The Weatherford Chicken Express just lost a long time loyal customer. I ordered a 3 piece catfish combo today for lunch. Their prices are really high for this item but I pay it because it's good. I asked for 3 tarter sauce packets and only got two. When I reminded the clerk she told me they charge for them. I've been eating at this location and others for years and always order the same thing. 3 fish, 3 tarter sauce packets. I asked if they were willing to lose a longtime loyal customer over 25 cents, it's the principal of the matter. I was told it is my choice. I replied that no, it's your choice. You choose to lose a loyal repeat customer that's willing to spend 14 bucks for fast food. All over 25 cents. Then the young man who walked up and was standing beside the female clerk said "YEP!" We eat here often and as you can see the service, quality and courtesy is consistently excellent. We went here Sunday night after church and we both ordered the same thing and that was 4 piece chicken tenders. The food was good although not as hot as usual and my order was really 3 1/2 tenders. This is our go to place when we are leaving Csnto after First Monday Trade Days. Everything is always clean. The people behind the counter are courteous, upbeat and very professional. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Wish there was a 0 star rating or lower. Hadn't been in a while so I thought why not! BIG mistake! I got a 4 piece tenders and as always I share with my son. We couldn't look at the chicken, or much less eat it... because it was raw!!! My son was ok with the fries as they have sadly changed, but they were not fresh in the slightest. I stopped in here when I was on a road trip recently. This place is huge! It's like a chicken e and sonic combined because of all of the drive up spaces. Impressive. The place was clean in and out. Nicely landscaped. The staff seemed to be very nice. I ordered chicken tenders and corn nuggets. I enjoyed them a lot. YUMMY! Nice juicy chicken with cream gravy. Let me paint you a picture....It was a cool November evening...the sky darkening as the chilly evening approached quickly. A couple in love, albeit lazy, decided to visit their local Chicken Express. The tall blonde man ordered their meals through the drive-thru. As the couple lightly teased each other, Karen came to the window. Karen must have been having a bad day. There were no smiles or polite words exchanged on her part. After the payment was made and the drinks handed out, karen came back. She had the bag of food in one hand, and a drink in the other. The female customer quickly wondered why Karen was carrying an extra drink. Before the drive-thru windows could open fully she had the bag out of the window and started to walk away. In order to make his betrothed happy, the male asked for condiments. Bbq sauce, hot sauce, and honey. Karen became angry that she was unable to move on to the next customer. She forcefully placed the drink down and walked away, shaking her head. The couple observed Karen rolling her eyes, and walking away with such disdain. Evidently she wanted to move on, and was frustrated with the request for condiments. When she returned with a small brown bag, she quickly shoved it through the window. We know Karen was looking out for our best interest as she was simply proving to the couple why they should eat at home. Thanks Karen. read more

Everyone ate a piece or two, but any more than that would have made us sick. I called the restaurant and was told that they basically didn't believe me. Very disappointing. Got to the window to double check, unpleasant cashier just shook her head. Didn't speak. Saw the digital marquee after I left and they were advertising a freaking special! What? I picked up three dinners during an electrical outage at home. Got home to find we had no rolls and we had even order extras. When returned the next day to talk to the manager about it I was treated like a liar. I was told the policy was no refund unless it was the same day but could not show me where that policy was in print. I had just asked for a refund in the amount of the rolls. The manager told me I could have the rolls. At that point, I didn't want rolls. So, they lost my families business over a couple of dollars worth of rolls. Bad customer service.
