I ordered the gazeebo burger, and please mind my burger bun being squashed somewhat in the photo as I couldn't resist taking a bite after the good smells coming from the meals right in front of me. The beef and chicken were well seasoned, and if that's your groove, then you will be pleased. Service was quick, and location was clean. There is a toppings bar and happy with the freshness of the veggies for topping the meat. Pretty basic place in that you order at the counter and when they call you that your burger is ready you can take it to the fixin's bar and dress it just how you like it. Fantastic find! Our first time here and we really enjoyed it. The portions are very generous (even the kid's meals). They have a great buffet style set up for all the fixin's, which includes Pico de gallo...awesome! The service was incredibly friendly and our food was ready in less that 10 minutes. I've been going to Gazeebo Burgers (yes they spell it wrong) for almost a decade. They've certainly redecorated and spiffed up the place over the years, but one thing has never changed -- yummy, fresh-off-the-grill burgers. Oh, and the Asian guy behind the counter who has been serving them ever since I can remember! I love that they let you put the toppings on yourself (so pile on the tomatoes, all ye fellow tomato lovers!). Their fries are also excellent -- thick-cut, but rarely soggy. This is a place where you'll see everyone from kids in sports uniforms to elderly couples. It's got a "neighborhood joint" feel, no frills, but comfortable and homey. Not quite something to drive out of your way to get, but if you live in the area, it should definitely be on your list (and probably already is). In all these years, I've never actually eaten IN the gazebo (yes, they do actually have one next to the parking lot), but it's quite charming and would be nice if you're there to linger and chat (and not interested in the sports games on the TVs inside). read more

2nd time eating here. Last time left an impression of a solid turkey burger seasoned well and a nice bun. I had forgotten about the "salad" bar. Reminiscent of the veggie bar at a Fuddruckers. It's part of a nice little strip mall. Hidden near he back. Bit of a hodgepodge setup as far as the tables go but adds to the mom and pop feel of it. Fries are outstanding. Burger was delicious and topping were fresh. Little on the pricey side bur doable. I'll be back. Nice ambiance to the place and great food. read more

Why go to the new and hip Village Burger Bar when you can kick it old school at grampa Gazeebo? Yes, they actually have a gazeebo and you can eat in it if you so desire. But since the summers are quite hot in Texas, I usually opt for the indoor venue. Service? Pretty much non-existent at Gazeebo. But who needs service when you pick the food up when it's ready, self-adminster toppings salad-bar style, and pour your own drink via the soda fountain? Oh, I suppose they do call your number (on an antique barely understandable PA system), so I suppose that's SOME service. My father doesn't like this joint. But he also doesn't have much of a sense of humor. I love it. But mainly because Village Burger Bar doesn't have a veggie patty option and Gazeebo does. Oh my gosh!!! Why have we not come here before ??? We will be back. My husband loved his burger - mushroom, Bacon and Cheese. I had the most amazing Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Avocado and Cheese. They have a condiments/ Extras bar so you can fix your sandwich anyway you like. Fries were great too. Everything was so fresh and gorgeous presentation. One Customer got a Salad - it looked so good. Burger is ok. I had the old fashioned bacon and cheese. It's a third pound burger but mashed flat. It was too flat for me and didn't feel/eat like a third pound. Also, the bread was too big and much. A more small bun and a fatter - juicer patty would be better but it's a flat burger so they need a large bun. It's open salad bar style for the fixings with is cool but just basic. I also had sweet potato fries which were nice. They were wafffle style which I hadn't seen in a while out eating so that was cool. Fries were actually the best part of the meal. It's a nickle and dime place that will charge you for the burger, sides and drinks separately. So pricing add up. My bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries with a WATER no soda ran to $11 and change with tax. Can only imagine if I had a drink and maybe added mushrooms which was an additional $1.25. Overall, it's ok, three stars. A neighborhood burger place. But honestly, I would have been better off going to Waterbuger or any fast food burger spot. Stopped by here for lunch Sunday after a trip to Central Market across the street. The decor is fine, if a bit worn. Hubby and I both had chicken fingers and fries. Food took a while to get to us, but was hot and cooked well when we did get it. I didn't care for the dipping sauce-tasted like mayo and mustard mixed together, so used regular mustard from the condiments bar. Food was fine but basic. Lots of families stopping by-overall I had the impression this is one of those neighborhood places that people/families have been coming to for years. You get A LOT of food. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with avocado and it was really tasty. I was able to smother it in all the toppings my heart desired and even had enough left over for a second meal later that day! We ate here for lunch a few weeks ago... a decision based solely on their proximity to Nothing Bundt Cakes. I ordered the Avocado Burger with Swiss, but some how when they called my number there was no Avocado anywhere. Apparently the cashier didn't charge me for the correct burger, but she quickly had the cooks on the line add some avocado to my burger. The burger wasn't cooked to the death like some places are prone to do (*cough* Twisted Root *ahem*). It was a good sized burger and I only ate half of it and half of my sweet potato fries. One of the reasons why it is a must having a burger not overcooked, is so that it is still edible when I take the leftover half of it home and reheat it for dinner. Lacked a lot of flavor in general. The ranch had a good runny consistency, but tasted like nothing. Same for the meat, same for the fries. So consistency must be their strong suit. Burger combo at lunch can get expensive real quick if you do an add on. For nearly 10 bucks just to add some bacon, it wasn't really worth it. Their toppings bar was decent though. I liked the availability of pico and chopped red onions along with the rings. Just the pure fact that ranch was out amongst the commoners and you didn't have to ask for it at the counter was a bonus.
