Chicken Now is my favorite place to eat at the food court in Destiny, probably. I love that they fry the chicken fresh when you order it. I also enjoy that you can divulge in something greasy like fried chicken (so crispy) and pair it with a salad to make you feel a little better about yourself. I was really excited to try the chicken, and the service was great. Unfortunately, my wrap fell apart as soon as I picked it up, which was disappointing. It didn't seem assembled very securely. That said, the food tasted good overall, and the Grandma's sauce was delicious. read more

The food was so fresh. With the house salad, you get an enormous salad topped with chicken. This was not scrap chicken either. We are sitting by the carousel eating and enjoying the people so the ambiance as fun. The people that work there were smiling and helpful and the service was quick and great. read more

Okay, let me drop a bit of reality here.... As far a Mall Food Court dining options go, Chicken Now is by far one of the better ones. I've eaten here a few times and although it takes a little longer to get your food than a majority of the other options, I'm good with that as they cook your chicken to order. Nothing sitting around. For me, that's key. So, if you're in a rush then perhaps you need to consider other options. But, if your willing to wait, then it's worth it. It's been my experiences that the chicken has always been crispy and juicy. I've not had a bad experience or a poor meal. Now, it's not the healthiest, but let's keep it real- it's fast food...it is what it is. My Son typically opts for one of the three ready to good "Asian" style option, but today - he became a convert and proclaimed Chicken Now his new favorite Chicken Tender restaurant. We were at the mall before a comedy show and decided to grab a quick bite in the food court. I ordered a wrap and while it was okay, I was underwhelmed and expecting a bit more. The chicken was tender but it was just basically chicken and lettuce with Grandma's sauce. The sauce was okay, but a bit sweet for me, kind of like a sweeter version of Thousand Island Dressing. I would be opposed to trying something else there in the future such as their sandwiches on Texas Toast, but definitely not in a hurry to go back. read more

Actually, I absolutely love Chicken now. I don't have it much but when I do, It's Always enjoyable. And I recommend everyone try it. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because today 7-9-24 at 7:45pm I went to place an order and was told that they were closed. The woman was counting the register. I said what time do you close? She said 7:45, which of course isn't true. They are supposed to close at 8. Clearly she just wanted to leave early. Very disappointing. read more

There is a ton of competition at the mall, especially when it comes to chicken! I have been eating at Chicken Now for quite some time now. I see there area few issues that people have had in the past, but I have never really had a problem here. Every time I typically get the chicken box that comes with tenders, mac, toast, etc. Their grandma sauce is really tasty, but I am more of a bbq guy myself. The mac is always really good and I love the toasted Texas Toast bread they give out. Price wise, your looking at about the same as all the rest of the mall eateries. You will probably pay around 10 or 11 bucks if you want to get a drink. The staff are usually pretty nice and the food comes out relatively quick. I def prefer this over KFC any day! They are pretty close to Popeyes though. I tend to come here more though. Not a fan of the spicy gravy at Pops. I would recommend trying this out if you want a quick meal that wont really cost you very much. read more

Food poisoning. Took me and my sisters there for lunch before their flight. I got home a couple hours later and I started feeling sick and went to my doctor, he told me it was food poisoning. Didn't know from where until my sisters called me after they landed and they said they started feeling sick and had the same symptoms as me.. Definitely food poisoning. read more

