Love the rustic Adirondack Cabin Vibe, first time I noticed The Legend of LongHorn portrayal. Friendly and attentive service. The dragonfruit Margarita sweet and sour with a fruity twist, large pour and enough to share. Both steaks cooked perfectly to order, loved the blue cheese crust! My daughter loves Molten Lava Cakes and was not disappointed! She has decided this is her new favorite Steakhouse, she preferred this meal over TR! My daughter and I arrived around 545 on a Saturday and were able to score a booth with no wait. Our booth was in a very bright area and the restaurant was crowded. Service was spot on throughout the meal very short wait time. Love the dragonfruit margarita, I didn't see any new cocktails that would sway my decision. Warm fresh bread, and salad quickly were served along with waters. The vegetables are very finely chopped in the salad, you can't avoid your not so favorites. Unfortunately both of our 6oz steaks ordered medium rare were served severely undercooked. We pondered if we would be ill from consuming undercooked meat. Unfortunately the next mishap is my daughter gnawing on a sharp plastic piece hidden in the Mac cheese took presidence over the undercooked steaks. We thought it was glass initially and were just happy she was not injured. Management was notified and apologetic offering replacement, and comped her meal. She opted out of any replacement, and we were both put off by the incident and undercooked steaks. I took most of my meal to go. Loved the margarita and great service! I visited this LongHorn Steakhouse for lunch with my sister and brother when visiting them. Our server was extremely friendly and our meals were served to order. As always, I thoroughly enjoyed the bread and butter. It is SO good! I ordered the chopped steak which I hadn't enjoyed in more than a decade. It didn't disappoint and is still as tasty as I recall. I paired my steak with the strawberry pecan salad. This proved to be an excellent choice. It was a very generous portion and delicious. My siblings ordered steaks and enjoyed their meals too. I've been here for lunch and dinner before and always have been happy with the food and service. My husband and I went for lunch a while ago and the manger came over and offered my husband a coupon for free desert or appetizer because it was his first visit. Well I went to lunch with my girlfriend and I used his free coupon ( he said it was ok-haha) to get a desert to share with my friend. I have to say it was delicious. It was a chocolate molten lava cake. I highly recommend going to lunch or dinner here. The service is excellent the food is good and the Manger makes you feel like your business is appreciated. For only $1.49 extra I got a beautiful, large, simple house salad. We had warm bread with butter and it was a perfect way to start our meal. As far as chain steakhouses go so far this place is in the lead. I also accidentally knocked over my soda because I'm not the most coordinated person and the waitress was so nice about it (even though I wanted to die a little) and immediately moved us to a new table without us asking. They have a brown bread with butter which is pretty similar to the Cheesecake Factory bread and so far the best spinach dip I've ever consumed. I try the spinach dip where ever I go and they are definitely number 1 on the list. I got the Parmesan chicken with a half rack of ribs and two side and my girlfriend got the ribeye steak with a side and salad. I've been wanting to try the food at longhorn for a long time now! Finally, over the weekend I was in Liverpool catching up with friends. We ordered the spicy chicken bites as an appetizer. I usually can't handle spicy foods but I love the taste. These chicken bites were amazing!! I would go back just for this, the sauce is so good! I ordered the Moscow mule which was good as well. It wasn't too strong, perfect taste! For my entree I ordered the Fire-Grilled T-Bone steak. I always order medium-rare because that's the best way to go, so juicy and flavorful. Along with the steak I ordered a Caesar salad and their Mac & Cheese. The Mac and cheese was so cheesy and tasteful. The service was also great! read more

I've visited this Longhorn location three times. 1st visit - 3 person dine-in on a weekday 4pm; A+ food, A+ service 2nd visit - solo dine-in weekday 7-8pm; B- food, B- service 3rd visit - 8pm takeout; C+ food, D service All three times I ordered a Diet Coke, well done burger, and seasoned fries. I've also had the Caesar salad twice and the loaded potato soup twice. I'm not hard to please, but for starters, anyone who knows how to cook should know how to make a well done burger without charring it so badly that the only thing you taste is that gross char taste. LOWER THE HEAT. On the third visit I actually asked for no char. All I tasted instead was burn and it ruined it for me. Anyone who says that well done always means burned doesn't know anything. Caesar salads and soups are excellent in house, but takeout salad for my Caesar was just lettuce, croutons, and dressing. No delicious Parmesan flakes that come with the salads ordered when dining in. Soup is excellent as takeout. On my second visit I wasn't checked on much and running out of drink (without so much as an offer of a refill) before you're done with your meal is a pet peeve of mine. As a server, it should be an automatic refill if you're not done eating. I also was not offered their delicious bread on my second visit. At any time. Is this because I was alone and couldn't possibly eat a whole loaf? Pfft. I asked anyway and ate what I wanted. The D rating of service on the third visit was earned because of the ordering process. The first time I tried to order online through the website I was unable to find a Caesar salad or toggle the choices for a salad without the things I didn't want. I was also unable to remove the things I didn't want from my burger. I then called the restaurant and told them the site wasn't working right and wanted to place my order over the phone. The girl transferred me and I waited for about 6 minutes on the phone before I hung up. I then thought about trying Chrome instead of OS, but that failed. Longhorn, fix your ordering screen! Instead of calling again, I just drove out there. The hostess looked back and forth between me and the bar and said I'll just take your order. They were not busy, mind you. 20 minutes later I was on my way. I suggest not ordering fries when ordering takeout. I mentioned the charred gross burger. I mentioned the lack of Parmesan on my Caesar. I got bread this time, because I asked for it. Soup was still hot. I should again note that they were not busy - AT ALL - so I'm not sure why I was on hold for so long. I saw at least four or five girls walking around. Overall, it'll be a while before I order takeout here. Texas Roadhouse, here I come! I give this a 3-star rating. read more

