There was only one other party in the restaurant on a Wednesday night. The chicken was very cripsy. It was kinda hard to eat, though, because the size was so big, and the sauce would drip out. I didn't like this combination much and probably won't get it again. I'm sad they don't do the bone-in wings anymore. Those were probably the best and my go-to. This place is adorable! I love the bright colors and chicken decor on the wall. Everything we had here was excellent but earning the pieces for chicken are quite large! We also got the ttekboki but probably would add ramen or something else. I wish they had more sides listed, we did ask for rice but it wasn't on the menu. They also need maybe more banchan side dish options to offset the fried chicken, perhaps some vegetables?! I did love my cabbage in the ttekboki but I needed more veggies too. We had some leftover and air fried the next day and still delicious too!!! The crunch, the texture, the sauces, oh and the bulgolgi fries are a must! If you're looking for fried chicken that slaps, this is the place. Today I went in and got the usual 6 piece bite meal and it was amazing! Ate it at home and somehow the fries still here crispy, the chicken perfectly cooked, and everything blended together perfectly. They have the nicest staff working here and they are always very friendly. The owner is from Korea and trust me, they know how to cook here. Back at this place again! They have the best fried chicken. My favorite flavor is the Angry Soy because the other flavors are slightly too strong for me. However, the Angry Soy is able to attain this perfect balance of sauce and chicken flavor. The skin was so thin and crispy; I can never get enough of these! The bone-in wings are definitely better than the boneless ones. Although the boneless are more convenient to eat (and cheaper), the skin is thicker, and the meat is not as tender. The crispy chicken salad was really good, too. It's great for those who would like a healthier option. I liked the salad dressing -- it's sweet, and I could taste some mango flavor (not sure if it's actually mango, though). The owner was very nice and allowed my friends to reserve tables for a birthday party. They even played the birthday song in the background for us! The staff member was super nice, smiled and offered some good information about the flavors of the sauce and spicy levels. The seating was ok and there is a bit of seating as well. The food was pretty good and I was really surprised to be honest. The sauce was sweet and savory and the rice was delicious too. The fries were good but nothing special with them. I came to get Korean Style Chicken. But on the menu they had "Crispy Chicken Tteakbokki!" I love Korean Chicken and Tteakbokki so I had to try it. To my surprise it was delicious. The Chicken came crispy and the rice cake was cooked just right. NOTE: Tteakbokki was spicy for me. So I think it would be Very Spicy for most people. But to appreciate Tteakbokki it has to be spicy. This please made it right. The young lady that took my order was kind and nice. The Crispy Chicken Tteakbokki took about 5-10 min. That is about the it takes to make it fresh to order. Incredible food. Incredible service. Went around 2 PM and we were the only people there. They let us try samples of each sauce before we ordered to see what we liked best. We got the boneless sweet red and Bone in creamy onion. I thought the bone in tasted better than boneless, but both were great. Both sauces were also great. I can't emphasize enough how good the customer service was. They were very friendly and helped us ensure we'd get the best meal for us. Afterward they also asked our opinions and what they could improve. They're currently doing renovations so some options/days might not be available like normal but I was still able to get exactly what I wanted. Maybe the best fried chicken I've had but it's sort of hard to compare to traditional fried chicken with the sauces. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I'm pretty sure this is a family owned restaurant so service time is slower since there's only one cook in the back. Be prepared to wait especially if it's during busy hours. We got the fried chicken with sweet red and golden soy sauces and crispy chicken tteokbokki. The chicken pieces are quiet large and super crispy and tender. Made from nice juicy chicken thighs. The sweet red sauce taste like sweet chili sauce and the golden sauce taste like sweet garlic sauce. I preferred the golden sauce because of the depth of flavor. The chicken tteokbokki was alright. It has some cabbage and onions with fish cake and rice cake topped with fried chicken. The soup base is gojujang based so it was pretty spicy. I just wished it had more veggies. read more

