Eat there once or twice a week. Food is always hot and delicious. Lots of variety and never had a bad meal.

Great food. Fast service. Good prices. You may not like their small unattractive table area, but you won't be disappointed.

The wait is long, but the food is good. If you can stand the wait, it's a yes. No one was complaining about the wait either.

Wasn't that great at all. Food wasn't great and service was lot great. Also they don't have in store dining available, just pickup.

They never disappoint, the service is quick and friendly, the atmosphere a bit lively and definitely a family friendly place. Really impressed with the pace of the food. We had a chance to eat the appetizer and really enjoy it before the salads came out. We finished the salad with a few minutes to spare before the main entrées came. The steaks were all cooked exactly as we requested. The sides tasted like good old down home Southern cooking! By the time we finish the meal we were stuffed. The table next to us had some of the most well-behaved children. I had seen or experienced in a restaurant in a long time. I asked the server if I could use my special birthday dessert coupon and donate to that table and they did not have a problem with that. Of course, I asked the parents before I did it, and I have never seen such overjoyed children in quite some time. I'm not so sure. The parents really enjoyed the chocolate overload that game with the dessert but the mother assured me they would be able to handle any hyperactivity that came about as a result. Lol. All in all a really great way to spend a birthday

I should have noticed the lack of patrons when nearby competitors had 1 plus hour waits. Lots of parking and easy to find, however. That was the high points. We were seated quickly, party of 4 adults, and server had menus in our hands quickly. The table was pretty dirty as we sat down and server re-cleaned it in front of us. We placed drink and food orders at same time. A couple of us went to the poorly maintained restrooms. Filthy was the better word to use. They matched the rest of the restaurant. Upon getting back, the drinks were brought to the table. One of the waters had debris in it and the iced tea was not with ordered lemon. Eventually after a very long wait, our food arrived. None of the steaks were cooked as ordered. All were rare, not medium medium well, or well done as ordered. We had to ask for rolls. One of the steaks was requested to be cooked as ordered and when it was returned, another server slightly slung it onto the table with a sour attitude. That recooked steak was still rare. Server never returned to top off drinks or check on us. We had to request the server to get our check. When she returned the check, the provided credit card wasn't in the folder. The server argued it was returned. It was found at the register. Way too expensive for a horrible experience. A couple of the party had stomach cramps afterwards.

It was very good, but not sure what that thin sauce on it was, plus a few crumbled pieces of blue cheese. Kind of hard to hold and eat unless you smash it down. Craving satisfied.

While in town for our yearly vacation, we decided on Woody's Roadside for a quick and easy dinner…read morebased on the reviews and pictures, as well as recommendations from a few locals. Unfortunately we were left pretty underwhelmed with the experience. It's not that Woody's is bad, per se, it just isn't...good. The service was great. Our server, Jaclyn, was very attentive and helpful. She didn't hover but she made sure we had what we needed and was nearby if we had questions or requests. Jaclyn recommended the margarita, which is where things started going downhill. My dad ordered a classic lime margarita and didn't take more than a couple drinks of it. We all tried it and agreed it just had a nasty flavor. Sort of like bad white grape juice? It was weird, and of course there's a little asterisk on the menu that notes all alcohol sales as final. We were unimpressed with that but didn't even try to argue the point. Our food came next. It was actually incredibly fast service, especially considering the 30-top that was seated when we arrived, with their orders given to the kitchen right before ours. Everything was hot and fresh, though not all delicious. Here's a run down of my family's reviews of their food: Build-A-Burger w/ Amer. cheese - A bit too thick and tough like the meat had been slightly overworked, but it had a great flavor and was seasoned well. The edges were burnt and it was well done, not medium well. Good beer-battered fries. Spicy Hawaiian chicken sandwich - Very flavorful and tropical but the toppings made the bun soggy and the ratio of filling to bun was way off, even with ham and lettuce removed. Crab cake tower - The fried green tomatoes and sauce were great, as was the corn bean salsa that came with it. The crab cakes were good too, though nothing special. The shrimp on top were juicy and well-seasoned. Wouldn't go back for it though. Korean pork tacos w/ mac & cheese - They were okay. The slaw included was a bit too sour but the pork was juicy and flavorful. The mac & cheese was too bland. Chicken strips & fries - The chicken tenders were cut wrong so they were hard to eat. I had to cut them up with a fork and knife to get bite-sized pieces that I could chew. They had a good flavor but the technique needs some work. The beer-battered fries have a strange seasoning on them that got more unpleasant the more I ate, but everyone else liked them, so that's probably just me. This is one of my least favorite restaurants we've been to on the Gulf Coast, which is unfortunate because I honestly thought I was going to like it a lot! For the price, I don't think this is a great place, especially because it's pretty out of the way from the main drag(s).

The service was really friendly and my food came out very quickly. Prices were reasonable and I didn't see a hugely extensive menu tho several of the burgers were unique without being outstandingly weird or out in left field. One thing I am DEFINITELY taking off a star for is charging a 3% surcharge to the customer to offset using a debit or credit card. I own a small business and I 100% feel like this is a cost of doing business and not something to pass on to the consumer. Or, if you're going to charge that kind of surcharge, let there be a purchase minimum, say 5 to $10. It annoys me when businesses do this. It seems needlessly "penny-pinchy" and if you're going to accept credit cards and debit cards for the convenience of the customer, that is what you accept as a business owner. My business accepts this as it cost to doing business, I absolutely feel like this is the cost of doing business by the owner, and I will die on this hill. That aside, the food was really good. Fries were hot and crispy and the burger fresh and juicy. Highly recommend and I'd pay with cash, like I did to avoid the "customer convenience fee" which is anything but convenient!