Longhorn USED to be our favorite go to spot. We were there a couple times a month between the Watertown and Syracuse locations. Every birthday in our family was also celebrated at Longhorn. That is until January 7th of this year. We attempted a family dinner. We did call ahead seating as we would be dining with a 2 year old child. We checked in and went to our car. We received a text shortly after stating our table was ready. This was at 5:40 pm. We tried to make our way through the crowd to attempt to check in. When we did they told us it was in face not ready but would be shortly. Maybe 10 minutes. We went back to the car and received a text again. Again we went in. Again told our table was not ready again. This was at 6:34 pm. (They actually sent this text twice)We go sit...and sit...and sit and wait in our car. After 7:00 I went back in. I told them we had been waiting and it's been a long time. First I was told they already sat us. WHAT? I'm standing here waiting to be sat and you're looking at me in the eye stating you already sat me? You just can't make this stuff up. I was told 10 minutes again! I just had a couple party's ahead of us. At that point I looked around and even the people I saw come in behind us were all sat. So I head to my car again. As I'm walking out my family is walking in. They weren't having it. When we walked back in I was told that they had a table for us. Next was the waiting game for food. We ordered steaks well done and med well. They were both rare. We ordered an appetizer but asked that it was served with the meal due to time and sitting all this time with a 2 year old. We never got our appetizer. The waitress we had was wonderful and she did give it to us to go. Too bad we were going back to multiple houses. Our food took a long time to get and we were supposed to be someplace before 8. We weren't even served until after 8. Over 2 1/2 hours from our arrival time. We had to rush through our dinner before the 2 year old lost his patience and some of us live in Oswego which is almost an hour and a half drive. I want to add as we were sitting in the dining room waiting on our food and received another text that they were sorry they missed us??? The blonde that was doing the seating had no clue what she was doing. If she wasn't experienced she should not have been placed in the position to seat people on a busy weekend. After all of this I reached out to Longhorn. Never received a response. Then I reached out again to tell them that their customer service is the worst I had ever experienced and they didn't even bother to respond. I did receive a response then. I was told the manager from the Watertown location would be in contact with me via email. Never happened. I contacted them again to state it never happened and then was told that the manager had most certainly tried to reach out. Nope. I have nothing. I was given the managers direct email so I emailed. Never heard back. It's been a week now. I messaged Longhorn again a couple days ago to let them know again their manager did not return my email. Nothing from them. All of this shows that Longhorn is there to take your $$$ but not there to provide the quality food or customer service you are paying a lot of money for! This has been by far one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever received. Jokes on me! You got my money! I spend a ton at that establishment on a regular basis however will not have any future visits. read more

First visit at this location. What a great experience! Excellent service from beginning until the end. Stacey was our server and she was great! Not once did we have to ask for anything. Refills were brought before we ran out. We enjoyed the Porterhouse for two. It was excellent. 30oz of pure heaven. It was cooked to perfection and did not even need the fancy garlic, lemon and rosemary steak sauce that comes with it. It comes with two salads and two sides. Serving portions were perfect for the two of us. We also had the Shrimp and Avocado Stack as an appetizer and it was delicious and refreshing. The sauce that comes with it was wicked good. Went to celebrate my husband's birthday. Was our 2nd time here together. You just don't know how much you're missing a steak until you get one from here. It's REALLY good. Today I got one of the specials - a ribeye with garlic vinaigrette, medium. It comes with a salad, side, and unlimited honey wheat bread. You can pay $1.50 more to upgrade your salad or side. The strawberry salad was delicious (don't let the name fool you - it also has red grapes and mandarin oranges). My steak was awesome. I really wanted to eat all of it, but I did manage to save some, even after sharing a good amount with my hubby. My husband ordered the 8 oz Flo's filet and he loved it (medium). We had the kids share a kid's grilled cheese (came with a drink, fruit, and broccoli or french fries). The french fries, bacon mac & cheese were good. The fruit on the kids' plate was 2 orange wedges that looked dried out so they got left behind. That was the only thing we didn't even try. We all liked their bread, especially our kids, so we had our waitress bring us another. I didn't feel as bad giving the kids extra bread since it seemed healthier than just white bread. Oh yeah, we added the 1/3 baby back ribs for $6.99 and the 1 rib we each ate was yummy (rest we brought home). My husband got a free birthday sundae and was still able to use his birthday coupon (from their email club) for a free dessert with a purchase of an entree. He ordered the chocolate stampede. He intended to bring most of it home, but it was hard for us to keep the lid closed on the to-go box. My husband did order a mudslide, but he had to specify he didn't want the 'dessert' version. We have been going to this place a couple of times over the past two years but our last visit will be the last one. We went for dinner around 6pm and the place wasn't packed at all. It was a Monday night. We were served by the bartender at our table. Unfortunately she was also supposed to manage the bar alone which left her with little time to take care of her tenants. She was pretty cold and rushed us through. The manager came pass our table 5 times and NEVER asked how we were doing. She obviously didn't care that her employees were running around and that her tenants weren't taken care of properly. That's a shame. We will take our business somewhere they want it more.
