Genuinely the best grilled chicken I've had. Juicy with just a little real smokey carbon flavor. Very simple extremely good food. The grilled bbq chicken is amazing but the buffalo wings are breaded fried from frozen. Fried sandwiches are very good. The one things that aren't ideal are mashed potato and Mac and cheese. Came here tonight to get carry-out to join friends for dinner at their place. The chicken is super moist - including the breast meat. The foot itself was piping hot even after 15 minutes of walking to my friend's place. The BBQ charred flavor really shines through and the skin is not at all fatty. The skin was thin, salty, and tasty. The salad was so fresh, and had romaine, iceberg, cucumber, and people cabbage. The dressing was vinegary and added a refreshing crisp to the salty protein. I got the platter which comes with pita bread and one side, which I chose mashed sweet potatoes. They sweet potatoes had cinnamon sprinkled on the top and was just mashed. They must have added sugar or honey because it was very sweet. The star sauce had to be the summery, fresh tomato and garlic sauce. It was slightly pink, and the cool mixture was a nice contrast to the hot chicken! The dark meat was so juicy and I cannot get enough. I recently discovered this place after searching for a place for dinner. I was sold once I saw pita bread. My hunny had the grilled salmon steak yellow rice Greek salad and grilled veggies. I had the bbq wings and lemonade. The veggies were amazing , grilled to perfection. The salmon steak had perfect chard marks and was full of flavor. My wings were just as equally yummy. The only disappointment was the lemonade. It was flavorless and watered down. Living in the Heights, i have found some of the best lemonade spots. I expected the same from this gem. The portions are huge, and the chicken was very moist. As for the service, everyone was very kind and friendly. I ordered some roasted sweet potato as a side, but know that it's literally a whole potato In tin foil and not cut up potato..maybe that was just me. I've always laughed at this place because you can order a "whole chicken" for delivery, but whatever, why not give it a shot. I ordered the quarter chicken and 3 ribs meal, which plus tip and tax, comes out to $16. Honestly, the meal is so big that it might last for several days. It comes with pita, a salad, and a side of your choice (fries. Always fries.) The fries were a little soggy by the time they got to me, but I love fries, all the same, so no problem there. The chicken was really good. Simple rotisserie. Ribs were a little on the dry side, but still pretty good. Could use more sauce. Very soft though. Pita was a little burnt. I love their food I buy it often the grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce is my favorite thing to buy from there it's been exceptional for me. I buy the chicken wrap for my sister. I would buy there every day if I could but I settle for once or twice a week. I love that the foods simple it's not crazy has spice (I love spicy foods but I don't like surprises) or super salty I can really taste the grilled chicken and it's enjoyable the way it is please don't change. A cause for concern is they also send the food in plastic containers the ones you buy at the supermarket/99c store (they are reusable lid and container) this isn't very good, although I wash them and keep it every time I buy from there other people will throw it away it's not good for the environment. My suggestion for the owner/manager is to add a price when you buy online and in store like .50c-1$ for the use of the containers as an entire purchase this gives people a reason to keep them because they cost money. Also add a suggestion if they want it tin foil instead with no extra cost so less plastic is wasted and more people choose that option because it's free. I have 10 reusable containers now this is why I felt I had to add this. read more

This was my go to spot. Loved it up until a week ago when I ordered a chicken ceaser salad and found dirt in it.. I was really disappointed because I was really looking forward to enjoying my salad but once I saw that I was grossed out. For some reason I decided to just brush it off remove the piece of lettuce that was covered in dirt and eat the rest of the salad. God, I shouldn't have!! Fast forwarding to today I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and thought okay maybe it was just a bad day.. but NOPE something worst happened today, halfway through eating my salad I saw a BUG crawling alllll over the salad. It was so gross!! At this point I was upset AND was convinced that THEY DONT WASH THEIR SALAD. The salad did not look fresh at all... so disappointing. If they did this wouldn't have happened. Once I went back and showed them the BUG on my salad they acted like they didn't care. More like we can give you a burger or something else from the menu; or my money back.
