The service is absolutely horrible they never pick up their phone. I guess they just have it there for show. You could call anytime of day and they won't pick up the phone. I came for quick bite since I was in the area. Service was bad young lady taking orders inside seemed annoyed was not welcoming. She literally looked like she didn't like working, never said hello or thank or even smiled. I had the most disgusting food order ever yesterday!!! I have been to this location many times before and have never been disappointed. However, not on 9/14/24 at 9:07 pm! I went through the drive through and ordered a chicken avocado taco and a classic tostada with avocado. I had ordered this before and it was a go to for me. The person working the drive through (a young female in a black El Pollo Loco shirt and fringed jeans) was RUDE! The way she slung my food out of the window and closed it was nasty work! She then preceded to grab her phone, look at it and walk away. When I got my food home, I was disgusted! When I bit the taco, I realized it was ice cold then I looked inside of it, that's when my stomach started to roll! It looked like someone vomited in it! The avocados were old, soft and brown and the chicken was hard as a rock. So, I put that to the side and thought "maybe the tostada is better" but NO! I looked at it and it had more old, soft, and brown avocados on it! The spanish rice was hard and stuck together! The beans were dried out and none of the ingredients looked fresh AT ALL! I didn't even bother to put that in my mouth at all, it just looked too disgusting! I spent (wasted) $17.61 on this mess and I am beyond upset. I didn't take it back because the location was not convenient to my home, but when I called no one answered the phone! I would NOT recommend going here! read more

We tried this place for lunch because I had a Groupon cash back deal (yes, it really works). I was expecting food that is more Mexican given the name. The chicken is ordinary chicken cooked on a grill. The skin was crispy but did not have much flavor because it was not seasoned. I thought there would be Mexican seasoning or something. They offer tortillas and there is a salsa bar, but that to me does not warrant the Mexican name. My chicken was good, not quite as tender or juicy as Cowboy chicken, but it was not bad by any means. The mashed potatoes were made from a box. The corn was interesting and along the Mexican theme. The wife's chicken avocado bowl was good and she enjoyed it, but I am not sure it is better than Chipotle. The restaurant was clean and the service was fine. Overall, we had a perfectly fine lunch but it certainly is nothing special. read more

First time coming to this location and it took forever for someone to take my order and when they finally decided to take it, the young girl( wearing a dark red hoodie, young black female) taking my order had a whole attitude as if i had interrupted her conversation with her coworker. Never heard of this place but it popped up down the street from my job, so why not give it a try? I was a little apprehensive after reading ALL 3 reviews, but later found out that it was a lot better than I had planned for. I got the 3 piece (yes I was starving) leg and thigh combo with a drink, rice and beans, corn tortillas, and 2 Churros. The chicken was juicy with crispy skin. The cilantro sauce that comes with your meal was PHENOMENAL!! The rice and beans were...meh. I haven't had Churros in a long time, so it came to me with great satisfaction to revisit my childhood. Overall the food was good. Everything, except for the Churros, of course, was really lacking in salt...kind of bland. My purse isn't complaining. Where can you get a filling lunch, a drink, and dessert for UNDER $10 in Dallas? I'll definitely return...I'll probably try different. read more

Then open unfolding my receipt I see that they gave me a fake 10 dollar bill!!!!!!!! I was super mad. So I went back to them they confirmed it fake but the manager Darrian gave me a 10 dollar credit. I then came the next day and the female manager told me she didnt know about a credit and tried to argue with me about the situation. I called corporate but this location is a franchise. As much competition as this type of food has here in Dallas, I definitely suggest they step up their bird game. Their chicken is tasty but their pieces are extremely small. I grabbed an 8 piece box of legs and thighs and my family of three finished it. Normally we would have left over pieces for another meal later. They also have bowls and salads, as well as their standard chicken family platters. This particular location is very difficult to get in and out of during rush hours traffic but their drive thru moved fairly quickly. read more

Waiting about 5 min, then someone finally says "LET ME KNOW WHEN YOURE READY" I provided my order. When I got through with my order the person just said "thank you". I asked for clarification, wasn't sure if that meant pull forward or what exactly it meant. When I asked what they said, no response, asked again, no response. Pulled around. Person asked me a question, but didn't even look at me so I was not able to understand as she was speaking to her screen. Just very rude. Did the same thing when I asked for my total. Just very rude as if I was interrupting her day. Then I got home and my entire order was wrong. I ordered rice and a side salad, I got beans and a salad. One thing the restaurant was very dirty, I was there an hour and it wasn't very busy and the tables stayed dirty with trash and stains. Tried this place twice within 3 days still couldn't get the order right. The second time really put a damper on things. Ordered 4 chicken tacos, 2 of them had sliced room temp. chicken and the other two appeared to experienced some kind of grinder that imitadated to be chicken. Everything had a bad burnt taste to it and no flavor in the chicken. Asked for red sauce and got a ton of avoacado sauce packets but no red sauce. The first time, the pinto beans were fresh and tasty but the second time, looked like ranch style beans. There are no side prices on the orders so your little bowl of rice or beans is $4.19 apiece.
