It was hot, it was yummy it was delivered with awesome service by Tami (my car hop!!). The fries? They were hot and awesome. Watch out on those fries...let em cool a bit. I will be back for sure soon! Strange to think this place could get full, but I bet it does on a daily basis at lunch/dinner. 1st spot you see might be the last spot you see during a busy lunch/dinner rush.

It felt rough on the outside but on the inside it was smooth and soft. The mac and cheese looked like it didn't have a lot of cheese but it was on the bottom of the container. The chicken looked like it was plain because it didn't have any salt or spices on top, the back was burnt black. The mac and cheese was light when I stabbed it with my fork. The skin of the chicken was very light and the inside was smooth. I hope you enjoy your food but I would recommend the mac and cheese and chicken. I would suggest to include a preferred salsa requested by the customer.Plus, a lemon slice. Salsas were not offered by the cashier. I am planning to come back next week. This is my favorite El Pollo Loco location. The staff is super friendly. The food is fresh and well prepared. You can tell they take pride and what they do. I have been coming here for 6+ months, about 1-2 times a week. I've never had a bad experience. If you are on a diet I'd recommend the 3 piece leg and thigh meal, comboed with a side salad and steamed broccoli, makes this meal filling and low in callories. Keep up the awesome work!! I visited Pollo Loco on Forest Lane today and had an AMAZING lunch! The tortilla soup was every bit as good (or better!) than other much higher priced Mexican restaurants! The manager was so friendly and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. I'm not used to going to a fast food restaurant and being treated as if I'm in a high end establishment. Wonderful ambiance and great food. we asked our server Jamie his recommendation between the steak enchiladas or the chimichanga. He instead recommended the Chile Relleno, and it was delicious. Not as filling as we had hoped, but very tasty. the inside of the establishment is huge and can accommodate a lot of customers. I came in a few minutes before close, not realizing they closed at 10 and instead of being annoyed or rushing me out the door, they were still so welcoming and kind.