I came for the chicken but stayed for the Ice Ho (an amazing cinnamon and sugar flavored Korean street pancake with soft serve ice cream). Some might describe this restaurant as southern fried chicken meets K-pop inspired spicy nirvana. (Don't worry they have some non-spicy options for the faint of heart). Personally, the food was alright. I tried the Cream Onion and Golden Soy. I wasn't a huge fan of the Cream Onion (it tastes like sour cream & french onion) and I preferred the Golden Soy, though the Golden Soy was more liquidity than I'd like. My order did get messed up, which I can understand, though instead of taking it back and giving me the correct order, they just gave me a side of the sauce so I had to dip one flavor into another. Overall the flavors didn't wow me and I would appreciate more flavors to choose from. I also got the bulgogi fries, they were also just alright. There was many toppings which was nice, but there was so much sauce that the fries underneath got soggy. I thought it was an odd combo but it tasted too good to even bother asking lol As I was getting a refill on my drink I had the opportunity to speak to the owner. She was extremely nice and during our conversation she explained how the restaurant came about. I was humbled by her story. Our conversation was so pleasant that I promised I would leave a review! As we finished up our meal the owner came to our table with these two rice patties & explained that they were a desert that the restaurant offered. They were amazing! It had cinnamon in the middle and had a soft buttery texture. My wife's cousins don't eat many sweets but after trying these rice patties they were hooked! The food is definitely Korean style. The decorations in the pics that are posted all around the restaurant were designed & created by the owner herself. I didn't take pics of the food because it was after our conversation and eating that our food had been devoured so you'll have to refer to the other reviews as to what the food looks like. Decided to give this place to go. It's in a little kind of small strip mall. The space is clean but very straightforward. Nothing fancy. They specialize in breaded chicken with different sauces. The cashier did a great job explaining everything on the menu to me and I ended up getting the meal deal with jumbo wings and red sauce. It was delicious! Far and away the JUICIEST fried chicken I have ever eaten. Wow! Wow wow wow. The breading was super crispy as well, the sauce was delicious, and the woman at the counter was so sweet and personable. The 8-piece chicken is a good-sized meal for one person. I ordered 16 pieces so I could try two sauces and ended up taking about half of them home. The "red" sauces are your typical Korean-export palate: gochujang, gochugaru, all the gochu-things. The Angry Red has a bit of a kick but nothing to worry about, so get that if you typically order your Indian/Thai/Vietnamese food anywhere north of "mild." It's a little sweet, a little salty, and completely addictive. The Onion sauce wasn't my favorite--a little overpowering for the chicken, would probably be really nice on a salad--but I think it will be a hit with a lot of people. Love the food here but the last two experiences there have been terrible. Last time we went there, we waited for 45 minutes for our food. We didn't get upset and we understood that they were busy. They gave us free drinks and we were fine with it. I asked if we can order plain tenders, since my kids are picky and they don't eat anything with sauces; they said they couldn't do it; that was ok. Went to Chick Fil A and got them food instead and since they were busy, my kids were almost done with their food, and finally our food arrived. No one told us that we couldn't bring outside food. We went their as a family again the other day, since we love their food. I knew there was nothing there for my kids to eat, so I got them the same food, so we can eat as a family. Someone told my kids that they couldn't eat outside food, though there were no signs at all in their restaurants that it was not allowed. We ended up packing our food and we left and ate the food at home. We eat out a lot and we understand that some restaurants have rules around this. And we would normally ask if we can bring food, since my kids are picky. If they don't allow outside food, the least they can do is put a sign and I'd be happy to oblige to it. Also, if they want more families to eat there with kids, perhaps they can allow modifications to their menu to accommodate the kids. If they can't, then allow families to bring food for the kids, so the adults can eat with their family. This is not a family friendly restaurant based on our experience, so don't bring your kids here. Their food is great but it's not kid friendly. read more
