece dinner and 6hot wings. Wings take 7min according to what they say. Inline for 12minutes--wings should have been done. Instead I get up to the window and they tell me 3more minutes and I need to pull forward. No one else had to so why did I??? No rhyme or reason and no excuse given. Horrible customer service at this location. Save yourself some frustration and go to either Sherman or Durant. read more

Hit or miss. Dont go 2 hours before closing. They dont have anything ready and are ready to close so they give you a 30 min waiting time. Lunch time is the only time but sometimes they are out of things too. read more

To quote the great Charles Barkley, it was Turible! First off, I had to repeat my order three times for the drive-thru attendant to get it right. I ordered a #1 with fries, roll, fish strip, and hush puppies. My chicken had to have been sitting under the heat lamp for some time because the chicken was luke warm and dry. The fries were old and soggy and I never got a roll. The fish thankfully was hot and fresh. I was greatly disappointed and will never eat at this location again. Two stars for the fish. read more

Ordered tenders with mashed potatoes and fried okra. She didn't tell me it would take 6 mins to get the okra but hey it's good so no problem. As I'm sitting in my car starting to get a little impatient, her she comes. Apologized for taking so long, she accident gave my order to the car behind me so she remade mine fresh. Got home, checked my order and not only was it fresh, hot, exactly what I ordered but they had thrown in a couple extra pieces. And they were BIG pieces. Everything was fresh and delicious!!! And they were large helpings too, they didn't scrimp on anything. Chicken Express has always been one of my favorites but this was the first time to try the one here in Denison and I will defiantly be a regular.
