After telling the cashier that this is my first time when actually it's really my second but the first time, they ran out of brisket, so I left. Two years later, I'm back! Anyway. She let me know how I can order properly and also help me determine what size brisket I want. She assisted me with an option that isn't on the menu and it was perfect for just me. Overall, just great service. I hope to come back and may be dine in, maybe sit at the bar and hopefully try some of the sides.

Thursday Lunch Special Brisket Loaded Baked Potato

I finally snagged this coveted Thursday special Loaded Brisket Baked Potato. BBQ sauce not pictured. Everyday, M-F that is, Pit Boss has a daily special. Thursday is highly talked about where I work. These potatoes sell out quick. You can have your choice of meats, but that Brisket, is so good! Smoky, flavorful, seasoned just right!! I ordered it through Door Dash, because that line at lunch time is a beast! Order early, is my best advice, because they do sell-out!

Brisket, southern potato salad, coleslaw, sausage. macaroni and cheese and collard greens.

This is our second visit. The first was in 2019. We have been dreaming of the delicious food and especially tender brisket.... it did not disappoint. Drive 40 minutes out of our way and it was sooo worth it!

We stumbled upon Pit Boss Barbecue while waiting for friends to arrive from the airport--and what a great find! The staff was fantastic--friendly, welcoming, and full of great suggestions. They greeted us enthusiastically as soon as we walked in, setting the tone for a great meal. A live musician played bass the entire two hours we were there, adding to the cozy vibe. We ordered the Rib Tip Dinner with baked mac & cheese. The meat was juicy with a perfect crisp, and the mac & cheese was full of flavor. The cheesy mashed potatoes were a bit heavy for me, but the peach cobbler was amazing! Their barbecue sauce added just the right kick. Overall, delicious food, great music, and warm service--I'd definitely come back!

This was my first and last time visiting this place. Nasty is an understatement. The ribs were dry, the brisket was tasteless and the Brunswick stew was gross. Came here for a work meeting and was not pleased. The service was prompt and the ambiance was friendly with a whole bunch of contractors that work in the area. I don't have anything good to say about this food. I will never come back. Dry ribs and nasty taste.

I've been here previously to the old location in the old building by myself. The second time visiting I went with my sister Medinah a couple of years ago in the new building. The food here is good and delicious. I didn't try the whole menu so I can't speak on all of that. My go to entree's are the smoked wings with fries and the brisket sandwich with sauce! This is what I like plain and simple and delicious. I got my food through Uber Eats this time around. I got my food on 10-22-2025.Pull up and support if you are in the area.

They had a DJ spinning some killer music. The staff was great all very nice and helpful. The food was ok at best. The brisket was hard a cold. The Mac n cheese had a different taste that I couldn't quite pin point. The cornbread was hard dry and not very good flavor. The sauces were only mild and hot. I was hoping for something more sweet and spicy but didn't see anything. The baked beans were the best part. I unfortunately don't think I'll ever go back.

Ask the Community - Pit Boss BBQ

    Is this location open?

Yes. You can smell the smoker. Enjoy.

Does the new location serve beer?

I did not see any alcohol options available.

Do they take reservations for parties larger than 10?

Honestly, I don't think they take reservations. The place is a proverbial hole in the wall with service first come first serve. But I'm sure you could arrange it where they could reserve an area for you.

Will it be open Memorial Day?

    Usually, limited hours

For the most part, people seemed to enjoy it so I was convinced I should check it out. The restaurant is located inside of the Hilton airport Hotel. There is a secure parking lot that requires you to pull a ticket when you enter. The restaurant will validate the parking ticket for you ! When I walked in I was greeted by a staff member and seated immediately. Shortly after I was seated my wait staff came over and introduced herself. She took my drink order and said she would allow me time to look over the menu. I asked my wait staff her thoughts on the Mac and cheese. I am picky about eating Mac and cheese from places. Most don't know how to make real Mac & cheese ( if you know what I mean)! She told me it was pretty solid. - As such I ordered the following: Crab bisque Smoked chicken wing plate served with two sides: Mac & cheeses and asparagus were my picks! The crab bisque did take a long time to come out. It was so delayed that my main course came out shortly after the soup. It was not ideal, but I made it work! The crab bisque was solid. I would order it again. The wing plate also exceeded my expectations! I was impressed with the mac and cheese. The asparagus were large, which was concerning to me! Like how did they get so big? Steroids? Nonetheless, they were cooked to perfection! I did get the banana pudding to go- this was the only item I would not order again! It was basic and I only took a few bites and ended up trashing it . Overall I would reconned this spot! Service was spot on- and for a hotel restaurant the food is pretty good!

