Utensils wrapped in plastic reflect the casual vibe. Quick to order, eat, and leave - if necessary.

4.5 stars. Best Japanese curry in Utah County! My son and I both had a Pork Katsu Curry bowl. It was filling and flavorful, with a good balance of meat, rice, and curry. The gyoza was a little chewy, and the filling lacked flavor (fix it and I give 5 stars). The drink cups were a little small. The service was very friendly and helpful. We liked the casual vibe, with Japanese dramas and anime on the TVs on the walls. We are excited to try other dishes there.

This place is amazing and it specializes in one type of dish! I know from some friends of mine that this is how you would find restaurants in Japan... they make one dish and they make it excellently! The seating was great for lots of small to medium groups but the chairs are a bit hard if you're sitting for a long time lol. The staff member who helped me was amazing and greeted everyone that walked in and said bye to everyone as they left. Of course, it would mean more to you if you know just enough Japanese to understand or say it back! The katsu was soooooo delicious and it was a pretty big helping so you could end up having some leftovers. The rice was the perfect steamed and sticky quality you want for chopsticks and the curry sauce was heaven for sure! I would highly recommend this place over and over again!!!

This is a great option for downtown Provo. Price is reasonable, fast and kind service, and great options. I ordered the curry (not the dish everyone told me to get) but something that caught my interest at the time. Although the dish was filling, it was a pretty basic meal. The flavor was kinda flat, just one taste through the whole dish. The meat was well cooked and the rice portion is awesome. My wife and friends order the bowls and after trying hers, I can see why. I intend to come back and try the more popular dishes to see if it can knock this up to 5 star. I have a hunch that it will. Love the simple decor, feels clean and open.

Delicious food. We were a party of 7 on a Wednesday over the lunch hour so it took about 15-20 minutes for the orders to come up. The food was freshly made and great flavors in every dish. The restaurant is a "help yourself" in terms of water, napkins, chopsticks & utensils. You give your order almost like you do at a fast food restaurant - to a person (very friendly) at the front. Parking is street or any nearby locations. You might need to walk a few minutes.

Good service. Quality of food was generally good for Utah. Our group was about 8 people and we all had an enjoyable meal. Nice employees.

There is something about cooking your own food at the table, at exactly the temperature you want, in exactly the amount you want, that turns a meal into an experience worth repeating. The concept is all you can eat Korean style tabletop grilling with two menu options. The Umami Buffet Experience covers a generous selection of quality meats, and the Full Premium Experience adds New York strip steak, Japanese short ribs, lamb, tri tip, shrimp, calamari, and cow tongue. We ordered one of each to compare. Honest verdict: the regular buffet holds its own and the premium upgrade did not justify the price difference enough to order it again next time. The table sauces are worth exploring. The roasted sesame is my personal favorite, but the miso apple and garlic shoyu are both worth trying alongside your meat. A selection of vegetables comes with the grill as well. One welcome improvement since my last visit: the ventilation setup has been redesigned so the smoke no longer follows you home in your clothes for the rest of the evening. A small thing that makes a real difference. The time limit is around three hours, which is more than enough. Forty minutes at the grill was plenty for us. Now for the honest part. The cold buffet side needs work. The spring rolls were a miss, the Hawaiian mac salad was forgettable, and the only sushi option was a California roll that did not taste fresh. For a restaurant that executes the grilling experience this well, the appetizer and salad bar deserve more attention. Four stars for the meat, the experience, and the improved ventilation. Come hungry, focus on the grill, and set your expectations accordingly for everything else on the buffet.
