We really enjoyed Chicken Gs! We ordered the Big G sandwich, which was delicious and so were the sauces. We also got an order of loaded G fries and mac and cheese. Everything was great! The guys working were really nice. There were board games on each of the tables, which I thought was nice and they have a prayer area as well!

I love Chicken G's! The tenders were so fresh and crispy! The "Bad Boy" sandwich was bussin bussin and it hit different! The fries were well-seasoned and freshly made. Only critique would be that the person at register didn't give a happy greeting to us as we entered. Great experience, I'm coming back soon!

First off Wow!! What a huge chicken sandwich! Nowadays every food spot is trying to figure out how to skimp you on your food order! These guys went the opposite way! My sandwich was huge, xtra large bun and the chicken was hanging out past the bread! Flavor was awesome! Not your typical hit chicken joint, it's a very clean and breaded chicken sandwich with lots of flavor sauce and I got sliced Serrano peppers and put them on at will!! I didn't get a side this time but the Mac n cheese looked amazing! The sandwich is a lot expensive but the size and quality definitely made up for it! Sandwich alone was over $9 but don't let that scare u off you can get a side and have a meal for 2! The restaurant it self was very nice and clean and they have family games on all the tables

Ok, I'm not a huge fried chicken fan, really, but this place is delicious!! I know it just opened recently but I've already been twice and am already planning to go back again! The food is made to order so expect a bit of a wait but it's definitely worth it, promise!! The chicken is so crunchy and delicious, I can't get enough!! And the inside stays perfectly moist and yummy. Please come and frequent this place!! I want them to do well so I can keep having delicious fried chicken. I've never craved fried chicken before until now and, once you try it you'll understand what I mean! The location is convenient on California and Stockdale, and the building is also fairly new so the space is very clean and well kept. Oh, I forgot to mention, they also have Jarritos drinks which I think is just awesome!! :D Please help this business thrive by frequenting it! I know the other popular fried chicken sandwich place (CFA, which I also enjoy) shares a parking lot basically lol but please try Chicken G's our! You won't be disappointed!!

Had a very disappointing experience which is unfortunate because the 2 previous times had been great. Look at the watered mac and cheese they gave me. It looked like soup and very unappetizing, I had to throw it away. The toast was bland and the fried chicken pieces were just breading with little meat. The "g-sauce" cup was half filled. The canned soda was also flat which just added insult to injury. The chicken sandwiches I've gotten before are good but not worth the risk of getting something as bad as that mac and cheese. Makes you question the quality of everything. $15 for 2 pieces of chicken, might as well go to Cane's or Popeyes.

Recently been curious about this place cause of the huge grand opening sign they have in the front. Decided to try it out and it was an awesome experience! The prices perfectly go along with the serving size and the food tastes really good! Overall I'm glad that Chicken G's opened up a location here in Bakersfield. Not only that we need more restaurants here but we also need amazing food here in which Chicken G's provided for me today. "What's in this photo?" a waste of $50 !

Before I start this let me remind everyone chik fila is literally feet away. From the beginning of us parking to walking in to order the cashier had a funny look on his face .We go to order & by it being our first time , naturally we have questions. He had attitude the entire time ... I ordered two meals and a 5 piece which totaled $50 ! So im expecting some next level mind blowing experience despite the very rude employee. Sandwich was MID ASF , fries were undercooked and salty ASF . The lemonade was the highlight of the night & even then I had to ignore the fact the employee ate directly over my cup while he was waiting for mines to come out . SAVE THE TRIP AND GO TO CHIK FILA OR JOLIBEES , companies like this with employees like this won't last long out here .... Poor service and below avg food won't mix very long

Food was very fresh and amazing. The customer service was amazing. Really enjoyed it. I'll be back again. Ambience was amazing. They have a prayer room. I'm not Muslim, but I respect that.

