Tasty but greasy! The flavor is good, and the crunch is satisfying, but the chicken is a bit too oily for my taste.

Chicken breast, 4 piece tenders. Honey Biscuits. Good!

Walked in and the worker was behind the counter scratching his ass. I just left didn't want him to be handling my food after that.

Pretty good for fast food. The chicken was hot and crunchy. Not too oily. Could use more flavor. Still, I'd eat it again.

I also did some research and this really isn't "gas station chicken" since the company started 3 years ago as a food truck and they are now a franchise opening in stores, in this case a gas station.

I went downstairs (we were at Valley Medical Hospital) to get Ronnie since he wanted to come to visit Gavin, and so since we saw food trucks, we figured we should grab lunch. + Classic Chicken Sandwich for Gavin + Chicken Tenders and Fries for Ronnie + Nashville Hot Chicken for me (opted for spice level 5) Food did not take long at all. They accept cards. You don't have to tolerate/like spicy foods to enjoy a meal here. The chicken was not greasy and was crispy and juicy as well. Fortunately, a little after we devoured our meals (Gavin barely finished half of his), we were given the discharge approval since he was able to hop/use the walker and use the wheelchair. Different food trucks line up the drop-off area, convenient for staff and visitors to fuel up. It's never fun to be at the hospital. The hospital displays the QR code so you can see which trucks will be there, so you can plan ahead.

The husband and I came here for lunch on a weekend. Parking wasn't too bad, but because it is located in downtown area, expect some challenges. There was a line out the door when we arrived, but it moved at a quick pace. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side with limited seating indoor and out. The husband and I ordered the Grilled Cheese Nashville Hot and Chicken Tenders. The Grilled Cheese was tasty with a nice balance of heat and tanginess from their slaw. The Chicken Tenders were appetizing, but it wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped for. It does come with sauce on the side, which helped. Staff were nice and service was efficient despite the growing line. Although a bit pricey, I think their chicken is good and worth trying out if you're in the area.

Everything packed securely in a brown paper bag. The portions are great and the chicken, rice, and veggies provide a balanced meal. A bowl of chicken broth is also included. Of course, you can't forget about the sauces when eating Hainan Chicken Rice. You get to choose 2 sauces and my go-to is the Ginger Scallion Oil plus either the Thai Ginger Soy or Singapore Chili Sauce.

Around 11:30am when I arrived, I saw bags and bags of take out on the cashier station already. We chose to dine in since they have about 10 tables for small parties. In a hot summer day, their AC is pumping and we were comfortable. Not a lot of decorations, their focus is on the quality of the food, which I like. You order via their 2 kiosks. Strangely, on their Hanan Chicken Box order, I was only allowed to choose white meat with or without skin. Since it's early of the lunch hour, I was disappointed that no dark meat was available. I waited for my name to be called. For twice I thought my name was called and it was not. They had no fork or napkins on the take out area, only spoons and knives and chopsticks. Finally my name was called but I was asked if I was ok to switch to dark meat since they ran out of white meat. Hm, then why was the menu not consistent? Anyhow, happy with the change. The food tasted good. Love the chicken broth, love the chicken rice, and love the ginger scallion sauce. The chicken meat was tender and the salad was fresh, nothing to complain about of the food. Just wish service was a bit smoother. Btw, join their rewards program if you are a fan of their food. The reward dollars off an order isn't a bad deal.

And first we were alarmed because we could see no one was in the establishment... maybe not a good sign. But when we walked in, we noticed one of the employees diligently wiping down all of the tables - and the entire place was sparkling clean. She stopped what she was doing and greeted us behind the counter. We were mulling over the four simple menu choices, and she steered us to splitting one. We decided on the Number #1 - sliders - Hot spice level cause I like it hot. When our food was ready, we were shocked, and I do mean, shocked, to find they had split the meal for us. Two different trays, two different plates of fries and one slider each. I'm not sure I've ever experienced that at a fast food restaurant, or even a semi casual dining place without specifically asking. Nice touch customer service wise! To be honest, I wasn't expecting much as far as the food goes. After all, it's chicken and it's semi-fast food chicken. I couldn't have been more wrong. The generous, all white meat tender on the slider was perfectly moist and delicious! The Hot level of seasoning was perfect for me, but a little much for my husband. I think they spell it out correctly on their menu board... Hot-feel the burn, Medium - perfect heat. The coleslaw and the pickles on the slider were a perfect cooling accompaniment. I'm pretty picky about my coleslaw and theirs was very good. The special sauce on the side also added some Yum factor. The fries were hot, crispy, and delicious. Overall, this was so much better than I was expecting. Besides the food being really good, the employee who was cleaning when we walked in and then helping us from behind the counter was absolutely delightful.

When I came by, there wasn't really any other patrons there so picking up my food was easy. Inside was very decorative too, it has that mom-and-pop vibe to it. Kao Gai Sap (5/5) - The chicken was soft and juicy on the inside, and crispy on the outside. It came with a chili dipping sauce, and I opted for white rice instead of chicken rice. This has to be by far the BEST chicken I've ever had. The chicken was seasoned to perfection. Cucumber was crisp and refreshing, although I do wish there were a few more slices. Would definitely order this again. Also, this Kao Gai Sap also came with a small portion of soup which was also equally as good! When you order this, make sure to ask for it LAAB STYLE! Crispy chicken skin (5/5) - I mean it's fried chicken skin, but I'm pretty sure they used the same salt/pepper seasoning on this as they did with the Kao Gai Sap, which gave it a nice flavor profile as opposed to being plain. The lemon-pepper dipping sauce was the perfect pairing with the chicken skin. The lemon flavor was there as well as the pepper, but both were very mild and didn't overpower each other. That dipping sauce made a HUGE difference. ALSO GET THIS LAAB STYLE! Will definitely be coming back because I'm hooked now. No one does chicken like Tuk Tuk!
