Have to update my review. Its still big fire. I've had this place twice. My first time was through Uber Eats. We got the Mushroom chicken plate. Let's talk about portions. Because Chicken Paddy came all the way through for portions. The chicken was phenomenal. It comes over a bed of rice? I believe. It's small rice. Side of spinach and cherry tomatoes. And a side of their delicious sweet corn. Something about the texture of the sweet corn that I really enjoy. Combining the chicken, rice, and some corn. It's the perfect bite. So it definitely passed the take out test. The second time I got it, I wanted to go in and eat there. Chicken Paddy is located in Fuze Bar. When you walk in it's a little dark but who cares the food is great so location for me is a non factor. But it's not like a big group dining kind of vibe. It's like if you and two friends wanted to grab a bite there's little tables and chairs. You'll receive your meal in a plastic takeout container. So no regular plates and silverware. Which again, I don't mind because I'm there solely for the food. Eating there was amazing. Food was piping hot. Delicious & ready to go into my belly. It's comfort food. I got the same dish again. I told myself I was going to try a different dish but the mushroom chicken was too good to pass up on. Maybe third times a charm and I'll try something different....unless the mushroom chicken has plans to over throw that plan. Because...it's just that good. read more

FOOD The mushroom chicken plate goes SOOOO HARD. Holy cow. Portions are huge too. But regardless I almost finished it because it's THAT good. I'm so excited to try the others. All the sides are very unique and the plates are really well balanced with veg protein and carb. But I will say I added chili flakes and a bit of garlic salt when I got home hahaha. I did not know what to think of Chicken Paddy. I just noticed it randomly pop up on Doordash and decided to order it because everything sounded really good. I went to the ghost kitchen located in North San Jose by the airport to pick up my order. I have been in love ever since. I have tried 3 of their entrees and each one has been absolutely fantastic. The high price is totally worth it because the portions are big and the food is practically gourmet. You get what you paid for and you'll have enough for lunch and dinner. I have tried, the chicken tika masala, the mushroom chicken and the soy garlic chicken. Let me first start off by saying, the Korean cream corn is probably the best corn I ever had. I kept on saying wow for every bite. I think I will order a side or 2 of them tomorrow because I can't stop thinking about it. All of the sauces for each dish has so much flavor and all of the vegetables are sauteed with some kind of spice or sauce and has so much flavor to them. So good! I got the Brazilian chicken. The chicken was packed with flavor. It was also tender, Juicy and had lot spice in it. The portion size was also huge. I have to echo the other reviews that the portions are really big! All of their chicken entrees are $16 and come with rice and vegetable sides. I tried the mushroom cream chicken which came with rice, garlic sauteed spinach, creamed corn, and spicy green beans with asparagus. There was a lot of food and it could probably feed 2 or even 3 people. The chicken was flavorful and not dry at all. Even the vegetables were great-- each side had its own unique flavor profile. The green beans and asparagus had a good kick to them. My favorite would have to be the creamed corn though! The corn was super sweet while the creamy sauce delivered a zesty, tangy punch of umami. Highly recommend checking out this place! It operates as a ghost kitchen with a bunch of other pickup/takeout/delivery spots near the airport. There aren't a lot of places to sit nearby. read more

