$13 for runny chicken salad This place was great for a whole. not anymore. plastic wrapped cookie thrown on top of the Chicken salad and grapes were rotten. I would have taken it back but didn't have time. will not go back.

I really enjoyed this place. It feels new & clean in there. The bathrooms were clean and that's always a good sign. I ordered the Jalapeño Holly combo but I upgraded to the side seasonal salad. I was surprised it came with a cute little cookie(which was delicious) a pickle & a few cracker packs. I'm sure it said in fine print but who reads that ;) It wasn't as spicy as I was expecting but it was salty. The crackers & some of the lettuce from my salad helped take it down a notch. I really did enjoy the flavor though. My salad was so good. The poppyseed dressing was light & refreshing. I recommend this place & I will be back to try quite a few different things. Oh & last but not least. They don't take tips but they donate any tips to a local place to help feed the hungry. I loved that.

We got some food to work from the chicken salad chick. I've never really had chicken salad chick before but we wanted to try it and I must say it was scrumptious. Me and my coworkers all really enjoyed it. I will try it again the chicken salad was really good.

The first line of the Chicken Salad Chick's mission states that she has been on a lifelong quest to find the perfect chicken salad. I can't relate. Chicken salad isn't that big of a deal for me and I rarely eat it. The chicken salad here is pretty good though. Chicken salad seems like a strange thing to base an entire concept around, but Chicken Salad Chick makes a strong go of it! The menu is fairly limited since you have your choice of chicken salad as a scoop or on white, wheat, or a croissant and then pair it up with soup, salad, or a selection of small sides. I ended up going with the broccoli cheese soup and a croissant sandwich. The soup had a nice chunkiness to it rather than the typical broccoli puree and the sandwich was filling. Ultimately, I would have liked both to have a little more kick to them (sharper cheddar from the soup and some pepper or spice in the chicken salad), but they were good! Finishing off the meal was a soft cookie with red icing that was perfectly sized! The interior is done up in bright greens and whites. Plenty of stored patio umbrellas led me to believe that there is probably ample outdoor seating when weather permits. The store was extremely clean, crisp, and appeared brand new even though I know they've been in this location for several months. Approaching the order counter from the door on the opposite side of the building was a little confusing as there's no real indication how the queue is supposed to form, so go to your left along the wall. The staff at the counter were all friendly and brought out our food swiftly. Since my life has not been dedicated to finding the perfect chicken salad, I don't think I have a reason to continue searching and will stop back by for a light but filling meal!

I love this place! A couple of coworkers mentioned it and I had to check it out, after discovering how much I love chicken salad recently. They've got a drive thru and a pretty big dine-in area. When you walk in, there's a section of pre-made chicken salads that you can just grab and go, or you can order off their menu at the counter. You can order the chicken salad as a scoop or a sandwich. What really stuck out about this place was all of the cool flavors they have! I tried the Barbie-Q and my fiance had the Buffalo Barclay. Both were really good! I also love the girly design of the restaurant. With your meal they have a lot of different sides to choose from, and I went with the broccoli salad.. Also really good! They even gave us a small sugar cookie. This is a neat place for chicken salad. Definitely much better than your average!

We were in Jeffersonville today and decided to give Chicken Salad Chick a try! I've been by the location in the Destin area but never had the chance to try it. We had not been in Jeffersonville in quite a while, so we were surprised at all of the new stores and restaurants in this area. We decided to eat in as everyone was safely distanced and wearing masks. We tried the Fruity Fran and Classic Carol chicken salad on toasted wheatberry bread. Our sides were the pecan grape salad, broccoli salad and a scoop of the spicy pimento cheese. Everything tasted fresh and delicious! The spicy pimento cheese was SO good. They had lemonade and strawberry lemonade which I mixed with my sweet tea for a fruity Arnold Palmer. We enjoyed our lunch so much that we got some of the chicken salad and pimento cheese from the to go case to take home. Small containers are $5.99 each. This was a great change of pace from the typical fast food fare. Nice to have something that was not fried. We will be back!

New restaurant in Southern Indiana. As a huge fan of chicken salad I was beyond excited to try a restaurant that specialized in exactly that. My expectations were met! The amount of options was exceptional and the taste was as well. Will stop in anytime in down in the area! My mind will not be changed! Hands down my favorite deli type Restaurant. If you are a fan of McAllister's, Panera, MCL,etc this is the place for you! It's 100% the best of all restaurants like this. Their CRANBERRY KELLI is my favorite. It is chicken salad with almonds and dried cranberries. I believe they also have the best broccoli salad I've ever had! It is the perfect ratio of dressing and sweetness. The staff is also a huge selling point, they are all so nice and friendly. Grab it 6 days a week - closed on Sundays.

First off - I love this local gem, and I think it was just an odd/off night. It started with a scary trip to the ladies room, and it was just a mess. The first part of our evening (meeting friends) was great. Cocktails were tasty and the music was vibing. Fried pickles were AWESOME. At one point, the bartender changed the record and it became crazy loud - we literally couldn't hear the person 2 feet away speaking. A member of our party got up and asked the bartender if he could turn it down (asked politely), and was ignored. Literally ignored - bartender looked at my friend and the just walked away (and not to turn down the music). Next cocktail was AWFUL... food came out, and it was hot but nothing great; fries were oily. Churros were tough and overcooked as well. Our server (a younger woman) was attentive and friendly, and that was the highlight of our visit. She did turn down the music when we asked (and after another table I believe also asked). It wasn't a busy night, and I love the vinyl vibe and cool venue - we will come back and try again, but when 3 cocktails, an appetizer, and entree cost close to $100 before tip (for 2 - our friends were the same, so $200 for a table), you really need to be on point and provide solid service.

