This was my first time there and after reading all the great reviews I was expecting a similar experience but unfortunately that didn't happen. I ordered a large Greek salad with grilled chicken and I admit the chicken was good but they weren't very generous with the feta cheese and I asked the young man at the counter if a stuffed grape leaf was included with the salad since I love them and I would've paid for it but he assured me it's included which they are in most Greek restaurants but when I got home no grape leaf and I had to pay for pita bread also. The place was cute and looked very clean but I'm wondering if there isn't a communication problem with the counter help who was a polite young man. I will try them again but I'll try to make myself understood and I hope they will consider being a little more generous with the feta cheese . Today for dinner, I just felt like having a Greek salad with a chicken stick. I am not regretting my choice at all since everything was so good! The salad was incredibly refreshing on this hot day, and the chicken stick next to it was the perfect addition. The service here is always amazing. I always call ahead of time so my food is ready when I arrive. The location is consistently clean, too. If you have not tried this place yet, definitely check it out! Greek salad with grilled chicken and a pork souvlaki added on. Fresh veggies, delicious Kalamata olives, little fetas and tasty salad dressing. Good, no frills spot for pita take-outs. I tried the gyro sandwich with fries. The sandwich was flavorful and was generously filled and they put sauce on the side which was helpful to avoid the sandwich from getting soggy. I think it is a tad pricier than gyros elsewhere, but it is so close and convenient for me. A good one to add to my regular rotation of carry away spots. read more

I was looking for Greek take-out convenient to my route with good food. I picked Chicken Gyro and it is a keeper. First the lady who took my order was polite, well spoken( no accent) and extremely helpful. I passed by they brought my order out to the car and I was on my way. I ordered a large Greek Salad which was Fresh and delicious, I also ordered a Chicken Souvlaki Sandwich which of course came on Pita, and it too was fresh and delicious. They have a fairly extensive menu so this little Gem is going to work out well for me in the future. Check your order! Ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken the other day, no peppers. Picked it up on my way to an event. Got there, opened the salad, lots of peppers and no cheese, no dressing, no grape leaf. It was so dry. Ugh. I was outside so no options to add dressing. I called because I was no annoyed. I can't eat peppers and had to pick them all out. They did offer to bring to me one to replace, but I was no longer in hicksville, I was in massapequa having a car meal waiting for my event to start. I just visited this restaurant on Saturday. Let me start off by saying i absolutely loved it, the food was excellent and i highly recommend it. Now on to the specifics. The two young ladies that greeted me at the counter were genuinely halpy to take my order and repeated it back as well as explain what came with what allowing me to order correctly which i appreciated. They also informed me the portions were huge which they did not lie they were. We basically ordered thebwhole menu and everything was excellent. The taziki (sorry for the spelling) sauce was the perfect blend, some places use alot of mint but here it was just right. The salad was huge and we only got the small. I asked them for extra feta and the accommodated with a ton. Was very happy with that. Rotisserie chicken was on point and great flavor. The gyro meats were very tasty and not over grilled. The store was nice and clean and bright which to me sets the tone for a good meal. Lastly the girls at the counter check the order for accuracy and even said to me everything is there i promise which i thought was really genuine.