I ordered Chicken Paddy's Chicken Mushroom plate at the ghost kitchens of Ruff Drive, and it did not disappoint. I was blown away by the great quality and huge portion. The rice plate consisted of chicken and sliced mushrooms in a butter cream sauce, a hefty helping of white rice, sautéed spinach and cherry tomatoes, and a side of creamed corn. The plate was tasty and flavorful. Each component was honestly good standalone, but they also complimented the overall dish. What??? Shocked that this place has 5 stars?? You can order thru door dash or Uber eats. Even if you order for pickup Uber eats will charge you for a delivery fee. Also if you order through Uber eats app the plates are $20 and if you order through doordash theyre $14-$18. What?? I got the shaken beef bowl. It wasn't shaken beef or rib eye. It was more like chopped up Korean steak. Looked NOTHING like the photo. Portion was super small for being the large size. I picked it up 1 min after I got the notification that it was ready and it was COLD. Rice was dry and hard. Two of my coworkers got the Brazilian chicken plate. Once again looked nothing like the picture. Chicken was small and barely seasoned. Super cold and overall looked sad and soggy. They also said the portions were disappointing. Two of my coworkers got the garlic soy chicken. Both of them actually enjoyed their plates. They said it tasted good it was just very cold. When we read the reviews we were shocked to see so many people said the portions were huge. Chipotle gives you more food for $5 less per plate. Here's what I tried: Soy Garlic Chicken plate: South East Asian inspired chicken braised in a sweet, garlic, soy-based, marinade, sautéed with bell peppers and onions, and served with garlic onion rice, 2 eggs, and fried garlic. Loved how comforting this plate was, and how much it reminded me of my mom's signature home-cooked meals! Personally found the meat in this one a bit tough, but I definitely think it was a fluke/off day since my other plates were fine. Turkish chicken plate: Turkish style chicken marinated in a yogurt herb mix, grilled to order, and served with cilantro lime rice and bbq glazed vegetables with a side of Tzatziki sauce. I loved how refreshing this dish was, especially with the yogurt-based Tzatziki sauce, but definitely don't sleep on how flavorful and tangy the BBQ glazed vegetables are! Really good. Ghost kitchen. Seemed sketch at first driving there but it's a pretty public location. The guy who took my order was super nice. Explained the different foods. Talked up their sister restaurant. Mushroom chicken is what they're famous for so had to try it. And was not disappointed. So good!! Chicken tikka masala also good. Portion size decent. This was my second time back here and I tried the soy garlic & chicken tikka masala plate. Both were tasty and the portion was too large to finish in one sitting. Both plates were solid. The chicken tikka plate was flavorful. the soy garlic plate had a lot of bell peppers & onions which I love. That being said, I liked the mushroom chicken plate more than both of these. I also tried all of the buns at Bun Me Up, the sister kitchen (AHH, forgot to take pictures tho). The braised pork bun and shoyu pork were indeed the best. This was a unique experience because Chicken Paddy is part of a cloud kitchen. They do have some outdoor dining spots available, which was nice for a quick sit down lunch. I could also imagine it being convenient to order with friends if everyone wants something different. Chicken Paddy's menu itself features a bunch of chicken and rice bowls with different ethnicities. I tried the Tikka Masala bowl. I would say the food was good but not super authentic. This isn't the usual thick creamy buttery Tikka masala you'd expect, but a bit more tomato-y. I liked the cilantro rice but the chicken was slightly dry (fwiw though, the chicken in my wife's mushroom cream dish was not). The overall dish was not super heavy and it felt like a good meal when you're looking for something simple and quick. Overall, I would say this food was good but not great. I got the fried tofu plate this time, and I believe it was a new plate on the menu. The food look exactly the same from the picture and in person. Not only it look incredible but also it's healthy food as well. Also it is vegetarian choice, the tofu was still crispy when I pick up the foods. Everything i have tried here has been absolutely amazing so far. (Ive tried the brazilian, mushroom cream, soy garlic and turkish) The extra effort made towards seasoning the accompanying rice really goes a long way to adding to the flavor of the dishes they offer. Portion sizes are pretty large and each of the options they have are unique takes on the standard chicken + rice combo with different sides, spices and sauces. The drinks are also unique and packed with flavor. Pricing is also pretty reasonable considering the portion size. However perhaps most importantly, the service i received here really is worth mentioning. The first time I tried to order delivery via grubhub the driver was a no-show and the manager specifically reached out to see what was going on even after both parties were refunded by grubhub. I'm not 100% sure but I believe he actually personally delivered the food the next day along with providing an additional discount for the inconvenience i experienced which is definitely 5* level service. 100% added to my go-to delivery/pick up options. read more

i found out about chicken paddy from ubereats and i decided to give this place a whirl. you pick up your orders from a ghost kitchen. honestly, i really didn't expect to like this place that much! so far from here i tried the chicken tikka masala plate and the turkish chicken plate. both are super delicious, i cant tell which one i prefer! out of all the drinks, ive tried their mango lassi and brazilian lemonade (a creamy treat and a refreshing drink, respectively) all the ingredients taste super fresh and the flavors are so explosive and tasty. definitely will order more soon! read more