They charged tip automatically and it made me feel like they forced me to pay for service I did not received. Not a great way to keep costumers... maybe that's why only hotel guests are forced to eat here... The lobby area and bar was well decorated and had a great ambience. We parked behind the building and a woman who worked there had the door open. She had on a shirt that read Legalize being Black. My husband had on a Black Lives Matter shirt, & I had on a Juneteenth shirt. She smiled and raised her fist at us as we asked to enter through the door and we responded in kind. I love us! She toke U.S. to grab a menu as we walked in to the right of the bar. We found a high top and found what we wanted and went to the counter to order. The prices are reasonable until you get to adding the sides. I overheard another worker tell a couple who ordered after us to order the veggie plate if they were getting 4 sides as it was cheaper. I wish the person who took our order had told use that. The entrees are à la carte and priced reasonably. The sides are $5 each with a few exceptions, a hoecake is $2 and mac & cheese and a couple other sides are $6. Keep that in mind when you come. Our total for our inside dining with a can of ginger ale, fountain Diet Coke, & tip was like $70+ & the to go order for our son's meal w/o a drink was ~$30. It's definitely a good value if you only need an entree and have sides already. The food is good and has large pieces of meat & decent portions so there you go... I ordered the fried green tomatoes as a starter, smoked beef brisket with the barbecue sauce on the side, smoked turkey cabbage, dressing, & the lemon pound cake. Ironically, the fried green tomatoes came out last. They were piping hot though. They could've used a dash of salt but that cornmeal batter was perfection on the tomatoes. You get 3 and 1 was cut a little too thick and it was slightly mushy maybe cause it had to cook longer? But it was still good. The beef brisket was good. It's sliced thin and had that good smoke flavor and was seasoned well. The thicker slices could've been a bit more tender but overall it could rival some barbecue joints. The dressing was good and so was the cabbage, though it was almost tad bit saltier than I'd like. I'd order everything I had again. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed my food. You know not everyone who claims to cook southern food can do so. Oh the pound cake was good and moist. It reminds me of Sammy Chhesecake pound cake. My husband ordered the 3 pieces of fried chicken, collard greens & they do have a lil kick as the menu suggests, green beans, & yellow rice. He was pleasantly surprised with how big the pieces of chicken were. Nowadays people give you what looks like pigeon parts ‍. He said it was a tad salty. He said he also enjoyed his meal otherwise. I forgot to get pictures of the food for our son's takeout order of fried pork chops, collard greens, mac & cheese, & a hoecake. He liked his food as well but also said his pork chops, which were nice size center cut, were well seasoned, but a little too much. He enjoyed the meal and his 1st hoecake. They also do catering and seemed to have a large catering order being prepared to go out. The restaurant & woman's restroom was clean. The staff were friendly and quickly acknowledged us. The music was good but it would've been good to hear a mix of old school with the hip hop since it was Juneteenth. They have a full bar. The only thing I didn't like was Fox News & another conservative news channel on; at least not on JuneteenthZ a generic movie or TV show would've been better for me anyway. They had a steady stream of to go orders and in person dining. I guess we're just late to know about

I brought in some fans when the air was out a couple of days ago. Let me preface by saying that I did this to help my friends. I didn't want anyone to have to work in ridiculous heat. I brought two small fans and one large. I got my two small fans yesterday, no problem at all. I came in tonight and Yanna (who I have always been cool and amicable with, for quite a while), acted like my last fan wasn't available and it was somehow stolen, though I had seen it hanging over the staircase the night before. It would simply be ok with me to get my property back. It's shameful that any of this turned out the way it did. I'm literally one of the quietest and nicest people that anyone ever deals with. I did not have any kind of negative interaction, but was treated as if I was being a nuisance and causing a problem. I am always kind and calm, I never have any issue with any server or bartender. It really disappoints me because I've always been a kind guest, and have always been treated well. But I think my time with Chairs is now done. It sucks, because all of my interactions with everyone leading to this moment has been really great. Jess, Cay, Ike, Nigel, Major, Kelly. Everyone until one stupid night with one stupid fan. I was not at all forceful, just inquisitive. I really feel like Yanna didn't have an answer for a very soft question and instead of looking into it, turned me into a villain, using Jess as a stopgap in order to avoid dealing with a very simple situation that could have just been dealt with by either giving my fan back, or the owner spending fifty bucks on a fan of the same caliber and writing it off as a business expense. This is all very sad. I enjoyed being at chairs. I'm done.

My sister ordered sweet potato fries to go, and I ordered a build your own burger. I customized my burger to have: chickpea patty, sautéed onions, bacon, avocado and Swiss cheese. We waited at least another 30 minutes, and nothing came. My sister asked for her check close to 1PM. At that point he brought out her food, which he stated he "stole" from the kitchen. So after waiting at least 30 minutes, her to-go order actually had not been prepared. At that point he mentioned to me that the kitchen informed him they didn't have any chickpea patties prepped and were making it fresh. My sister had to leave, and I continued to wait. At 1:10PM I decided I would cancel the order whenever the bartender showed back up, and he happened to walk around the corner with my food. I immediately requested a box and the bill. I received the ticket and was charged 1.00 per honey mustard which was never mentioned. I paid my bill, packed up my food, finished my beer and left. I got into my car, looked closely at the food and realized the bacon I paid 3.00 extra for was missing.