I went to eat today and I was attended by some kid , His name was Nathan I received amazing service and I felt I got treated amazingly , The Mac and Cheese was absolutely outstanding I loved it and the loaded g fries were so good I definitely would come back again , hopefully the food is as good as it was today 10/10 would recommend the atmosphere was so great read more

10/10 We came here on a whim because we were in the parking lot for something else and it was so so worth it. The service was great! Our cashier was so kind and funny and patient while we checked out the menu, loved her! And the food? Phenomenal. The chicken was juicy and flavorful all the way through, perfectly seasoned, with a little kick to it. I loved it, but it was a little too spicy for my kids. The chicken was absolutely amazing, I've gotten the Big G three times in a. Row and it's very good, the garlic sauce that it comes with is delightful. The wait is longer than usual but it is worth it because the chicken is absolutely fresh and is expected. The service is great, but since the employees are tending to the fresh chicken, maybe a bell should be put at the register, just to get acknowledgment from the staff. Other than that this place is great place to get a delicious, fresh chicken sandwich. read more

Haven't written a review in a long time, but this place deserves one. The chicken was really juicy and crunchy. The Mac n cheese and Cole slaw were amazing. Got the spicy sandwich with the Serrano peppers. Soooo good. This place is definitely a must try. Keep in mind that they make the chicken fresh, so the wait time is worth it. read more

The service was super nice! While you wait (or if you decide to eat inside restaurant) they have board games. And my most favorite part a prayer station! Food was great the chicken was juicy and smelt so delicious. I had no complaints. I felt comfortable & coincidentally found myself at this small business restaurant since I'm from out of town. Stopped by since we always just pass by. Inside is pretty cool, but thats about it. We had the chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, and the G meal(basically chicken, fries, mac n cheese and 2 pieces of bread) We got our food after about 25 minutes later. It wasnt worth the wait. Food had no taste, chicken was bland, fries were okay, mac n cheese had no flavor. As soon as you took a bite out of the chicken it was all oily. I get it, its fried food but when the chicken straight up has no flavor you taste the oil even more. Chicken tenders werent even tenders, straight up was just chicken(believe it was a thigh and chicken leg) We didnt finish the food, as soon as we got home(we live about 5 minutes from the location and didnt stop any where else) my husband ran straight to the bathroom to throw up. So no, I would not recommend this location. Update: Now im feeling sick and having stomach issues. read more

Chicken - Big pieces. To me the best part was the breading on the chicken. Crispy but not hard crunchy. Almost like a rice krispie. Chicken does have a bit of spice to it. Mac and cheese and seasoned crinkle cut fries were good. Loved the coleslaw but it's the "wet" kind which I love. Went back to try the chicken tenders. These are big and crispy too. Chicken was a bit spicy for me but most people would consider it as just having a little "bite" to it. Definitely recommended. read more

I went a couple days ago and they had a connect four which my kids LOVED he got the chicklicious and my daughter the two piece tenders meal, i got the naughty chick and they were SO good, it was very flaky and massive portions! The customer service was excellent and the girl was very nice she entertained my kids chit chat which i know can get annoying sometimes lol but she seemed to have a pleasant time talking with them about their silliness and mentioned they're going to be getting more games to play , it was clean and the music wasn't overbearingly loud, i will be going again soon to check it out! I was out by 5:30 to take my food home. I ordered a Jr. Cheeseburger for my son, nothing on it, just meat and cheese. I didn't specifically say "no sauce" so it did have some thousand island type sauce on it. Honestly, my son had no idea and ate almost all of it before he opened it and saw it and suddenly didnt like it. (He liked it, he just doesn't like things to be different) perfect size for a child's burger. A little bigger than a McDonald's burger. My husband ordered the pastrami which comes with pickles and mustard. He added Swiss cheese and says it could have used a little more than what they added. According to him it was good, but nothing remarkable and it had plenty of meat. No negative comments. I had the bacon cheeseburger which came with chopped lettuce, tomato, pickles, and that Thousand Island type pink sauce. The burger was good, it had the taste I was craving. That flat grill char really hit the spot. My burger was drippy. There was one large tomato slice that fit the entire burger. I had to drop some of the lettuce out because it kept falling out anyway and I wanted to have more of the other flavors pop. There was about two slices of bacon and only 3 pickle chips. I personally love pickles so I would ask for extra next time. I also ordered a large fry and large onion ring to share. I preferred the fries over the onion rings but both were good. I like BBQ sauce with my onion rings but I was not a fan of their BBQ. I don't know how to explain the flavor. It was a runny sauce and had almost this Mexican spice flavor to it. I mixed some ranch with it and I liked it better that way. I also ordered a piece of baklava. They said they get other from someone who makes it at home. Risky? Maybe. Worth it? Oh yeah.