There are a lot of brunch cocktails (variations of mimosas and bloody marys, beer and tomato juice concoctions) and there massive bar if you're wanting something else. Prices on all pretty fair and pours are generous. For the food, I had the chicken and waffles and it was really good--the waffle was crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside, perfectly toasted. I love the overall ambience/atmosphere of this place. Our server was fantastic, very kind and efficient. Didn't rush us out as we took our time with each course and spent the morning catching up.

The restaurant includes a long row of bar seating that extends to the other end of the restaurant, so there was no problem for me to find a seat on a busy day. I ordered the Mac n cheese and braised greens, and the Mac n cheese was really good and creamy. The braised greens were just okay, it wasn't the best greens I've had and it could use extra flavor. I don't know if this is a thing they do at Doc Crow's, but in my opinion the bartender excessively kept asking me what I wanted even while I was still looking at the menu. This definitely frustrated me since it was clear that I wasn't ready yet. I think she should have done a better job reading my cues to figure out when I am ready to order.

My top-tier chum who literally went to the school of hospitality and I spent most of the afternoon on a bourbon tour and a post-tour distillery so...food was needed. And quickly. In our mild defense, we didn't really know how the day was going to go or when we were actually going to have dinner, which made it a little tougher to pre-plan, but no research went into this at all and we paid for it. We wrapped up our bourbon adventures at the Angel's Envy distillery probably five or six blocks from here. Instead of being grownups and doing at least a quick/impromptu recon for spots, we literally just walked outside and down W Main St until we hit something. And we hit this, which was right on the edge of the main tourist area, pretty much Louisville's equivalent of the Times Square/MSG area. And as someone who works and used to live in NYC, you'd have to do a lot of convincing to get me to eat in that particular area - it's overpriced and the food/service just tends to not be very good, which makes you wonder what the appeal is for tourists beyond the convenience. But regardless, it's always struck me as an odd way for a tourism spot to put its best foot forward (or not). Doc Crow's is enormous, and when we were brought further into the restaurant to our table, I think we literally walked through three or four large rooms and navigated through multiple passageways. If you told me this place took up an entire city block or close to it, I'd believe you. Beyond the size/scope, there's nothing really distinctive that separates it from the myriad of other restaurants you'd expect to see catering to out-of-towners. It was the Friday evening of Memorial Day Weekend, so a place that I suspect is usually pretty busy was even busier and louder than that. Maybe not the greatest recipe after a bourbon tour, but who can say. On the app front, we got the Crispy Salmon Bites, which were fine. Not an item I typically see on a menu, even one with more of a seafood bent. I thought the cornmeal/panko breading was the right call; I'm a big catfish aficionado, so I'm of the opinion that cornmeal is underutilized, at least in the Northeast where I come from. Otherwise, nothing really mind-blowing there; probably would have made sense for it to be a different type of fish given the prep (I think salmon is best raw in a sushi roll or grilled), but it could have been worse. I don't think a ton of thought went into this on my end, but I went with the full rack BBQ ribs, along with a side of mac n' cheese. Again, okay, though not as flavorful as I would have hoped and I thought the ribs were on the dry side. Not their fault, but I always regret getting the full rack in hindsight because ribs have a deceptively significant amount of meat on the bones and a half rack is a very decent portion by itself; I am a work in progress just like everyone else. The mac n' cheese was also pretty dry, which I think you can see pretty obviously in the accompanying picture. Tasted and felt reheated at least once or twice. The service was pretty efficient given how busy it was, but our waiter was just on robotic autopilot. Not remotely personable and everything I said to him was responded to with, "For sure, for sure." Maybe he was having a rough night to start the holiday weekend, but it felt like he was just going through the motions and just checking off some boxes there. I went into this already predisposed to not like the generic tourist trap places, so grain of salt. But my recommendation if you have the time/bandwidth (now that I'm a cagey Louisville vet) is to bypass this area if you can and find something tastier and more interesting in the Highlands neighborhood. That's where the real ones are.

Kylie was our bartender and she was fabulous - knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all of our questions with patience. Wife ordered a mango margarita and doesn't like a lot of tequila, so Kylie went half and gave her a shot on the side in case she wanted to add more. It was wonderful. I had a couple of beers. We started with the fried mushrooms, which aren't what you would expect. It's two large portobellos cut into chunks, battered, fried, and served with sun-dried tomato mayo. They were great. I then ordered a duck taco, brisket taco, and a side of Grippo Fries with smoked mayo. I'd never tried duck but that taco was smack-a-lackin'. The brisket taco was also good, and the fries were fantastic - sweet and spicy, fresh cut, and crispy. Wife ordered a pork belly slider and truffle fries. She enjoyed the slider but didn't care for the fries - just not her thing. The portions here are large. A side of fries will feed three people. We took a hefty portion of them home, as well as some of the mushrooms. We could've sat there at the bar and spent 3 hours socializing and enjoying a smattering of cocktails - love the setting. Look forward to going back and trying one of the burgers at some point.
