Breading was light with the right crunch, tangy rice was great with brown gravy, and the mac was dreamy creamy. Ms Audreys is open for lunch six days (closed Saturdays) and is kind of in a back neighborhood, housed in a former elementary school, gym I think. Although I feel like it could have used a few more shrimp for the price point, it was really good and comes with this creamy sort of salsa that pairs well with the fried shrimp. My wife got the grilled chicken sandwich, and honestly it was bigger and looked better than my poboy. I am definitely trying that next time. I hope this place is doing well because it never seems very busy when we go. It's like something is missing on the inside to liven it up. Our tables were covered in epoxy that was cracked and we saw buckling on the wood floors, most likely from humidity. Service has always been pretty quick and I have never had any complaints.
