Let me just start by saying - Are these the best wings I've ever had? I wouldn't say so but they're…read morepretty good. The wings were all well seasoned, and even the dry rub wings didn't taste dry. It tasted tender and juicy and I've never experienced that before with dry rub wings. We ordered the lemon pepper buffalo wings, buffalo wings, and Korean bbq buffalo wings and a side of fries. Our favorite was the buffalo wings. It had the right balance of juiciness and flavor. I wouldn't recommend the Korean bbq wings since it didn't have enough tangyness to it and didn't stand out. The French fries are a must order. The fries were so crunchy, and they were still crunchy even towards the end when we were almost finished eating. We arrived 30 minutes before they opened on a Friday and there were already people waiting in the lot which was crazy! It started raining while we were waiting in line and the line got even longer. If you're planning to try The Local, I would recommend coming on a regular weekday or come earlier if you're coming on the weekend because the line is crazy. There is some seating inside and outside the bar. We got there early enough to swipe a table. There were people standing and waiting for a table while waiting for their orders. Service was excellent! Tables are first come first serve. Plenty of parking in the back parking lot. I wouldn't wait in the rain for this but it was definitely worth a try!

We arrived there exactly at 5 PM, when it opens, but there was already a pretty extensive line. A little outside the entrance, they check your ID, which I had no idea was a thing. So make sure you have your IDs with you and are 21+. There's a bar area for drinks and a separate counter where you will order and pay for your food. (They make it pretty explicit that you can't get wings to-go.) Find a seat, and once your food is ready, they'll announce your name, and you pick up your food from the window. FOOD: We got wings in the flavors of lemon pepper (dry rub), sun-dried tomato (dry rub), buffalo lemon pepper (wet), and jerk buffalo (wet). I will say that I definitely preferred the wet wings to the dry wings. I found the dry wings to be a little too salty. In my opinion, the wings and the cook on them were just okay. I wasn't blown away or anything. Maybe the relatively cheap beer and the vibes help draw in all the appeal. TLDR// I don't think I had the greatest wings of all time here, but the vibes were really casual and pleasant. I'm glad I was able to try a place so beloved by locals.

It wasn't busy at all on a Wednesday night. Signs indicate that you should seat yourself wherever available and to head to the counter to make your order. I ordered takeout, so I can't speak about the dine-in experience here. FOOD: We ordered a double order of the wings and asked for their two most popular flavors, which were the lemony pepper wet wings and some other flavor (couldn't hear the worker clearly, but just went with it). The order came with fries and a choice between ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce. Maybe I am not used to the flavor profile here, but I found the wings to be excessively salty (and I have a preference for salty food). My tongue is still tingling as I write this review. Also, the lemony pepper wings tasted like they were coated in pure citric acid. The other flavor was drowning in sauce. The wings themselves were so dry that it felt like I was eating chicken jerky. SERVICE: Food came out within ten minutes of us ordering. No frills place, so expect no frills service. No complaints. They have a bag-it-yourself policy. TLDR// This might be the first place to actually convince me that overseasoning is actually a thing. Excessively salty, dry chicken wings that my tongue is still paying the price for. Would not come back, and I would try a different spot for lemony pepper wet wings.

People say the wings were small in other reviews but they taste far superior in my opinion and are cooked more consistently. I didn't care for the smell outside but non the fault of the place.

The chicken wings were just okay, but the main reason I came was because the place was open so late, making it convenient to try Atlanta's specialties. It was a limited-time experience! Sweet & Sassy Wingz: Their signature flavor. The chicken was over-fried, and the meat was a bit dry. Most importantly, it was coated in a thick layer of sauce, so sweet it was almost too sweet to eat... L. Pepper Wet Wingz: As an Atlanta specialty, this chicken wing was relatively interesting. The initial taste was an intense lemon sourness, almost making you shiver, followed by the warm spicy aroma of black pepper. If the sourness could be toned down, it would be quite good. The chicken wings were still overcooked, and because there was no sauce, the meat was even drier. But I don't know if this is a problem or part of their specialty? Season Friez: Although it was hot, it was already soggy and soft. I consoled myself, "Just grab something quick..." Side Salad: A meatless version of Caesar salad. The bread was so hard I couldn't even stick it in with a fork, but thankfully the lettuce was fairly fresh. Google Maps shows they're open until 3 AM, but they actually don't offer dine-in service after midnight, and the area outside is practically homeless's paradise. Please be careful!

I had received an email last month celebrating my April birth with a $10 discount good until June. Since I was in the neighborhood, I decided to stop bye and redeem my delicious gift. Greeted upon arrival, and made mention of the discount before I place my order. The young man at the register promotion, and immediately called to get clarification later the Wing Bar guru, Tori, showed up and was able to apply the discount. Note: discount was linked to my phone on account, and was applied when I signed into system. Select in my favorite, lemon pepper and medium sauce mixture on wings and made a combo with crinkle fries and canned beverage or water. There was an option to have the fries with sauce, but there was enough sauce in my order as expected to dip. Also paired with ranch dressing for extra flavor. There were several other sauces, now, interesting, including some larger bottles available for purchase. I truly appreciate first day gesture, great customer, service, and exceptional flavor of the wings definitely an EAV gem!

The first time I went (and each time after that) there's been a line, but they're efficient and it moves very fast, so don't let that scare you off. Once you enter, the walls are decorated with everything from album art to Freaknik pics, murals, and even mugshots of some of your favorite rappers. I always pass my time in line by looking at them all. There's even a nostalgic old living room setting with plastic on the couch and other Black household nostalgia pieces that just make you feel a way. Now about the food. I have a thing for the crack wings (tangy crack wings to be specific). I don't know who thought of that recipe, but it works and it's a must-try. Really, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Much respect to the staff, and obviously I'll be back again soon.