**** Update Called to speak with the manager of the Syracuse location after spending a week trying to get in touch with their corporate office with absolutely no luck only to have the manager LAUGH and act like a total jerk. Not once did he apologize for what happened and offer any sort of customer service to fix the situation. He just told me he didn't know the corporate numbers. I asked him if he knew how to get in touch with anyone over his head. He said he could call his boss. I asked him to please give his boss my number. He took my number, but never once asked my name. He clearly didn't take anything I was saying seriously and couldn't have cared less. I have now filed a complaint with the BBB about this issue. Their website had NO way to contact them other than Facebook and Twitter for the Las Vegas location and neither of those pages have even been used by them in many many months. There's no email or phone numbers for anything other than individual stores. The company is beyond ridiculous. So I'm going over their heads to handle this. I'm beyond livid at this point - being laughed at is what set me off. **** (Original Review Below) Just stopped here and ate yesterday while spending the evening in the mall. After we got home, my other half was violently vomiting thanks to a wonderful bout of food poisoning. He ate the entire meal while I wasn't as hungry and just ate my fries. I do feel a little sick, so we aren't sure if it's from the chicken (which only he ate) or the grandma's sauce (which we both ate, but he ate more of). My guess would be a combo of both. Extremely unsatisfactory experience. Especially considering we decided to eat there because we were drawn in by the free samples that were being handed out. Whenever I have to shop at the mall I always have my meal at Chiken Now. I get the cajun chicken wrap with fries and an extra side of grandma's sauce. The chicken is typical of joints like this, but oh that sauce! The sauce really brings everything home and becomes one of those tastes you will crave for the rest of your life. One time, after ordering and sitting down at one of the mall tables, I noticed a group of elderly men with trays of Chicken Now in front of them. They were all talking and laughing and digging their wrinkled little fingers into chicken strips slathered in grandma's sauce. They were happy as could be, dining like kings on some very seemingly un-kingly food. Stopped at the mall on our way from Ontario to Albany NY. We needed cheap food, starbucks, and a bathroom so this made sense. Chicken Now is part of the food court. It's essentially fast food and is fine for what it is. It was cheap, the chicken was tender and not fried. I got a caesar salad wrap. It was a decent caesar salad with a creamy dressing and iceberg lettuce. The chicken was grilled so it was on the healthier side, as far as a food court can go anyway. For six bucks the wrap was pretty good. It held me over for the remaining three hours of my drive and was easy enough to eat in my car. I don't frequent fast food too often but in a pinch I'd take this over McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, and definitely over Taco Bell. read more

I was unimpressed today on my second time to chicken now after eating there when they originally opened a couple years ago. I bought the ten piece chicken for 11 dollars. The chicken was scrawny little strips of meat; albeit very juicy and somewhat satisfying to eat I was dissapointed in my purchase due to the quantity,quality, and service. I would not buy that item again; because I am a picky eater and I like an economical meal, but also because there is a much higher quality venue that sells chicken (in both salads and sandwiches at panera bread) just a short walk and an escalator away for less than the price of a modest amount of chicken strips from chicken now. I will end my review by saying that when I went to the counter I was not given a warm, friendly "hello" or even a recommendation. The dejected looks and indifference of the staff was less than sub-par. They say "You get what you pay for"... but in this case I feel like I paid an above average price for a very low quality meal. read more

I used to fw it here but it's either gone downhill or my tastebuds upgraded. I'm currently trying to eat their large box w/ the Mac& cheese and it's absolutely flavorless. In every piece of chicken there is a hard ligament or tendon that are unable to bite through and make me lose my appetite. And for a LARGE box they only give you one sauce for $10, and have the nerve to charge $.25 for another sauce. Kir the sauce was the only good part of my meal. Currently licking it rn. It was a beautiful winter day in syracuse NY, my friend and I thought to ourselves "wow i really could use some chicken right about now" so we look for the closed chicken we could get now and we found chicken now. we were enjoying our crispy tenders and crunchy fries until suddenly i let out a scream, i soon realized that there was a huge bug in my beverage. i took it upon myself to put a stop to this horrible madness and i went up to kindly let the worker know, she looked me dead and the eye and said "oh" then she took my cup and dumped out my drink and re filled the same cup with the same drink and got me a new top with the same straw. to this day i can not bring myself to walk into the mall without remembering arguably the worse moment of my life. read more

Love the grandma's sauce. I had the chicken wrap which was just average. Lettuce was a little wilty and I would have preferred more veggies like tomato's or onions in it. I got Mac and cheese on the side which tasted like Kraft boxed with pepper added to it. Food was edible but nothing special compared to other food options in the mall. read more

Chicken a little dry. Had the chicken southwest? salad and got mostly bitter last pieces of lettuce spine. Not sure what dressing was granny's secret sauce, but one of them tasted a little like southwest ranch- the other tasted like they pureed thousand island. Potatoes and gravy were fine. My son, he is 5-year-old loves chicken now. They have really fresh and juicy chicken tenders. They also have kids friendly mac n cheese, corn, and mash potato. Recently, he has started eating salad! I am so proud of him. He likes grilled chicken over his salad. My all time favorite is their fried fish sandwich. The perfect combination of seasoning on outside of fish and fresh moist inside is so delicious. I am addicted to their fish fry! read more
